15 CHAPTER 15: Two-Faced Bitch

April 1. They say everything they tell you on that date is not true because it's April fools day. Well for me, It doesn't exist. Today is a big day for our company. Our Magazine has been released. We already gained good feedback. Many clients are already in line. Mich and I decided to treat the employees because they work hard to finish that project flawlessly.
when we finished eating, we decided to go bar hopping though some of them decided to go home due to different reasons which are understandable.

I texted Xander. We are used to texting each other wherever we go. there's no pain in updating my whereabouts to my partner.
I brought my car since Tito has not returned Black's car and Jamaine does not have a car yet.
"Mich, You can go to the coffee shop first? James is there." Black said so I looked at her and smiled.
"What's with the smile?" she asked me while her eyebrows crease
"You like him, don't you?" I teased.
"Just drive, Nosy girl!" She commented so Jamaine laughed.
Jamaine helped me tease Black. I honestly approved of James for Black. Maybe he will soften Black's heart. There's a chemistry between them. I remember their scene at the Bar. They were kissing but I can't see any lust in James' eyes. All I saw was admiration and respect. No doubt he's already attached to her. Actually, James asks for my help. I think he's going to court Black. All I can do is wish him luck.
We arrived at the coffee shop but I was frustrated to see Roxanne. She's not dressed poorly anymore. In fact, She looks bitchy with her Violet tube dress and red lipstick. Uggh! I don't know but I hate her, though I still try my best to be casual to her. I don't want to spoil the night.
"Wow! You look great Rox" Black greeted her.
"Thanks, Black," She said and looked at me, I just flashed a timid smile and ask her to hop in.
James also insisted that he'll drive so I let him be. Black was still sitting in the shotgun seat and I moved to the back seat. I sat beside Roxanne since I got no choice unless I am rude enough to change seats with her.
Roxanne keeps on talking to me but the hell I care. I just try to smile every time she says something but I know she can feel that I'm not interested in everything she saying nor talking to her.
I fished out my phone because someone texted me.

My girlfriend is being sweet. Love you too♥. I'm with my pals. Want me to come over?
I smiled at his reply. He's always like that. Even though he is busy, he will still come to me.
To: Bhie 8:10 pm
No need. I'm okay, Just enjoy there. No monkey business, okay?

I smiled at his reply. I know we're still far from what we called love but I saw his sincerity and loyalty to mine.
We went to an open bar at the seaside. We've been there for almost an hour but I don't pay attention to anything Roxanne is saying.
She's irritating, She's often clingy to James. Though I know they are just friends but it seems like she's flirting with him.
While I'm doing some retouching, someone also entered the bathroom. I rolled my eyes when I saw her.
"Hi Mich" She greeted me but I ignored her And just continued putting on some lipstick
"You're beautiful. But I think this lipstick is more suitable for you. You can have this. It's brand new" She said sweetly. I looked at her reflection and smile.
"No offense but, I don't use cheap products!" I said and flashed a forceful smile.
"Why are you mad at me?" I just stared at her for a second before continuing what I'm doing but I saw her expression. She's glaring at me so I faced her.
"What?" I asked calmly.
"Why are you mad at me? I'm trying my best to befriend you! But every time I try to get close to you, you always push me away, you always make me feel that I do not belong to your group. Why do you hate my presence that much? What is wrong with ------ "I cut her off and gave her my deadly glare. She just pissed me off to that extent.
"I'm already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth! I don't want to talk to you so stop talking coz I don't give a shit! I don't want to be friends with you." I said emphasizing every word. I was about to leave when she spoke again.
"I knew it! You're threatened that I'll snatch Black from you, right?" And that hits me. Am I really threatened? I faced her once again just to see her smirking. She's a two-faced bitch.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not threatened to some trying hard, two-faced bitch! Black hates fake anyway!" with that, I left her.
When I returned to the bar, only Jamaine was at the table and I'm surprised that Ken is there.
"Hey, didn't know you're coming too?" I greeted him with a smile on my face
"Just checking on her!" He said and even winked at me.
"Woah! Are you two dating?" I asked in shock. Ken smiled mischievously while Jamaine bowed but secretly smiled. If it wasn't dark here, I'm sure she's blushing right now.
"Whatever you have. I wished you both the best! Anyway, where's Xander?" I asked
"I don't know. Maybe at their house?" he said.
"I thought you're with him too?" I asked in astonishment
"Maybe he's with the others! Want me to call them?" He asked which I refused
"No need. I'll call Xander later. Where are Black and James?"
"They said they'll walk around to get some fresh air" Jamaine replied.
I smiled upon hearing that. Will he make a move now? I immediately lost my smile when Roxanne returned. She's smiling from ear to ear.
Oh damn! I hate her plasticity. I decided to excuse myself and walk around too.
I sat at the stone near the seaside and feel the sea breeze. I sighed, What Roxanne said earlier kept repeating in my head, I ended up dialing Xander's number to distract myself.
"Where are you?" I asked
(Somewhere in Pasay, Why Bhie?)
"You ask me if I want you to come over right?"
(Yeah.)
"I know that you're with your friends, but I was just thinking if you want to come over now?"
(Sure. Been waiting for your invitation) he answered that made me smile.
"Okay then, I'll wait for you at the seaside."
(I'm coming Bhie) then he hangs up

It only took him almost 15 minutes to arrive with his companion of course.
Xander approached me hugs me. He even planted a kiss on my head.
"Hi, Mich! Where's Black?" Kim asks as soon as he reached me
"Somewhere with someone!" I frankly said. He acted hurt by putting his hand on his heart so Xander and I laughed.
Xander held my hand and play with it.
"Aish! It's time to leave! I'm getting jealous of you two!" He complained and made a face.
"Ahaha! Don't go home, Ken's at the open bar!" I stopped him.
"What is Ken doing there?"
"What is Ken doing there?" They ask at the same time.
"Girlfriend" I replied.
"Damn! I'm being left behind! Let's go!" Xander and I laughed even more at Kim.
"life's unfair if you're not handsome" Xander shouted as Kim walks towards the bar
"Fuck you! dude! I'm more handsome than you" Kim also shouted and show his dirty finger. I just smiled at them.
"He's really your best friend," I commented
"Ahaha! Yeah, and we'll always have each other's back!" he answered as he helped me climb the low wall where we could sit and have a better view of the sea.
He sat behind me so he can still hug me from the back. I hold his hands and squeeze them. the wind is giving me chills, I felt that he hugged me tighter that made me lean on his chest as he kept kissing my head.
"What happened back there? not enjoying the place?" he asked.
"No! the place is great, I just got annoyed because of the woman that is with us. She's a two-faced bitch! acts nicely as a saint in front of Black, but when I talked to her earlier, she's cunning. I know she has a motive why she's approaching Black. She's up to some ----- " I stopped when he continuously coughed
"My throat is itchy!" he said while coughing
"Buy some water first," I told him.
"Nah! Let's go to the open bar. I'll make you dance when your annoyance disappears" I smiled at what he said. This guy knows the right time to do sweet things.
"Yeah, sure! but I can't promise I'll play nice with that girl around" I answered while we stood up"
"I'll back you up! He answered and kissed me." we smiled at each other and kissed again before heading back to the bar.
