65 Adventuring in forest

We already walk about one hour from the village temple but still, we haven't arrived at the place that Silvie told me.

"Are we still far from that place, Silvie?"

"I just come to that place only once, I need to recollect my memory about that place Ikki"

Ugh, please don't say we're lost in this forest, Silvie, because you can't remember the way there. I look at my wristwatch, it's still around ten in the morning. I should not rush because we still have plenty of time before dusk arrives. Although we already walk far enough and long enough, Silvie still not look tired. If it's me, that because sometimes I go to the mountain to search for ingredients. But in Silvie case, maybe she already used to walk in this forest.

"Silvie, we already walk quite far…are you hungry or thirsty?"

"I'm not hungry yet, but I can use some water"

"Okay, let's rest for a while and have a drink"

We take a break under a big tree and I take my water bottle from my backpack. I offer Silvie to drink first and she gladly accepts it. Watching her drink directly from the bottle and how she gulp the water down to her throat make a quite exotic view. Sweats in her forehead give a refreshing image of an active girl. After finished half of bottle content, she returned the bottle to me.

"Thanks, Ikki…that's really refreshing"

"No problem"

I also take some sips from the bottle. I no longer care with term indirect kiss because I already kiss with her many times. So what with the indirect kiss? I just hope she does not suddenly stop in the middle of our trip for a pee. It would be troublesome if there's no water to clean up in a nearby place.

"Can we continue our walk, Silvie?"

"Yes! Let's go…and tell me more about your country Ikki"

"Okay…but don't let my story distract your sight, I don't want to get lost in this forest, Silvie"

"Hahaha…I won't, even if we lost I'm not scared because I'm with you, Ikki"

"Yeah? But I already promised your father to take care of you and I really don't want us to get lost here"

"I understand Ikki… don't worry I will keep my eye on the surrounding"

We continue our walk and as her request to tell her about my country, I tell her about our tradition that related to food because I'm good at food. I tell Silvie about Hina Matsuri (Girl's day) festival with the food and drinks that follow the festival. Silvie looks excited listening about that festival, maybe because she's a girl. When I explain to Silvie about mochi that usually served during the festival, suddenly I remember the coconut fruits that chief Harvard pick on our trip to the beach. That coconut fruits still kept in the shelf and I haven't think about using it. I recall about chi-chi dango which popular among the children in Japan, but to make that dish I need rice flour, that's what I don't have right now. When we return later, I must take Silvie to show me where that rice in the kitchen comes from. If I can get the rice source maybe I can make rice flour from it and cultivate it as a staple food

I can see Silvie a bit drooling when I told her about those foods.

"Those foods sound delicious Ikki…can you make those foods in here?"

"Sure, as long as I have the ingredient. You know, most of those foods made by using rice that you use to feed chicken"

"Aaaahh…Ikki! You're teasing me again. If I know that rice can be eaten by human I would not feed it to chicken"

"Hahaha…now you know about that. Are we close to our destination yet, Silvie?"

We already walk for another half an hour but we haven't reached our destination.

."Almost Ikki….according to my memory, after we pass that big oak tree there, we take a turn to the north and walk for a while again before we reach that place"

Silvie's pointing at a big oak tree that stands tall in the middle of forest. That tree is quite catching eyes and easy to set as the landmark.

"Great….at least we are not lost in this forest"

"Ikki…you think I'm easy to forget person, huh?"

Silvie pouting her mouth which makes her look cute.

"Hahaha, that's not what I mean…you only visit that place once, but if you still remember the way that's mean you have a good memory"

"Um, my memory is something I can proud of. You know Ikki, I must remember many herbs that my mother told me about its use for medicine. If I don't have good memory, how can I remember many herbs with its usage on my head"

"Hmm…good. I also need to learn it from you"

"I will become a strict teacher for Ikki"

"Oh no…please become a nice and beautiful teacher for me, teacher Silvie"

"On one condition"

"What is that?"

"You must make me delicious food every day"

"Deal!"

We're laughing together after we make this deal. Cooking delicious food is not hard for me, instead of knowledge about this world medicine maybe will give benefit to me. Although I don't want to get sick, if suddenly I get sick at least I know how to cure my sickness.
