31 CHAPTER 31: STUCK

Black's POV

It was 6 am when I got back to my condo after camping with James. I would have gone back to sleep when someone rang the doorbell. I lazily got up and opened the door without looking at who it was.

"Where have you been?" He asked as soon as I opened the door.

"You don't care, Tejada!" I answered lazily and was about to close it, but he stopped me.

"Oh yes, I care Black! I called you last night, but I couldn't reach you! " He said this in an annoyed tone, as if he had the right to scold me for being unreachable.

"Tsk! Shut up! I don't care what you say! " I tried to close it again when he spoke.

"You don't care? Fine! Even if it's about your best friend, who nearly died and is now in the hospital. I immediately opened the door and tried to stop him from leaving. Everything is confusing. How the hell did she end up in a hospital? What the hell happened? Is it something serious? Why didn't I know about it?
