1 Not a chapter, a brief overview

This may feel like a chapter but it isn't it's a story-like introduction to the Gold family's appearance in this world.

Bruce Wayne is known as the Son of Gotham due to his family, which caused people to refer to Kristofer as the Second Son.

Gold Industries have made leaps and bounds in the world of entertainment and security.

With an annual revenue of $28 billion, they have many eyes on them, the difference is that the Wayne family only owns 51% of their own company, while Gold has the complete shares of theirs.

Despite the rivalry between the two companies, the families of Wayne and Gold have been friends for generations.

As Gregory Gold passes away due to terminal cancer, the wealth, power, influence, connections, and secrets fall onto his son's shoulders.

Raised with a firm hand and cold emotions, Kristofer was taught to lead by example, show no fear, plan five steps ahead, and show no mercy to his enemies.

Fifteen years ago, the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne happened, Gotham fell into a deep silence.

The Gold family mourned for their friends, and promised to help Bruce should he ever ask for it.

Now, as The Dark Knight terrorizes the criminals during the night, Kristofer sits in his large, luxurious office, overlooking the city below.

As he hears a knock on the door, this is where his story begins.
