I am now an 8 year old brat and after training under my father's tutelage, I inherited the same temperament my father had when he is in the kitchen, heck, they even gave me a title, "Sleeping Ogre" due to me being quiet but when something bad happens I subconsciously released an insurmountable pressure which scared the crap out of the kitchen crew, it is the trait of the blood of a Pendragon, if Nakiri's have the God Tongue bloodline, Pendragons have one too, "The hero's descent", a domineering bloodline where you are supposed to follow every single order without fail and kneel down in the presence of it.

Anyway the main Restaurant is in England where the royal family resides and is my next journey because I learned all the foundational skills I need in the branch 'Avalon' here in Japan, and when I asked father that I stumbled upon a wall he looked at me in the eye and asked me if I want to go with him to England to the main branch of 'Avalon' for at least 5 more years and bring me back home so mother can teach me how to manage a business empire which I am glad to do so but felt reluctant because I'm gonna miss mother and my friends back home.

*School*

I was deep in thought when Raku suddenly flicked me because I didn't hear that the bell rang.

Raku: Something happened buddy?

Vali: ...

Raku: C'mon treat me as a brother will ya? What happened?

Vali: ...

Raku got pissed and dragged my ear to the cafeteria and meeeeen it hurts like hell.

Raku: So? Gonna tell me or what?

Vali: *sigh* I'm leaving Japan for a few years to train in the main branch after graduation...

Raku: That's not what bothers you isn't it?

Vali: Yeah, I'm more worried about mother, Alice and Erina, especially Erina, she's avoiding me for some reason. I heard from Alice that they mostly fight and its because of Erina's father. I asked my father on what sort of person is Erina's father is and he said to me that because of her love for her wife and because of the curse of Nakiri's which he didn't explain more to me and the person he adored the most was crippled, he turned eccentric and weird and possess weird ideals and I think that's what alienated Erina and clashed with Alice.

Raku: Then what's your plan?

Vali: I don't know bud. I don't have the right to criticize because that's the way her father disciplines her, every father has their own ways on how to discipline their child and I just hope that her father still has the value where 'every parent what's best for their child'.

Raku: And how are you gonna deal with Alice? I heard that she's gonna leave as well?

Vali: Yeah, I heard that she's gonna stay with her father for a few years or so as well.

Raku: You know bud? You cared for them too much, I think its time for you to be selfish too. I know that even if you're training with your father you still visited them even when they visited your home less just to check on them. Vali, you have your own path to walk too, you have your own goals too and don't let them hinder your decision. It is gonna be hard but you really need to choose bud, I know you like them and I'm sure you don't know it yet because you're a dumb piece of sh*t with low EQ. And I assure you, you're not gonna be in the dominant position there bud and people will trample you if you don't polish your talent... and your pride as a Pendragon won't allow you to do that. Anyway we still have a few days before graduation so think hard buddy, it is a one of a kind trip for you. Choose wisely.

Vali was stumped, dazed, and confused at his friend's words as he never spoke to him this seriously before. He was pulled out of his daze when he spoke again.

Raku: I know you bud, I know that you have a decision already. You just don't know how to handle and how to break it down to them. Don't be scared bud, challenge it. The Vali I know always charge forward because you're a dumb ass, your brain is in the foot so don't think too much or you'll just hurt them more. Enough of that lets go to my place and play I bought the new game that came out and I'm gonna crush you MWAHAHAHAHA.

Vali was silent all the time and his head is lowered but in his eyes, a glint and realization passed through his pale blue eyes. Determination covered his entire soul and his Pendragon blood boiled and swore to become a better chef that many will look up to. He raised his head with the look to reach the top

Vali: HUUUUUUH?! YOU'LL CRUSH ME? FORGOT ABOUT YOUR DEFEAT ALREADY?! CAN'T EVEN SHAVE 50% OF MY BEST CHARACTER'S HP AND YOU DARE SAY YOU'LL CRUSH ME? Let's go and see if you'll break that record in the new game you bought.

Raku smiled when he saw determination in his eyes. This was his best friend and seeing him pick himself up made him happy as well

Raku: Just you wait you dumbass see how I'll defeat you!!

Vali: What? I even gave you the handicap that I'll use the weakest character and let you shave off 30% of my hp and you still don't win? *pfft*

They both laughed at the same time and went to Raku's home where he smashed Raku at every game they play even in RPG games where he trolls Raku by luring mobs and transferring aggro to him and laughed like a fool at his friend's demise. They played till it was evening and decided to call his mother that he'll have dinner at a friend's place and he specified that its a male friend so that her mother won't bully him when he gets home. And there... he met a noir, in the name of Asahi... but that's a story for another time. fufu~
