18 CHAPTER 18: WALK AWAY

Michelle's POV

Another week passed. It's the weekend again, Xander and I have decided to go on a date. Every Saturday and Sunday we stroll around Metro and near provinces only. The only difference now is that we are with Ken with Jamaine. I thought everything between them is not serious but it seems it is more serious than what we assume.

We are now at the Hotel in Pasay, Ken and Jamaine are in the room next to ours. We just waited for them so we could have lunch at the MOA.

"Where are your parents Babe? I haven't met your family yet?" I commented as I hugged him. not that I'm rushing him to introduce me to his fam, I am just curious because I know nothing about them, he doesn't talk about it either.

"Because I'm the only one at home. My parents and my younger brother are in America." He briefly replied. I couldn't see his expression but I feel like he is not comfortable talking about it. Maybe there are some circumstances he's not ready to tell. I let go of the hug and pinch his nose lightly.

"Okay! maybe if we visit or if they visit, we can meet" I said and smile widely.

"You're really beautiful Michelle," He replied suddenly that shocked me a little but I chuckled and bit my lips to suppress the wide smile forming on my lips due to his remarks. Damn, Xander.

He's looking at me intently that I almost drown with his stares, he's slowly closing the gap between us until there is no space left. I closed my eyes and wait for his lips to touch mine. His lips felt hot, we're kissing passionately until he pressed his tongue to make its way inside my mouth. His hands are exploring every inch of my body and I just let him, I gave in like I always do. We continue kissing and touching each other until a buzzer distracts us.

"Fuck!" Xander said while looking at me. He looks disappointed and frustrated that we got interrupted by whoever pressed the doorbell, I smiled at him and ask him to open the door. He hesitated but in the end, he stood up and head to the door. I immediately fix myself before he opened the door.

"What's with the glaring, man?" I heard Ken say as soon as Xander opened the door.

"Nothing, Just wait in the lobby, we'll be there in a sec" Xander replied but annoyance is visible all over his voice.

I didn't hear ken's response, I just heard the door close and Xander goes back to bed. I turned my back on him and looked out the window. He approached me and kissed me on the shoulder up to my neck. As long as I want the sensation I feel, people are waiting on us outside.

"Xander! Let's stop this!" I said.

"Stop what Bhie?" he said with a husky voice while still kissing my neck. I know he's smiling. and damn, I'm liking the feeling he made me feel.

"Don't tease me, Xander!" I said again. He stopped kissing me but his chin was still on my shoulder.

"Don't you like it?" he asked with his sullen tone.

"I know you're pouting so stop that! It's just that, our friends are waiting for us! It would be embarrassing to make them wait just because we're gonna have sex" I said.

"hmmm," He said that made me laugh. what is he? a Kid?

"Be a good boy now, I will reward you later" I said that made him laugh.

"Hahaha, silly, Okay! Go fix yourself, I'll wait downstairs, babe," he said and kissed me on my cheek. He was standing and about to leave when I held his hand.

"I love you," I said and flash a smile.

"I love you too" he replied and smiled back before leaving the room.

I saw them in the lobby so I immediately approached them

"Babe, I'm sorry I need to go, There's an emergency in my house. Come with me, I'll take you home" Xander said as soon as I reached them. My eyebrow furrowed. I want to ask what happened but for some reason, I did not.

"No, it's alright! you can go ahead If it's urgent, you don't have to take me home. Jamaine and Ken are here. I'll be fine" I answered and gave him an encouraging smile.

"You sure? Is it really okay if I go first?" He asked again.

"I'm sure Babe, Just go, I can handle myself" I replied.

"Okay. Ken, Take care of her" He said and Ken nodded at him. He looked at me again and kissed me on my cheek

"Will call you later," he said as he leaves.

When he's out of our sight, I faced Jamaine and Ken.

"You can go now! I can take a cab, later" I said smiling.

"Didn't you hear what Xander said?" Ken asked as his eyebrow creased. He looks pretty annoyed.

"You can come with us, Mich!" Jamaine added. I smiled at them both

"No, I really don't want to! I'll go back to the hotel room and sleep for a couple of hours before I go home, just go on a date you two" I said teasingly.

"silly! It's okay for you to tag along" Jamaine continued.

"Jamaine, I'm fine. I'll just stay at the hotel a little longer. Nothing will harm me. I can go home alone." after a long debate, they lost and no choice but to leave. though they said I can give them a call if I feel like changing my mind which I really doubt will happen.

While I was in the elevator, someone called my phone.

"Mr. Tejada?" I curiously answered. It's the weekend so why is he calling?

(It's weekend so just call me Daze) He answered upon hearing my voice. Wow! he knew it is the weekend and still dare to call.

"Okay... Why are you calling .... Daze?" I asked curiously

(I have something important to give you. Where are you now?) he said that made me curious more

"I'm in Pasay. What will you give me? Can't it wait until Monday?" I asked but he is a persistent fella.

(Great. We're at the MOA now. Where are you in Pasay?)

"Is that so important for you to deliver today?" I asked again

(Yeah, it's important. Text me where you are and we'll be there) he said then hang up. Wow! the audacity of that guy! if he's not a business partner, I'd never answer his calls. I just text him where I am staying and asked him to buy me food because I'm starving, he said he's just 15 minutes away so it's much better to ask him than to ask the room service.

When I got to the room I just turned on the tv and lay down on the bed. 20 minutes later, someone called the hotel phone.

(Good afternoon, This is Nika from Guest services. reception. Ms. Michelle Santos. I just want to ask if you're expecting a visitor?) The person I was talking to asked. It looks like Daze is at the front desk already.

"Yes, If he's Daze Tejada, Let him come up here"

(Okay Ma'am! Thank you, Have a good day) she said the hang-up.

A few minutes later, I heard the doorbell so I immediately opened it and saw the faces of two guys

"Get in Daze ....... And Daryl?" I'm not sure of his name so I felt relieved when he smiled. We go straight to the mini table...

"Jollibee, huh? Touching!" I said sarcastically.

"That's the closest fast food!" Daze replied. I just ignored him and started eating. I feel like they are both looking at me so I look at them.

"Enjoying the scene? Staring is rude!" I jokingly said. I noticed that Daryl immediately looked away while Daze was still looking at me.

"What?" I asked and stopped eating for a moment.

"Nothing! You just remind me of Black" I just winced at what he said. Is he an idiot? He's stating the obvious

"Because we're best friends! Anyway, get down to business, I'll listen while I eat"

"I'm here to give you this!" After he said that, he handed me a gold card. It's an invitation.

"Wow! So, You will be a real CEO! Congratulations!" I commented. it will be held tomorrow evening, but I don't get the rush? He could give it tomorrow or just email it to me. Weird.

"Sadly to say Yes, but that's not the only reason I'm here!" I frowned. I knew it and I think I know where this conversation is going.

"Black's Existence is important. So bring her without telling her that the event is connected to me. She hates me so I'm pretty sure, she's strongly refuse to come if she knows"

"Woah! Are you ordering me or you're asking a favor?" I sarcastically said

"Michelle, Let's consider each other as friends. I've said terrible words to Black and I want to fix it and start over again" he said without even answering my question

"Wait!? Do you like Black? Because if you do, you'll lose. There's already someone special to her." I frankly said but what a determined guy. He didn't even budge.

"So? I'm Daze Tejada!" Wow! The confidence. It almost made me cry. he'll just be disappointed in the end. Black never wavers, especially, This is the first time she encountered a guy that will get her attention. Surely, Tejada already lost before even putting up a fight.

"Are you gonna help me or what?" he impatiently ask

"Sure! But I'll not stop Black to leave if once we arrived at the venue, she finds out that it's your doing. Okay?" I said clearly.

"Deal! I owe you!" He said happily. He's a bachelor, why doesn't he just find a woman who likes him? Weird.

"But in return, Bring me home! I have no car in me" I said.

"I didn't bring my car as well but Daryl did!" I looked at Daryl. Without uttering a word. He smiled instantly.

"Thanks, Daryl! I'll treat you lunch some other time!" I said while getting out of his car. We dropped Daze first.

"Sure!" He answer and smiles. I wave my hands before I enter my house.

"Who's that guy?" I was startled by the voice I heard. I immediately turned to him.

"A friend? I guess. I thought there's an emergency in your house" I said as I approached him

"I ask Ken to accompany you but you refuse! Is it because of that guy? Are you cheating?" I automatically stopped at what he said. my jaw dropped with that statement of his. It's loud and clear, He's accusing me!

"What!? Did you just accuse me? Wow!" I asked in disbelief.

"Because you're doing things that made me accuse you. Who was that?" He asked again with his gritted teeth. he looks pissed but the hell, I'm pissed too. how dare he?

"You're unbelievable! He's just a friend, If you don't believe me, Go ahead. I'm tired, I'm going to sleep" I said and walked out. I was expecting that he'll stop me, that he will apologize but when I looked back, it surprises me, I saw him walking. walking away from me.
