2 Feeling Like an Old Hag/ Familiarity?

"UGH, That was EXHAUSTING!!!!" Nina let out a scream while panting."Why did it take so long?" Nina questioned her system, *The reason for that is because is because you had no skills involving survival at all. In fact you had no skills whatsoever, not even squishing bugs* the system replied. 'Is it just me but I'm pretty sure it sounded disdainful just now' Nina pondered before throwing her wondering in the back of her mind. "Anyway what do I do here?" *.....Survive* the system replied in a calm relaxed manner. "....WHAT DO YOU MEAN SURVIVE!? WHAT TYPE OF WORLD IS THIS!? ARE THERE DINOSAURS HERE!?" Nina yelled at the top of her lungs, shouting like a mad woman towards the system.

*As I mentioned before this is a zombie world...you need to be more observant and have a greater memory in order to survive. After all, only the rule of the jungle goes* the system replied to Nina's stupid question yet again but this time it seemed as if she could imagine the system grinning evilly.

'Nah,it's most definitely my imagination, I was known for not being the most logical and smartest in my class'(she's the stupidest basically....in a nicer way she's not the brightest)

"Okay I understand that but.....Am I ready for that? What if I die here? I don't wanna die...not again" i think the system could tell I was quite upset because its voice changed from cold to a warm soothing voice, albeit it still having a cold voice, the words it voiced out sounded so gentle.....like a mother's voice.(....how tf does that work?)

*~sigh~ I understand your dilemma, have you forgotten that I too am new at this? Although not as scared or preoccupied as you, I am still new at this and not as knowledgeable but I will,You hear me? I'll get wiser, I'll get stronger, I'll PROTECT you*

I'm not sure why but I felt a fuzzy feeling inside, something I haven't felt for 2 years. It feels...nice.

I showed a bright smile towards the system( btw the system is a panel not a person. But who knows, maybe in the future the system will evolve:)....also don't worry Nina will name the system after 2 chapters;p).

*.....anyway I think you should start running* the system changed to its cool voice again but all I could think of was "why?"

*.....there's a horde running to you* the system answered to me...wait what? I turned around and I couldn't see anything, no I COULD see something. It is like little dots growing bigger and bigger while shaking.....that's when I snapped out of it and yelled one word,"SHIT!" I started madly running forward, not knowing where I am going.

"Shit shit shit shit SHIT! Why here of all places" with my fear keeping my adrenaline pumping I ran faster and faster. No way will I slow down. I didn't stop for the world even if I saw a zombified bear ahead.....wait.....a bear?

I squinted my eyes and yes, a bear, a zombified one "ARE YOU SERIOUS!? MY GOD!" I screamed. I thought 'now imma have to change directions, this is bull'. Ah after crazily running for some time I felt my adrenaline declining, uh-oh that's not good .

"Sys-sys-system! Where do I go!?" I couldn't talk properly and I think that was a sign for me to just keep running so I did just that

*run to your left, there's an abandoned town there* the system replied, I did just as the system said and ran to my left and after an hour of running I could see something in the distance which I'm pretty sure were houses.

'Yes yes yes! Finally' I looked back and the bear was nowhere in sight but I could still see some tiny and some big dots so I'm pretty sure I was still being chased by a horde. After getting to the town I asked the system which is best for hiding and the system said it was the house of the mayor. I ran around till I could find it

6 minutes later

'Bingo' I found it and I must say.....not what I was expecting.....the house is so small it looks like the blue public potty thing where people poop and pee(forgot what it's called sorry) at. 'This doesn't look like a mayor's house, it looks like it's breaking apart...it looks poorly built and can fall apart at anytime...whatever if the system says go in then that's what I will do(I thought dirty in this part lol) I went in an immediately something caught my eye. It looked like buttons. No not Buttons buttons more like elevator buttons I got closer and hesitated but the system said to press it so I wondered that it must be safe...right? As soon as I pressed it the wall opened up and the interior is what almost everyone expected the future to look like back then(people in the 1900's and down, heck even I thought in 2012 that we would have flying cars soo🌝) I got in and pressed the only working number...13

"...shit" I muttered before feeling myself fall.

After what felt like 20 minutes of falling the "doors" opened and i felt strange like I've been here before
