Fun Chaos.

"He is finally here, lady Lea!" I heard an old female voice say. My eyes were finally adjusting to the dim light. In front of me was a black and teal room. From the look of it, I would say it was some throne room. The large columns were adorned with neon teal trim. The ceiling was high and covered in black chandeliers with hundreds of tiny teal gems hanging from them.

"Welcome, young one, to the black palace. I am Lea Goddess Chaos and disorder." A tall woman in a skin-tight black dress said. Her long platinum blonde hair was tied in a tight ponytail. I couldn't say the woman was beautiful because it wouldn't do this woman justice. Words like beautiful or elegant wouldn't be enough to describe this masterpiece of flesh. I found it hard to even look at her in her big red eyes. Her smooth, light blue skin was free of any blemishes. Her body was pure perfection with curves I could trace for hours with my eyes. Then it hit me. (Did she say, Lady Lea, the Goddess?) I thought to myself as I quickly put my head down. I was not fit to gaze at such a magnificent figure.

Looking down gave me another shock. I was able to see my body, well, the lack thereof. I could see the floor straight through my arms. There was a short yellow tail where my legs should have been. (Am I a ghost? I did just die, so I probably am a ghost.) I thought to myself in wonder. I was now a ghost standing or, in my case, floating in front of a gorgeous Goddess. If I had a brain, I wanted it to shut down. I was being hit with too much information all at once.

"Yes, I am a real God here in the flesh, and you are not a ghost but a soul. I really don't have time to explain everything. My follower kind of broke the rules by bringing you here." Lea said her face was calm and stoic, but her words came quick and a little playful. (Wait, did she just read my mind?) I asked, feeling a bit stupid. If she was a God reading, my mind would probably child's play to her.

"I am honored to even be in the same room as you, my lady, but I'll do not understand. Why am I here? I asked in confusion. I had served the church of Lora. The Goddess of peace and order. The lady Lea is said to be the Goddess of Chaos. They have been mortal enemies since the beginning of time.

She couldn't possibly bring me here to congratulate me on a job well done. I had slaughtered many of her followers. The thought filled me with despair. I may not have been in control, but the blood was still on my hands. As a Paladin, I had caused much death and destruction.

"Hold your head up high young one; If anyone is to blame for the death on your hands, it is my sister." The Goddess announced with a bit of pout on her face. It made her pale face look sort of childish and cute.

"My lady, with all due respect, this soul is the enemy. An agent of order. We should get rid of him immediately." An old voice announced loudly. It was my first time seeing the people around me. I was to focus on the Goddess herself even to notice them. There were about 50 people all standing on the opposite side of the throne room. They all wore black robes covering their faces from view.

"Silence!" The moment the Goddess uttered the word, the room went quiet once again. My new ghostly body shivered under her pressure. Lady Lea was intimidating. She oozed power and grace. I had a feeling she could kill me just by blinking. (It's a good thing I'm already dead.) I thought to myself in jest, but a little piece of me was saddened by my joke.

"It is alright, my child death is the natural order of things. In your case, death is just the beginning. That is if you accept my offer." The Goddess said. I started to ask about the offer, but she cut me off.

"I offer you the chance to become an agent of chaos and the chance to become a God." The Goddess announced nonchalantly. This time the room erupted into chatter. Mostly feminine voices, but I could pick out a few male ones.

"But my Lady, he is a seed of order. We would just be given the enemy a powerful tool. One of the Robed figures close to the Goddess argued. Many others chimed in, all repeating the same thing as the first. Some of them even called me a filthy soul. (There is no reason to resort to name-calling?) I thought to myself. I didn't dare voice my own opinion openly. The robed figures also radiated power, not as strong as lady Lea but still enough to know they were no pushovers.

The Goddess of Choas was known as a trickster. Usual tricking her followers into chaotic situations with them being none the wiser. I had to be careful of accepting her deal.

"All of you listen. The forces of order are up to something. Have you noticed the changes?" My sister, the Goddess of Order, has left her throne Vacant. Her followers are without guidance. They blame us for her disappearance and are wreaking havoc over the universal. In fact, some have begun to act. The Goddess said as she nodded to me.

She must mean the invasion I was a part of. I know I did the wrong hell I had helped topple nations, but I wasn't the one in control. I was just their puppet, a tool to be used and discarded. I couldn't even speak for myself.

"Look how that turned out. Now we have even lost a world both the followers of Chaos and order decimated. With my sister away from her throne. The beleviers of peace and order have resorted to dark means. That's why I am taking this opportunity. You are a special young one." The Goddess said to me. (She can't mean me, can she, there is probably some mistake.) I thought to myself. I was about to refuse her offer. Although becoming a God didn't pique my interests. To me, it just sounded like a lot of fighting for a cause I knew nothing about, and I served the side of order before only because the church forced me to do so.

On the other hand, if I accepted Lady Lea's deal. I may just be trading one master for another. Also, Becoming a God was just going to be a lot of work. I was secretly hoping to get a nice relaxing life for my next go-around. Maybe the son of a farmer or carpenter, in a place untouched by war.

"Before you reject my offer, know that you'll have no choice but to work for my sister's forces. It is just your destiny. I offer you a chance to change that destiny." The Goddess explained, leaning forward on her throne with her hands on her chin. I couldn't understand everything she was telling me.

(Does she mean I'll be forced to work for the forces of order? So, if I refuse her offer, I will be forced to fight for the other side again? (On the other hand, who's to say I won't be her puppet?) I thought and instantly regretted it. The Goddess had made it pretty clear that she could read my mind.

"Worry not. If you were to accept, I vow to never control your mind or body. You will have free will. You could very well accept my offer and do nothing if you so wish. I simply want to change your nature, from a seed of order to an agent of Chaos." The Goddess said, trying to sell me on her offer. I knew what she was saying was probably untrue. There's no way she would give me the ability to become a God and free will. It sounded too good to be the whole truth. There has to be a catch.

"I will be honest with you. By helping you, I will also help myself. If you allow me to change your nature from orderly to chaotic, I will be taking away a potentially powerful enemy in the future." Lea said, a slight smile on my face. (So, that's how it is.) I thought starting to understand my situation better.

"If I accept, will I have to fight?" I ask softly. I needed her word that I would be a mindless puppet again.

"I give you my word as the Goddess of chaos and as an Elder God, that I won't force you to fight." After the Goddess spoke, I felt my soul shiver before starting to glow. Then as quickly as it began, it was over. I felt different somehow, but I didn't know-how.

"My lady!"

"Elder Goddess!"

The robed figures all began to shout angrily. I didn't know what the big deal was, but how everyone acted put me on edge. I got more than my fair share of evil looks. I couldn't see their faces, but somehow I knew they didn't have any smiles on under those black hoods.

"Silence! Young one, I have given you an oath, one I cannot break or else my life will become forfeit. I hope this is enough to earn your trust." The Goddess exclaimed. (The lady would go to such lengths to prove herself.) I thought with a genuine interest in the offer for the first time.

"I'll accept your offer, but not to be some God. I want a nice and peaceful life. I've had my fill of death and battle to last me millennium." I said, looking the Goddess in her beautiful eyes. I could swear they were sparkling like stars in the night sky. I noticed a small smile graced her gorgeous face.

"Good, I'm happy you acepted my deal." As she said as a blue portal tore through the space behind me. The sight caught me off guard, and I almost screamed in shock. I'm glad I didn't. It would've been pretty embarrassing in front of all these people.

"There is not much time, young soul. I've already taken up to much already. Once you step into the portal. Your nature will be changed, and you will be reincarnated into your new life." Lady Lea said as she pointed at the portal behind me.

(A new life, huh? Anything better than the old one.) I thought as I stepped forward. I knew the Goddess wasn't going to tell me what type of life I had in store. But she promised she wouldn't make me fight so. It shouldn't be too bad.

" Welcome to the dark side, young soul. Go forth and bring fun chaos!" The Goddess said just before I entered the portal. Light encompasses me, and I felt my consciousness fade away. My last thought was a prayer for a comfortable new life.
