71 Cocoa found!

After cleaning up the dishes, fold the blanket and put Silvie's clothes in my backpack, we ready to walk further into the fruit valley. I secretly watch Silvie who wearing my short pant and jacket now. Her long, slender and white legs totally exposed until her thigh, it's really beautiful. I will not be bored to see such view from her.

Since Silvie still a bit traumatized with the snake from before, she walks really close to me. She's even clinging to my arm when we walk in terrain with high grass and dense trees. We venture deeper into the valley and see different kind of fruits grow in a deeper valley. Jackfruit, pineapple, and other fruits grow freely here. I have a thought to bring each kind of fruit back home and make sapling from each fruit seeds. But I need to know the climate around this land first.

"Silvie, how's the climate change in here?"

"Oh, there's not much change in climate here. There's a time when rain falls almost every day and also a time when rain is rarely falling and the weather becomes hot"

I see, so this land has a tropical climate. That's great because I don't need to prepare anything special like thick clothes for the winter season.

"And right now is a time when rain is rarely fall, right?"

"Yes, but when the time of rainy days come, we need to prepare a lot of dry woods to cook. Time like today when rain rarely falls is good to hunt, trade and outdoor activites"

"What people in the village usually do on rainy days?"

"If the rain falls heavily they only stay at home, making something like basket or sewing clothes…or making babies"

When mention the last sentence, Silvie's face become red. Oh well, it's the only entertainment to do when there's nothing to do at outside because of rain.

"And when this time of rainy days will come?"

"Around four or five months later"

That's mean the plan for new settlement and salt making should be finished within 4-5 months. When the rainy season comes there's nothing could do with salt making since the sun will rarely shine all through the day, make the evaporation process to make salt become impossible.

"I hope they plan to make salt and a new village near the beach can be done within this 4-5 months"

"After that, what will you do Ikki?"

"Marry you of course! And when rainy days coming we can start making baby"

"Really?"

"I mean it. Where do you want to live after we marry? In your parent home or in the new village?"

"Mmm…can we make our own home near that lagoon? I'm quite fond of that place"

"Oh? I also thinking to make a house near that lagoon"

"You do? Now I will dream every day for that day to come faster"

"Hahaha…you want to return to that lagoon again huh? But we have a lot of work to do before we can go there"

"I will help with all my might Ikki!"

Although we walk while talking and flirting each other, we also take a look at our surroundings. I don't want the snake incident to happen again. Silvie is the first one who finds what we looking for

"Ikki! Is that the fruit you're looking for? What is that the name was….cocoa?"

Silvie's pointing her index finger on a certain direction. I follow her finger and see many brownish fruits hanging on certain trees.

"For real? It looks like cocoa indeed…let's take a good look then"

I hold Silvie's hand and take her with me approaching the cocoa tree. After I examine the fruit and tree, it is real cocoa fruit.

"Ikki…this is cocoa right?"

"Yes, this is cocoa that I mention before"

"If we take this fruit home, we can make that chocolate again, right?"

Silvie looks at me with excited eyes. My oh my, she's really like that chocolate huh?

"Well….but it needs arduous effort before we can make chocolate from this fruit. We still need other ingredients as well to make chocolate. Maybe it would take a long time before I can make chocolate for you"

"No problem! I can wait until that time because I will always on Ikki's side"

Oh, how sweet is she? I also don't make her disappointed so I take some ripe cocoa fruits and bring it home with us.

"Silvie, maybe we need to come here again and take more fruit with us"

"I'll accompany you, Ikki"

"Let's take some fruits first with us, today and how about explore this valley deeper? I want to know where' s this valley end while we still have time"

"Okay!"

Silvie help me pick some ripe cocoa and put it on my bag before we continue our walk to deeper part of valley.
