66 Fruit valley

After we arrive at the great oak tree that Silvie pointed, we take a turn to north direction and walk again for about quarter an hour before reaching the place that Silvie mentioned before. The valley that exposes in front of us somehow similar to the valley where we take spices before but in this place, grass and weeds grow taller and thicker. The grasses even reach height until our knee which troubles us to see what lies in the ground. If we drop something here, I bet will take a lot of time to find it.

I feel a bit unease with this condition, what if there's dangerous animal hide between those thick and tall grass? I decide to cut to tree branches from a nearby tree and make sticks from it.

"Silvie, take this stick with you"

"What for Ikki? I still able to walk without help from a stick"

"This stick is not to support you to walk but to clear the road ahead of you. Just swing the stick when you about to walk to see if there's animal hiding in the grass. You don't want if a snake suddenly bites your legs, right?"

"Hiiii…yes you right Ikki. Give me that stick, please"

Although refuse for the first time, finally Silvie is wiling to accept that stick. Well, this place seems never been touch by humans so it normal if there're animals lurking in here. Especially, if this valley grows many fruit trees inside.

"Don't walk too far from me Silvie, this valley different from the valley where we take herbs before"

"Yes, Ikki"

I use the stick in my left hand to clear the grass in our way while my right-hand holds the machete to cut any shrubs or bushes that block our way. Walking this way, we start to enter the valley.

In the entrance of the valley, we already presented with a row of mango trees with mangoes fruit hanging on their branches. Some mangoes fruits that already ripe even have bats bites marks on the fruit.

"Mango! Silvie, in my world, that fruit called mango, it has a sweet-sour taste"

I show the fruit to Silvie that walk behind me.

"The taste is good? Can you pick me some Ikki?"

"Of course the taste is good. Although when the fruit still unripe, the taste will a bit sour thou. Ugh, most of that fruits hang on the high branch, I must climb the tree first to get it, Silvie"

"Oh, then forget that Ikki. I don't want something bad to happen when you climb the tree"

"We still can get it when we return thou"

Hearing my words make Silvie's eyes glimmer with joy

"Really? Thank you, Ikki"

"Let's see other parts of this valley first before we taking something here and bring it home Silvie"

"Yes. Let's go"

We continue our walks to the deeper part of this valley. After the mango trees, we presented with rows of oranges trees.

"Wow, it's oranges!"

Since the oranges trees are not too tall, we can pick the oranges fruit rather easy than mangoes. I pick one that already ripe and offers to Silvie

"Silvie, you want some?"

I peel the oranges and offer Silvie to take some. Silvie take one slice and put on her mouth

"Mmm… Sweet! Can we bring some to home Ikki?"

"You like it? Of course, we must take it some for your parents too. Here, take the rest of this oranges and eat it"

Silvie takes the rest of the oranges from my hand and finishes it. We continue our walks into the valley. I start thinking about the valleys I ever have seen before. There's a valley with herbs also there's a valley with clothes material like we saw on our journey back from the beach. And now valley with fruits, it's not natural to have so many fruits gather in one valley like this. What's the secret behind this valley?

After mango and orange, we saw banana trees flock in one part of the valley.

"That fruit called banana, Silvie. It's a good fruit too"

I pick one banana that already ripe and have a yellow color and handed it to Silvie after peeling the skin into the half. Silvie take it and bite the banana fruit

"Mmm… soft texture. Like melt in my mouth…it also has sweetness inside"

Yes, if you hungry, this banana fruit is enough to ease your hunger"

"Can we take the fruit and plant it at home Ikki?"

"This banana can't be cultivated from fruit, Silvie. We must take the stem and plant it on the home if you want to plant a banana tree"

"Is that so?....what a pity. We don't bring a shovel to dig the soil and pick the stem"

"Yeah, too bad. I also want to plant this banana at home too"

"Next time we come here, we must bring shovel Ikki"

"Sure. Let's go to deeper Silvie"

So far when we're adventuring in this valley, we only see birds that fly among the trees in this valley. It seems my worry is just too exaggerating matter.
