Chapter 1

Walking through the streets dejectedly a young boy with spiky brown hair, brown eyes and an androgynous face lets out a sigh.

"I thought I had a chance." He said to himself.

Arriving at his destination the young boy opens the gate to enter his house.

Seeing him both his parents try to greet him. "Welcome back!"

A stern-looking man with dark brown hair and wearing glasses ask.

"So Soji how was school today?"

Obviously, a little bummed up with how his day went he replied. "It was okay, I guess."

Knowing that he is not telling the truth he insists.

"Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything right?"

Not wanting to be talking about it right now he slightly raises his voice although he didn't mean to.

"I said it was okay"

After saying that he quickly enters the house and goes to his room to change.

"You misread the mood again Mitsu," Said the beautiful lady with a black hair ponytail.

"I was just asking how his day went Ayano. Also can't I call his lie?

And looking at how he is acting right now it was obviously not okay."

"That's fair I guess, I also want to know what got him so moody though."

"Let us just ask after dinner to give him time to calm down."

The two began to continue what they are doing before Soji came home.

Ayano starts to water the plants and Mitsu resumes his car inspection.

In his room, Soji was tossing around his bed thinking about today's tryout.

Knowing that he will go nowhere just mulling about it, Soji boots up his computer to search how to coop up with this.

Immerse in his reading about the different posts about the topic, he did not notice the time past.

Hearing some knocking on his door he asks. "What do you want?"

"Dinners ready so come downstairs now." Answered Ayano.

Looking at the time on his computer he realized that it was already time for dinner.

"Okay mom I'll just turn off the computer so just wait for me at the table."

Hearing that Ayano goes back to the dining table.

Finally seeing that the computer is completely shut off Soji finally goes to the dining area.

Arriving, he sees that dinner is already at the table and both of his parents are already at the dining table waiting for him.

"Sorry for the wait mom and dad." Soji politely said while positioning himself at the table.

"Seeing that you are here let us all begin to eat." Said Mitsu.

After eating dinner Mitsu probes Soji. "I know this may be a sensitive topic for you and I know that you are a good kid so what happened for you to act like that?"

Remembering how he acted in front of his parents after he just returned home.

"Sorry about that dad it's just..." Thinking about how to phrase it Soji pause.

"It's just what?" Mitsu asks after he pauses.

Remembering most of the things he just read on the net, he continued. "You know I'm a member of my school tennis club right?"

Nodding his head he urges Soji to continue.
