178 Chapter 165: An Important Meeting Part 1

Immediately after vanishing from Gwen's room, Arias reappeared in the lounge area, standing at the front of the large television so he could easily look at everyone once they arrive. "Zero, tell everyone that I'm calling for a meeting right this instant." Arias muttered and almost immediately his message was delivered by Zero who announced it to everyone in the tower.

"A meeting? Interesting." The first to arrive was Àpeiro who appeared out of nowhere and was casually seated on a lone recliner like she was always there.

Before Arias could comment on her presence a vicious burst of speed erupted in the room as Nearíthea made her appearance. "Mom how could leave me!?" She asked feeling betrayed as Àpeiro had vanished even before the news was delivered. "Priorities dear." She replied before patting the space next to her for her pouting daughter to sit.

"Well it isn't even necessary for you two to attend but carry on." Arias shrugged in their direction and waited as everyone began to arrive one after another.

It didn't take long for the entire Leviathan organization to be present on the scene. In total they were thirty individuals present in the room.

Before the meeting could begin, Rose looked in Slade's direction with visible disgust before asking. "What the hell are you wearing?"

"Hmm? Oh these are speedos, I was in the middle of some yoga. The person you should be looking at is Caitlyn." Slade redirected the attention to Caitlyn who wore a simple room and had a beauty mask on her face with some cucumbers. "You don't understand women Slade, this is for my beauty now buzz off."

"Fine to each their own, I just thought as Ivy's friend you wouldn't cut her people and use them for beauty treatment. That's cold girl but I guess they don't call you Killer Frost for nothing." Slade shrugged causing Caitlyn to quickly remove the cucumbers from her eyes and look at Ivy apologetically. "Fuck, Ivy I'm sorry I just found it in the fridge."

"It's fine, plants naturally give people fruit and medicine. What I'm against is destroying plants for your needs so you're fine, I know you care about my beliefs unlike some people." Ivy replied with a small smile before glaring at Slade.

However before he could answer Arias finally spoke up. "You two can argue about intricacies of plants and meat after the meeting, for now be quiet while I speak." Arias said casually causing Ivy to shut up from fear while Slade remained grinning.

"In the past I had announced that I would be observing you all to see those who truly went far and beyond for the organization and carried deep dedication. I didn't just observe your strengths but also your weaknesses so as to see what your future would be in this organization."

"The organization will only continue to grow from here and the individuals I'll recruit will only continue to have more potential, this means the top positions will be limited. Thus today I'll be reorganizing your current positions and assigning you new ones for those with none, do you understand?" Arias asked with a brow raised as many had now grown anxious.

Slade however nodded without a shred of worry. "I've seen enough CEO dramas to know when someone is getting fired and promoted, fingers crossed fellas." Slade advised causing many to glare at him as his words caused them to worry greatly. "More or less." To their surprise Arias agreed with his example causing those who hadn't done anything of note to grow nervous.

Would they be replaced? Let go? or worse, the anxiety from not knowing only made them more anxious with each passing moment.

"First of all I do not grant special titles out in Leviathan because to me, outside of Àpeiro all of you are equal in authority. This is because you have no greater authority against one another but only on those outside this main building, the only thing you should have for one another is trust and respect as members who have managed to catch the eye of a being greater than god himself." Àpeiro couldn't help but smile when Arias spoke with dominance.

It's only natural she be special but it was still quite nice to hear out loud. In translation what she heard was more along the lines of "Àpeiro is the only one that matters to me, the rest of you monkeys should just do your jobs and not disturb us."

"If you're unhappy with the positions I assign then work hard to prove to me that you belong elsewhere. With that said I'll begin, starting with Caitlyn and Ivy." Arias spoke before looking in the direction of the two, his growing only wider.

The two didn't say anything and waited for him to speak. "Lately Dr. Veritas's workload has become quite immense, she is the sole genius behind why this floating city functions so seamlessly. If we're talking contribution alone no one even comes close to her." Arias revealed causing who stood with her tablet in the corner to blush furiously while avoiding the many gazes on her.

Arias continued. "This from now on you two who both have considerable achievements in your respective fields of science will now act as her lab technician because from this forward she is Leviathan's Chief Scientist. Excel at your duties and you three will become the greatest minds in existence." Arias finished off with this causing their once worried expressions to turn into confident grins.

Neither of them had diverted from their original passions by choice but because of the circumstances, so to be given this chance was something they wouldn't take for granted.

"Moving onto Rose and Katanna, you're both exceptional combatants with incredible experience to match however due to your lack of abilities outside this you are greatly limited. Unlike Slade who could fight heroes above his tier quite well you two lack that and so it is a waste to have you in the task force." When Arias revealed this it was like cold water was poured on Rose, she had long been expecting something like this ever since Kara was given godly abilities along with her father.

Katanna however remained expressionless as she would carry out whatever duty was given to her.

"So with this in mind you'll be shifted from task force members to instructors, replacing Starfire and Blackfire who in turn will inherit your positions. They are the opposite of you in that they have incredible power but lack the combative elegance you two possess. What's more Starfire lacked the mentality to train others as she was too soft, you two have both received strict mentorship already have all the tools necessary to make you excel in this." This news came rather surprising to the two sisters who didn't know wether this was a good or bad thing, regardless Starfire was quick to kowtow towards Arias and thank him.

"That said another person unfit for instructing is Harley who will return to the task force, thus making the new task force consist of her, Starfire, Blackfire, Banshee and Slade as the leader still. Any objections so far?" Arias asked but received no complaints.

When one thought about it his assignments were on point given the current standings of everyone.

"Good moving on.."
