He's the Queen

Vad's Point of View

"Today is your first day in school. Don't forget what we've practiced. If you do something that I don't usually do, we're done," Kylo said.

She stood at the door of my room, looking at me while I was fixing myself in front of the mirror. Geez, these glasses make her look ancient.

"If something bad happens, call me. I bought a new phone since yours was broken," she added.

"Okay, okay. Is this how it feels like to have a Mom? Thank God, I don't have any," I said.

I think she has forgotten that I'm way older than her.

"Treat this as your most dangerous mission. I bet you're not fond of failures," she said.

"You should really stop sounding like my superior because it irritates me. I know what I'm doing so shut your anxiety," I said.

I grabbed my bag and walk past her. I went downstairs and saw her Mom sitting on the couch.

"I'm leaving… Mom," I said.

Her mother looked at me and smiled.

"Goodbye, sweetie. Take care," she said.

I walked out of the house and waited for the school bus. I've thought things through before this day came. I've studied everything from the structure of the school, the administrators, teachers, and staff. I have to be prepared for the unfamiliar. I don't go to a battlefield without gears and weapons. I don't go there to die. I'm not used to stepping into a scene where I have no idea how to handle it. In fact, her bullies were interesting and I know how to take them down. She really thinks that I would sit and do nothing, so pathetic.

From left to right, I swayed my hips as I walk with grace. They were staring at me as I walk across the corridors. That's it, kids. Look at me and be intimidated by my presence. She thinks that I'll walk in shame like her. There's no way. Wherever I go, I'm dominant. She should also learn that. If I were to become a woman, I'll be a woman with honor. Now that I'm literally a woman, I'll walk with a crown on my head.

I entered the classroom and sat on my chair. Everybody was looking at me, but I ignored them. Maybe they sensed that Kylo has changed from a servant to a queen. After a few minutes, three girls entered the room. Here come the elites.

Agatha Parker glanced at me and smirked. These kids were so entitled when they're just clinging to their parent's integrity. She's the daughter of the principal, no wonder she has the courage to step unto others. Jasmine's father is a politician; the cruelty runs through her blood. Rhein was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. They can easily get what they want in a snap. If they can be brutal at such a young age, imagine what they could do in the future. These kinds of people do not deserve to dominate the world. I'm sorry to say this, but a moment from now they'll regret the second our eyes met.

The classes ran smoothly. The elites were active in class. They were like boulders of meteors falling from the sky and killing everything that they land on. With their intelligence, no one would think that they could do any form of immorality. Even though I know the answers, I remained quiescent. I spent my time observing. It's a bother to show-off and compete, they might think they're foolish.

Everyone went out of the room when the bell rang. For the first time, I felt young. I felt like a normal teenager. Back then, I didn't study in a normal school environment or university. I went to a school exclusive for kids who were trained to become agents.

Our school was equipped with high-technology similar to sci-fi movies. We don't need an identification card, because a scanner awaits us in front of the gate. Green laser beams scan our whole body and record the time we're in. There, cutting classes wasn't a trend. We can't jump over the fences because it was heavily guarded with an electric shock that could kill us in no time. We don't use pen and paper, instead, we use holograms.

I hate to admit this, but my classmates were also extraordinary. Yes, I wasn't the only one who was gifted. Shocking, right? We have rooms where we were trained to defend ourselves and to attack the enemy in a thousand ways.

For the weak, it was torture. But for us, it was the rules for survival. Unfortunately, some of us didn't make it. A few died, and the others surrendered. It was survival of the fittest. Our mind games were intoxicating that a few went crazy. Before we graduated from college, we individually invented some gears and machines as a contribution to IIF. In our batch, only five received their diploma.

I went to the cafeteria to check their food. Everything seems ordinary, but expensive. I found an empty table and peacefully munched my food. I licked the spicy sauce on my fingertips like no one's watching. My digestive system was interrupted by three witches who stood in front of me. The whole scenario was so cliché that a grin formed on my lips. They placed their tray on the table and we made eye contact.

"Hello, Kylo," Jasmine said.

"Hi," I replied.

"Your food smells good," Agatha said.

"Obviously," I replied.

"Can I have it?" Agatha asked.

"Are you a beggar or something?" I asked.

Agatha looks surprised or embarrassed perhaps.

"No, I just want to taste it," Agatha replied.

"Then buy yours. That's not my problem," I said.

She raised her brows in annoyance.

"Kylo, my dear. You seem to be rebellious," she said while playing with her long, wavy hair.

It doesn't sound threatening enough for me.

"Rebellious? What makes you say that?"

"You used to obey me."

"Obey? Are you the law?"

She drew her face nearer to mine.

"I thought you already know what I can do?" she whispered.

"I guess I've forgotten. Care to remind me?"

"I can kick you out of this school. I can tell my dad that you bullied me."

I almost laugh at what she's talking about.

"You were the one who's bullying me," I said.

"Well, I can turn the table around. My dad will surely believe me. I will make your remaining high school life a living hell until you go down on your knees and worship me."

I burst into laughter after hearing what she said. How dare you proclaim yourself as an almighty? I can't tolerate this insolence.

"Are you even hearing yourself, huh? Agatha?"

Her face turned red and in a snap, her hand landed on my cheek.

"Did you just slap me?" I said.

"I'll do more than that if you'll continue to embarrass me. Kylo, wake up and know your place."

"You're the one who's putting yourself into embarrassment."

"So you won't stop? I guess I don't have a choice but to teach you a lifelong lesson."

"Really? Sorry, but I'm going to tell your dad about your unruly behavior."

She laughs together with her minions.

"Then do it. No one will believe you," she said.

"I have witnesses. Look around you."

She roamed her eyes to see some students looking at us.

"That won't work. I can shut their mouth. They know I'm the law here. They wouldn't dare."

"Oh? How about that?" I said and pointed the CCTV camera.

Her eyes widened. She didn't saw it coming. She was emotionally driven that she fell right into my trap.

"I'll tell him that you started everything and you provoked me!" she hissed.

"Oh? How about this?" I said and revealed the phone that I was holding for a long time.

"I recorded everything, dear," I said and smirked.

She was taken aback and looks like on the verge of crying.

"Shhh. You're too beautiful to cry, Agatha. Imagine your father's face if he knows what you're doing. I think he's expecting a lot from you. What will happen if he discovers that you're putting a good act to cover your injustices? What will other people say if they find out about this? They'll think that an educator can't even raise his only daughter properly. Your father's reputation will be ruined. Most importantly, he might neglect you. You're such a poor little thing. Be careful, I'm not the person you used to know. Make one more step closer to me, I'll do something unspeakably terrifying to you and your friends," I said.

Without a second thought, she stood up and walked out. Her friends followed her like Santa's reindeers.

"So childish," I whispered to myself.

I never thought that pissing kids would be this fun.

Bullies will continue on bullying others who are weak. They will not stop because they know that you're afraid of them. They think that they're superior and mighty, not until you fight back. If you go against them and let them know that you're not an easy target, they'll back-off. You can't pull a trigger without a bullet. Know your enemy and their weaknesses. Study them, until you get to plot a plan and put the bullet straight to their head. Everyone has a weakness, that is, if you're not me.

Before going home, I stopped by a shop to buy some cosmetics. Her skin needs care, which wasn't in her vocabulary. The problem was, I don't know her skin type. How am I supposed to know? Jesus. Though I am a man, I have my skincare routine. Well, no one banned skin cares for men. We are human too, filled with physical imperfections and needs. We deserve those clay masks too. It's time to stop the stereotyping because proper hygiene is life.

Kylo opened the door when I arrived home. She went upstairs with me. I guess she's too excited to hear the good news. I just redeemed her honor.

"So… how's your first day?" she asked.

"Are you that excited?" I replied.

"I wanted to make sure that you've followed the script," she said while crossing her arms.

"I did. It was a success," I said with a smile.

"Your smile is telling me that something happened, which shouldn't have happened."

"Are you a psychic now? Geez, paranoia is taking over you again."

"It's called instincts."

"Oh? Your instincts were not reliable. By the way, I bought something," I said while showing her the cosmetics.

"What's this?" she asked.

"It's the 21st century, you should know cosmetology by now," I replied.

She rolled her eyes.

"I mean why do you have to buy these? It's a waste of money. I can live without it."

"I can't. Your brain needs treatment too, but I'll let it be as long as it's yours."

"You're acting like you own that body again."

"Technically, it's mine. So you better take good care of my body too. Also, I bought contact lenses. Your glasses irritate me."

"You have a lot of demands in life."

"Excuse me. This isn't for me but for you. As long as I'm using your body, you won't be a disgrace."

"Wow. You care about me now? I'm touched. You have a heart after all."

"Actually, I'm not used to being stupid. Don't take this as an act of care. I only pity you."

"Fine. At least tell me what happened."

"Well, I broke a world record."

"What record?"

"Geez, you're too dumb to understand. Everything's fine. Leave it to me."

"I can undress myself so get out," I said while dragging her out of my room.

I can't imagine myself having a daughter like her. If I were to have a daughter, I will raise her with dignity and pride. I will teach her how to defend herself so no one would dare to touch her. I won't welcome mediocrities in my family. Unfortunately, having a family is beyond impossible for me.
