"A disease you say...?"

"No...no, I don't mean it that way..." The Secretary quickly explained in a panicked manner as the bullets now faced him and his men.

"Think about this...if you kill me, you'll become among the most wanted men on the planet, you'll only prove me right!" The Secretary added in a shaky voice but Magneto wasn't moved.

"The fact I already attempted to kill is enough to make me wanted. Like I thought, speaking with you is simply a waste of my time." Magneto declared before flicking his finger.

As he did so, the bullets launched from where they hovered and shot towards the Secretary and his men. In a single instant, their bodies were shot through with many bullets instantly killing them all. The only person left was the man with glasses dressed in a lab coat who looked at Magneto with complete fear.

"Where is he?" Magneto asked in a calm tone as he slowly hovered towards the man.

"I..I don't know what you mean, please don't kill me" The man desperately pleaded but Magneto only let out a sigh.

"Then you are of no use keeping alive" Magneto expressed as he flicked his finger and one bullet shot through the man's leg.

"Argh!" The man let out a pained groan and held his leg tightly while gritting his teeth.

"I'll ask you again, where is the boy?" Magneto asked as one bullet began hovering mere centimeters away from the man's head.

"I can get him to tell us."

Magneto's interrogation was cut short when a group of individuals appeared behind him.

"Be my guest Scarlet" Magneto replied to one of the 4 individuals in costumes who had just arrived.

A woman dressed in a red and black attire stepped forward and stretched out her hand towards the injured man in the lab coat.

"Tell us where the boy is" She asked in an echoey voice as the hand she stretched out gave off a crimson glow.

"The boy...he is 4 levels underground in a secure room. The code is 45tzu but you need my fingerprint and retina to be scanned as well..." The man's eyes also began to glow a crimson red as he gave away the information he was asked for.

"Smh, is that all? Leave the rest to me." Another individual spoke out in an arrogant tone before walking pass the woman addressed as Scarlet.

He walked over towards the desperate looking man and suddenly brought his hand to the man's face before yanking out one of his eyes.

"Gahh!" The man let out a pained scream but the arrogant individual only smiled and held him down before breaking off a finger.

"Pyro, that wasn't necessary. I could have easily shifted into him." Another individual expressed with a frown on her face but Pyro simply shrugged.

"Whatever you say Mystique. Kind of ironic coming from someone who kills for money, don't you agree QuickSilver?" Pyro smiled as asked the only individual who was yet to say anything.

"Enough chatting, we have what we need so let's proceed." Magneto cut in and instructed before hovering away.

After getting past the few remaining guards and security measures, Magneto and his group arrived in front of a large white door.

"Pyro." Magneto spoke out and Pyro stepped forward before typing in the code and using the finger and eye he had gotten. What followed was a ping and bright green light appearing on top of the door.

Pyro showed a smile and immediately opened the door but what was inside caused everyone aside from Magneto to look slightly confused.

A pale and weak looking child dressed in white was seated in the corner of the all white room everyone had just come into.

"Is this the secret weapon you said they're going to use to wipe out mutant kind? What a joke, let's just end him and be done with it...Hah!" Pyro declared in an impatient manner before stretching his hand forward. But much to his surprise, nothing happened when he did this.

"That joke is a mutant capable of neutralizing other mutant's abilities, no matter how strong those abilities may be. He's the feature behind the vaccines being developed to use against us" Magneto quickly explained before taking out a pistol and aiming it at the child.

"That's why this child cannot be allowed to stay alive" Magneto announced before firing the gun.

However, just as the bullet got close to the child, it stopped. Before anyone could ask what was happening, a voice resounded from behind.

"That won't be necessary Magneto"

His voice made one's bones tremble, his aura made it hard to even breath and his gaze was fear inducing.

"Mr. Adriel..." Magneto stated in a slightly surprised tone. The rest of his group simply looked on as he walked past them and over to the boy.

"The boy is only a danger to mutants if he keeps his abilities. Drain." Kel walked over to the boy and placed a hand on his shoulder before a bright glow appeared on his hand and lasted momentarily before fading.

Once the glow faded, the boy collapsed to the floor but was still breathing.

"That should be all now, yes?" Arias turned to Magneto and asked in a casual manner.

"Yes...that's even better. Having the boy's power in our hands is much more beneficial. While you're here, allow me to introduce some of my group's best members."

"The fiery looking boy goes by the name Pyro, you've already met the lovely lady Mystique, the quiet pair over there go by QuickSilver and Scarlet Witch. They are the core members of the Brotherhood of Mutants." Magneto proudly announced but Arias didn't seem to pay it much mind.

"I see. Well, I think I'm done here so I'll be taking my leave." Arias kept his words short and instantly disappeared from the scene.

"He's even more intimidating in person..." Pyro ended the silence that had filled the room with his remark. Magneto however paid no mind to it and gestured they carry on.

"We're done here."
