9 CHAPTER 9: CEO for a cause

Black's POV

"So what do you want? Don't you have something to do, and you decided to storm here and bother the people? " I asked him as soon as we entered my office.

I look at him because he's not answering, just to see him checking me out.

"What is it, pervert?" I asked as soon as I was seated. He gazes at me and smiles foolishly.

"I just wanna see you!" He said and sat on the sofa.

"You just drove me earlier! What are you playing, Daze? I'm freaking busy during my first day, and here you are, being a handful!" I said with annoyance, as I continued doing the paper work.

"Ms. Black. Is that how you treat your client?" He said this with his infamous smirk.

"Geez! Get straight to the point, you jerk! " I said while glaring at him.

"Haha! It is so fun to tease you! Ms.Chief Operating Officer, I have a proposal for you. As the future CEO of Tejada Group Corporation, our company will release a yearly magazine featuring me, of course, and our company. I chose this company to handle that, but in return, you'll be the one who will assist me inbound or outbound." He explained.

"Bet you just decided that when you found out I was working here!" I said with a suspicious look.

"Well, yeah, I am actually looking for a publishing company and it just happened that you worked here," he answered. He's crazy!

"Okay!" I replied, sounding uninterested.

"That's just your reaction? Aren't you surprised that I'm the CEO? That I'm rich?" He said it with a shocked expression, so I gave him a side-eye.

"What do you think of me? Are you illiterate?I am also rich, so it is normal for me to see people like you! " I said and looked at my phone. Someone texted me, I wonder who it is.

"It settled then. Now, you don't have the right to push me away! I have every reason to spend my time with you, my color, " He said with a broad smile.

"Yuck! Better choose your words! I might throw up because of the words coming out from your pervert mouth! Anyway, update me about the project when you plan it, already Mr.Tejada. Now you can leave!" I said seriously.

"Okay, but can I get your number at least so I can contact you about the project." He said and gave me his phone. I shook my head while sarcastically smiling. This guy will any means to flirt.

"Here you go! Even though I know you're just making a move on me! Don't text me useless things. If you do, I'll block you! " I threatened him

"I will my color! I'll go ahead! see you in your unit!" He said, smiling foolishly.

"Go to hell," I hissed, and he just laughed at me. That guy is really getting into my nerves. Sometimes he is funny, but most of the time he's annoying as hell. Haaaay! Why do I have to meet that annoying playboy?

Daze POV

I smile as I walk through the hallway of our company. Everything is going according to my plan.

I accept what my Dad's always offering me. Finally, he got what he wanted. I will now handle our company. It's all because of Black. It's the only way for me to get close to her that she can do nothing but be with me.

Why is that woman so hard to get? I am sure that Black will fall for my charm, by hook or by crook.

When I entered the office, Papa's frown greeted me.

"Where have you been, young man?"

"Arranging some projects, Pa!" I answered

"Project or Girls? Listen! Your position is no longer a joke, Daze! You're the heir of our company and the future CEO. In just a few weeks, you will own it! Be serious! Stop fucking whores and become a better man!Look at the Golden Crown.

Your cousin Dash handled it well. For Pete's sake! He's 2 years younger than you, but look at his achievements!" He retorted.

"Dad, First of all, I used protection. Second, I am happy with my life. Is Dash happy with his life? I do not want my life to be miserable just because I am serious about love. Now Pa, I'm your son, and trust me ...... I will try not to overthrow our company "I said proudly

"Daze! I don't know what to do with you anymore! Should I call your mom to straighten you up? ?" He threatened me, so I smiled.

"It's okay, Go ahead, Dad! Not only will I lose my freedom, but you'll lose yours too?" I reminded him

"Ugh! I don't know why I had a son like you!" He said, exasperatedly.

"You should be thankful, Dad! Your son is too handsome!" I said before he left the office.

I called Dad's secretary to help me out with my plan.

"What's your name?" I asked her as soon as she reached me.

"Sophie Marie, Sir." When I hear the word Marie, I immediately think of Black.Ugh! What is happening to me?

"I'll call you Sophie. You know that Dad will announce that I will inherit the company, right? Can you organize a party this coming April 12? I'll let you handle everything except the magazine that I'm going to be featured in. " I smiled again after saying that, and then she blushed. Aish! " Women are all the same.

I just spend my time memorizing every department we have and its function. This position is a pain in the ass and it annoys me.

I thought of calling Black. Pissing her off makes my day. A few rings before she answered.

"Who's this?" Seriously? Even on the phone, I can imagine her eyebrows are raised right now.

"My color!" I said in a teasing way

"Aish! What a nuisance! What else do you need?" She asked, sounding so pissed.

"April 12th, the magazine should be released," I said.

"Then give all the information about that, you idiot!"

"You're angry again! My secretary is working on it right now. I'll drop by at your office tomorrow. It's a date. "

"It's a meeting!" She said this with annoyance.

"My color, am I that hot to make your blood boil?" I asked her that made her scoff.

"The more you flirt with me, the more I hate you!" she said angrily, so I smiled.

"It's better then. Because the more you hate, the more you love, " I mischievously answered.

"UGH! YOU ARE SO ANNOYING TEJADA!" she shouted so I distanced my phone from my ear.

"See you tomorrow My color!" I said and dropped the call. I looked at my phone and saw my reflection. I'm damn smiling. The heck?

Daryl's POV

"The hell with you Daze? Did you accept Tito's offer just to get closer to Black?" I asked incredulously.

"Tsk! My pride depends on it! I will not let Black ruin my reputation." He said

"Dang! You're wrong! I warned you. Black won't give a damn about love, she only cares about the lust you will feel towards her, so she can hurt your ego, your dick perhaps," I reminded him.

"Don't forget I was the King of Virginator in college! And Black is still a woman. I'll make sure I can get her like other girls, " he said with a smile.

He's crazy. If he only knew how badass that woman was. I once tried hooking up with her but I got rejected, so I ended up with her best friend, who happens to be the same as her attitude. In the end, I was slapped real hard. Since then, I have not approached them.

I saw a familiar guy entering the bar, Jacob, and some of our acquaintances were here. I suddenly remembered the news I heard

"How was Sheriz? Did they really break up? " I asked him and he pointed to Jacob, who is busy drinking now.

"Thanks for reminding me! My fist is itching to punch him!" When he said that, he suddenly rushed to Jacob, so I ran towards them.

"That's for hurting Sheriz!" Daze shouted at Jacob. I pulled Daze to stop him from throwing punches and rampaging. Roy and Dan also held Jacob in case he retaliated, but he just wiped the blood from his lips and looked at Daze.

"Ask her again Daze, Who's really hurting between the two of us?" He said calmly. He sounds so hurt, But knowing Sheriz, she won't do anything that will hurt Jacob. Or maybe I'm wrong?

"I've known Sheriz since we were young, I know how nice and sweet she is. There's no doubt that you're the one that causes her pain! I can't sit back while she's crying all night over some douchebag! " Daze yelled while trying to push me away.

"Chill, bro!" I said and tightened the grip.

"I think you're just dumb enough to not notice that she's nothing more than a pretending bitch!" Jacob was enraged but it seems that he was also in pain. Seriously? What's going on?

"YOU STUPID! MOTHERFUCKER! LET GO OF ME! I'LL TEACH THIS GUY A LESSON!" The bouncer also helped me restrain Daze

"FUCK! Don't act like you're the boyfriend! I should be the one who gets angry and beats you! Thank me because you're still my stupid friend! " Jacob exclaimed before he left the bar. I pulled Daze back to our seat while Roy and Dan followed Jacob.

Geez! We really made a scene!

"Damn it Daze! He's a friend!" I said and offered him a drink so he could at least cool his head.

"Sheriz is also our friend!" He said it seriously while sipping the beer.

"Well yeah, but that's their relationship! You're out of the line! What if Jacob is on the right here?"

"Sheriz is not that kind of woman! He loves that Douche so much! " He just said it and did not speak again.

We were about to leave Daze's Bar when we saw Michelle and a man.

"That is Black's best friend and with a guy. No doubt that she's a bitch too," he commented.

"She's not! No one has planned or won to score with her yet! " I defended.

"How'd you know? Have you tried to get inside their pants?" He asked, and when I did not answer, he just chuckled.

"You can't be sure that they are still virgins! You see, they kiss men as if they were trained! I won't be shocked if they are a little devil in bed!" He commented again before leaving.

I shook my head in confusion. What's with Daze?
