17 Chapter 17

We went up a few floors and down several hall ways, this school is seriously huge, how many students attend this school that it has to be this big. We finally went into one of the classrooms, I entered behind her and noticed that the classroom was quiet large but there weren't many students, not to mention every desk was huge. I followed the teacher to the front of the class by the boards and whispered to her "which seat is mine?"

She turned to me and said "first we will have the other student take there seat, then I'll introduce you to the class and finally you can take your seat at any of the empty desks in the class." She clapped loudly at the class while shouting "All right everyone settle down and take your seats." The class quickly settled into there seats and all eyes were on me, the one student in the classroom not sitting in a seat. "Today we have a new student joining us, I'll let her introduce herself." She then turned her gaze from the class on to me.

"Hi, my name is Maya. Nice to meet you all!" I said in a low tone. I'm not sure if I was supposed to say more then that seeing as how the teacher looked at me for a little while before telling me to pick any seat I liked in the class. I quickly glanced around the class room to find three empty seats, I felt I was taking a little to long so I hurried to the seat in the second row next to the window.

There were girls in the seats behind me and next to me, and then a guy in the seat in front of me. When class had ended, before I had a chance to say anything to the people around me they had already hurried off to there friends, I guess I shouldn't really expect to make friends this year. I'm to late into the year, everybody has already found and formed there social group and wont search for another friend. I guess I'll just head to my classes and on my break I'll go see if there are any clubs I can join, I may be able to make a friend there if I'm lucky.
