13 Coat Rack

Every time the blonde girl tried to lift a shirt off the clothing rack, the pestering fairy would sit on her hand shaking her head in a disapproving fashion.

"You have to be joking!" Tiera said as she saw the human begin to become angry, yet the little friend was not scared in any way. "This is not cute at all!"

"Tiera! I want to go home now! I've been here for an hour and have only bought three shirts you've approved of." Ally sighed moving her arm away from the rack feeling discourage about their quick adventure to the mall.

The fairy shrugged flying away to a different rack inspecting more pieces of clothing that didn't seem to interest the blonde human girl.

Instead, Ally moved her attention to the corner of the store noticing a black haired girl who was stopped next to another clothing rack filled with coats.

The girl was wearing all black with matching lipstick which made her stand out in the crowd of people.

Just as she saw the interesting girl pull away from the coats, the black haired girl looked up directly into the blue eyes of Alicia staring intently.

"I found some!" Tiera exclaimed next to Ally's ear trying to tug her hair into the direction of the approved clothing. But Ally's eyes noticed how the dark haired girl glanced at the fairy and suddenly back to her.

Could she see Tiera?

"Come on! Didn't you want to get home?" Tiera teased still trying to tug at her human friend.

Ally suddenly looked away from the girl and followed the direction of the flying fairy who lead her to more form fitting material.

She picked up some shirts which she actually did like the appearance of, but she couldn't allow her little friend to be satisfied. So Alicia kept her face straight not giving away any emotions.

"Eww. You freak!" Someone shrieked on the other side of the store making Tiera and Ally turn around.

Alicia's eyes narrowed as she saw a pretty head head approach the girl near the coat racks.

Trying to understand the situation, Ally noticed the distasteful look upon the tall red headed girl who wore very thin clothing and seemed very confident in her body image.

"What are you doing out in public? Did you even shower today?" She mocked as a group of her followers laughed along with her.

She slowly approached the smaller girl like a lion.

The black haired girl didn't respond, but started to walk away only for the red head to stop her again standing directly in front her.

"You know better than to show your face here." She sneered as some of her spit hit the face of the black clothed girl.

"Leav-ve me alone." The black haired girl said with a pleasing look. "Ple-ease." She begged.

Ally's eyebrow raised not understanding why this fight was taking place. But something didn't feel right and her body subconsciously approached the scene wanting to stop it.

"Is everything alright?"

Tiera look shocked to see her private friend intervened with other humans and kept her head looking up wondering what else the human would do today. But Ally looked confident between the two human girls before her.

The red head snapped her attention to the blonde giving her a big smile while her eyes showed how annoyed she was to be interrupted.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Came a sickly sweet voice that made Ally shiver in disgust.

"Alicia Wild. I just moved here." Ally remarked knowing it wasn't technically a lie. "I just heard a small scream and wanted to make sure nothing bad happened."

"Hmm." The redhead hummed scanning the blonde's appearance with her green sparkling eyes. After a moment, she stepped out of the way of the girl with a stutter giving her a small nod like some kind of permission to leave.

The black haired girl looked up to the blonde with a small glare before she ran out of the store wanting to escape.

"My name is Brittany." The red head said taking a step close to Ally. "I'm actually the class president at Lincoln High, so that means I'll be your tour guide when Monday comes around."

Ally's eyes looked over at the small friend group standing behind Brittany as they silently waited to see what their leader would do next.

Alicia then looked back to the girl giving her a big smile as well.

"I've heard positive things about the school." Ally said trying to make the conversation friendly. "That's quite an accomplishment to be the class president."

"Yes…" Brittany sighed looking at her nails almost bored with the conversation.

"I usually wait till Monday to give advice, but…" she said looking back into the blue eyes of Ally. "Since I'm feeling extra nice today, I should warn you to stay away from that girl who wears all black. She's a real freak and others will avoid you if they even see you associate with her."

Alicia nodded seemingly understanding.

"Thanks." She muttered with a shrug as she saw Brittney give her one more small glance with an unpleasant smirk attached to her face.

Quickly the red red turned leaving the store with her group of followers closely behind her.

"Ally…" Tiera started to speak when she noticed the mischievous look gleaming in the humans eyes. "The black haired girl didn't seem to friendly about you.."

"Looks like I just found my new best friend." Alicia said with a wild smile as she looked for the loner who left the store too quickly.

Tiera sighed knowing that the red head just gave Ally a ticket to stay hidden in public while attending school.
