Claude understood everything his father told him about Aura. He is still at the Aura Creation stage because even though he can use his Aura as he wishes due to his understanding of mana and Awakened nature. His Aura is still not completely formed because he can't spread it according to his wish and mana capacity.
" There is a small thing about Aura you should know about. The reason why rankers have more potential in using the Aura is because they can coat their weapons with their Aura. It doesn't do much at the early stage except making the weapon a part of your will, giving you a greater understanding of your weapon and making it like an extra limb. It also enhances attack power by resisting and damaging anything as long as you think of it as your enemy. The higher stages you reach the more you can upgrade your Aura making it stronger." He finally concluded.
Claude understood everything related to Aura his father taught and he decided to train his Aura further as he had already mastered the tier 3 spells of the 6 basic elements.
" Now let's move on to our next topic, Imperial academy. Before telling you the reason why I am teaching you about imperial academy I want to tell you the basics of the imperial academy. Firstly tell me everything you know about the education system of the empire." He said.
" The empire has many small academies which can be accessed through many ways but the only standard rule is that no one can enter the academies before the age of 12. Except for that every academy has varying rules and regulations. There are countless courses but the most famous are :- Ranks, tiers, democracy and business management. " Claude continued.
" There are three great academies of the empire. First, The weapons academy. This academy has one of the best professors of the continent which are high ranking people. In this academy you can choose many of the basic disciplines of the Ranks."
" Second, The magic academy. This academy also has one of the best professors who are high tier people. In this academy you can choose many of the basic disciplines of the Tiers."
" Third and the last :- The Imperial academy. This academy has all the four famous courses and is better than not just every academy in the empire but it's the best in the whole Buratti continent." Claude concluded, he was also a bit confused as to why the best academy of the continent had so little information regarding it.
He had shrugged the matter off at that time because he thought that it might be a specific book which is way more expensive than any book.
" Alright so everything you know is correct and as I expected not much is known about the imperial academy to the outside world." He continued.
" See the reason why the imperial academy is the best on the whole continent is due to it not being controlled by the empire. Neither the emperor nor anyone in the whole Buratti continent can influence the imperial academy. It is a powerhouse of its own."
" The imperial academy has a different system than other academies except for the business management and democracy courses, it is the same as any other academy."
" The real surprise starts from the tier and rank course. Unlike the other academies which is runned by teachers and higher authorities of that academy, imperial academy is runned by both the students and Professor."
" No matter what your race is, as long as you are talented you can become a Professor or student in the imperial academy."
" The system which the imperial academy follows is like this. Every Professor can choose their students while every student can choose their Professor. There is constant competition between students as well as Professors. Going to this academy is also like walking into the lion's den. Survival of the fittest in this academy."
" There is something called the Professors community. They have the 8 Greats or to be precise 8 head master's and they are all awakened and have lived far longer than most of the living beings present in the Buratti continent. They usually don't take students but when they do, the students they selected are the best of the best."
" There is also something called the students ' parliament. They have the 18 Crowns, 9 from tier and 9 from ranks with two head crowns from both the sides. This parliament also has the right to say in making the important decisions for the academy but the final decision is always made by the 8 Greats. These crowns are just titles for the competition between professors and students."
" The reason why not a single discipline or anything regarding the imperial academy is known publically is because they try to hide this system as after knowing how the imperial academy works no one will want to come to it. Only some noble or high hierarchy people know about this system and they also hide it as an advantage to their descendants and they fear the people of the academy too much."
" As every student has different professors with different disciplines, teachings and rules not much is known about the disciplines either. Usually, weaker professors take the leftover or weaker students in groups of tens or twenties. They earn much more than other professors but they don't get any respect across the whole Buratti."
Claude's father waited for his son to catch everything he had told him. After all this system was too complex for even him to completely remember. Even with so much explanation he still had not covered some points but he had covered most of the points which he thinks are important.
" The academy has a set amount of requirements which are needed before the test. You must have mastered at least any of the four elements. After that is the test, it is a competitive test without any written papers or such. You have to participate in the test and earn points given by professors."
" With you having mastery over all of the black magic and white magic elements except holy and abyss. Along with your Aura of Pride and your sword master rank. This is more than enough to get you in the top 100 students but try to earn as many points as possible and don't hide your strength. This academy bullies the weak while fears the strong."
" After the test results you will be asked whether you want to choose based on Professor or discipline, you should answer professor. When they will ask you which professor you should tell them the name I am going to tell you, the name is—"
Before he can continue Claude asked his question :-
" Is this person awakened, you are asking me to become a disciple ?"
" Yes "
"Is he strong ?"
"Hahaha…"
Claude's father started to laugh as if Claude had asked a silly question. After regaining his composure he replied :-
" That person is one of the 8 Greats."
