2 Patience is The Place to be

Patience is the place to be because when you draw, you wanna have patience. People say they aren't good because of this subject we call time. When time gets counted out of the matter, then everything just goes down. You wanna take time and patience. Being an only kid growing up, I grew to have patience because I didn't have to stick around and wait. I got use to being patient as time passed by slowly. Artist can take weeks or even months on pieces. It takes work and dedication. Not only does it take dedication but dedication can tel your story.

When you have dedication your dedicated to do something. You want to finish something that means a lot to you or just a helpful skill you want to study. If drawing isn't your thing, there are other forms of expressing yourself and showing yourself to the world. There is what we call theater, there is also music, painting, and many other media types out there. Everyone has a media that they can enjoy. Some people would say, "That's plain out boring". When they say this, they mean that progression is boring. It takes precise detail and precision to work on a piece you really like. I had a very hard time growing up and I needed a way to cope with the negativity and dark side of the world. I would get tons and tons of hate.

Still do but my point is if you get hate listen to it at first then immediately ignore it. I say this because if you listen you can hear the things you can improve on. Then when you cancel it out you are happy in your own realm. Imagine this. You are sitting at your desk trying to think of a drawing. You get a text saying something negative. Then you just ignore it. It's as easy as that. Once you ignore it, you feel so much better about yourself.

Yes, the hate may be inside of your mind. But you see, that's inside of your mind and not what your hands say. There are different ways people can perceive you as a person. Keep in mind this is something that you will continue as you grow as an artist. One tip I give people is too draw everyday. It may not be the same thing you draw but draw everyday. It can be as simple as a small sketch of a plant or a house. This is going to build brand technique and help you become more in depth with your drawings. It's going to make you feel connected.

My style grew toward Graffiti and Japanese because they are styles of free choice and will. You may say you don't have your own style but if you just draw everyday for at least 10-15 minutes you are going to find interest in things you like. Find interests in things that you like to draw. It's a long process but every artist out there has been on the same journey.
