41 Finally

(A/N: Question for my readers. Would people like it more if chapters were short or long? I think I pretty much stayed in between. But what is your preference? All help me out with reviews if you haven't already. I would really like it and I would reaaaally love it if it's your honest opinion. Let me know here or in the comments!)

It took no time at all for the earlier incident to be plastered all over the news, and eventually, it was picked up by the Justice League who sent a few of their main members to investigate. Once the heroes arrived, they would meet inside of the meeting room which consisted of a giant table with several chairs for heroes to sit, it was in this area where they decide on important things such as kicking someone out or letting a new member join the Justice League.

A few familiar faces were found in the meeting room, starting with Bruce and Diana who came down due to their availability. The noise recorded sounded like a dragon which got Diana's attention along with her senses as she knew straight away that the person was Ethan, however, she didn't tell anyone because she wanted to speak with him.

The other heroes sitting at the table were Dawn, Hank, and a pretty recent addition to their team who was met with an unfortunate accident that left him no choice but to rely heavily on technology. Technology that allowed him to possess strength and intellect that far surpassed an average human, allowing the man to do incredible feats involving the rising age of machinery.

And his name was Cyborg.

"The amount of damage caused by that man could have been worse if it continued," Diana said.

"That is true, but it makes it hard to understand what is going on... Could it be just to give people a sample of their power? Has there been any demands issued by this person?" Bruce wondered.

"I've checked all around, but the guy appeared and then poof. " Cyborg sighed after turning off his virtual computer that pretty much gave him access to the internet and other pieces of technology he's allowed access to. "He dipped out faster than an unresponsible guy who just found out his girl is pregnant. I wasn't able to find any cameras that got good a good look at him. The best I got was an image of his back, but that's not good enough."

"He probably knew I was coming and escaped before we could get there," Hank smirked as he leaned back in his chair

"Please... not many people know us anyways" Dawn sighed, rolling her eyes a bit. "Well, whoever the guy is, he is extremely powerful as just being in near him set off my danger sense..." She mused while stroking her chin.

Bruce frowned, "So no motive... and no picture."

"We'll ask around to see if anyone has seen anything suspicious. I'll do a patrol during the night to see if I can pick up some clues. Maybe there was something we missed." He said as he stood up from his seat and walked towards the exit of the room.

"Sounds like a whole lot of boring stuff and not a lot of action. When will I get to fight again? Things have been too peaceful for my taste." Hank groaned, crossing his arms.

"Well, you might get the chance for some action. Because look at this. " Cyborg pulled up a hologram picture in front of everyone, it showed someone quite familiar especially to Batman who looked at it before he left the room.

Bruce narrowed his eyes and frowned as memories of his past flashed through his head.

"Talia..."

Ethan had a big discussion with the girls after his declaration to claim Raven in front of them. The first thing to discuss was that they needed a permanent place for them to stay and the reasoning for that is because he needed a place for him to seriously train without worrying about what is going around him. It was quickly suggested by Pamela that they should buy their own island away from civilization and build their own home.

Everyone seemed to like that idea, but that meant Ethan needed to get a lot more money. He could transfer the jewelry into more money, but he still felt like it wasn't enough. So, that meant it was time to rob another villain of their valuables to increase his capital.

And of course, even when he has the money it will be a bit difficult to purchase an island unless they used Pamela's power again. However, Ethan didn't want her to use those powers ever again as it the idea of someone else falling in love with her irked him, to the point that he might do something he'll regret...a little.

The second topic of the discussion was the time he'll spend with the girls, he decided he would designate specific days where they had him all to themselves to which Harley replied with, "I'm first bitches!"

However, Ethan decided Pamela was to be the first because unlike the others, there was a special connection with the redhead as she was the one he was most comfortable with, and she was his first mate despite the circumstances.

Harley immediately complained about this, but he quieted her down with a kiss and a tight embrace which caused her to melt in his arms. Although, she did make him promise to take her on a date first because she did indeed ask first.

"I wasn't the first to ask?" Myra pouted as she gazed into his eyes. She knew her master was somewhat avoiding her for some reason. She desperately wanted his affection and couldn't understand why she was left out.

'Did I do something wrong?..' She thought.

At that moment, he seriously started to look at Myra.

The dragon guard was an extremely beautiful woman which was given as she looked similar to Pamela, but after her rebirth, she started to have noticeable differences and some not so noticeable like the beauty mark near her left eye. She was taller than him by several inches, but that didn't matter in his book, and her chest was a bit bigger than her twin.

"We'll talk later about this."

It wasn't what Myra wanted to hear, but she accepted it, however, before they could move on she would lean over a bit while turning her cheek to the side. "Kiss."

"Myra..."

"Kiss!" She shouted while keeping the same smile she has on whenever she greets her master.

"Since when did you start demanding things from me." Ethan sighed as he went to kiss her cheek.

However, at the last second, Myra would move her head, causing Ethan to kiss her lips a bit forcibly as it was only meant to be a quick peck on the cheek.

Myra's eyes immediately widened as she started to feel what felt like a bomb going off inside of her mind. Everything she thought a kiss would feel like was blown away as her enter body shuddered from feeling his hot lips against her own. 'That's what that feels like...'

Ethan quickly pulled away as he frowned not at the fact he was tricked, but the fact that the kiss somehow felt good. He would give Myra a glare, but she was off in her own world trying to burn everything about the kiss inside her mind.

A silence would come over the RV as the two organized their thoughts.

"...So, what's the third thing you want to talk about?" Pamela asked breaking the awkward silence.

"Well, the thing is..." Ethan scratched the back of his head. "I have a goal in mind...it's the reason why I started with the idea of being a hero. However, I got involved with Pamela and Harley..so I can't quite do that anymore."

"Good, because being a hero is a terrible idea. You don't get to do what you want." Harley replied with a slight nod of her head.

"Plus you might start to act like the Batman. He's super boring always shouting. I AM JUSTICE! I AM VENGEANCE! I AM THE NIGHT!...wait did I do that right?" Harley mused.

"Yeah...a bit childish on my part I suppose, but I made that decision because I wanted to get stronger. I have people that I want to reunite with..." Ethan sighed before making a serious expression.

"Reunite with who?" Raven curiously asked just as everyone listened in closely.

"My parents...I wish to see them again..." Ethan answered, showing a rare look of sadness that caused everyone to hug him. Even Teekl jumped on his shoulder to rub his cheek against his as the two hyenas rubbed against his legs.

Speaking of the hyenas, Ethan noticed that their eyes looked shiner just as their fur started to have a slight red tint to it. He wondered if Harley had used some kind of pet dye on them, but that couldn't be the case as he would have noticed.

Perhaps he'll talk to her about it later.

The girls followed up with questions about his parents and their whereabouts, but he only answered that they are far away beyond his reach. Raven had a slight suspicion about what he truly meant, but she put it in the back of her mind as she believed he couldn't be that stupid.

And oh if she knew...

Once everything was settled, he would do the most important thing...

Take Harley on a date in a city he knew nothing about except for the fact that it was a huge plot point for the start of the series called Young Justice along with other things.

'Wait does that mean they are working on the clone thing? And Klarion...he wasn't Klarion The Witch Boy, but Lord of Chaos...Now that I think about it...which universe am I in? Or could it even be the same since I practically messed everything up?' Ethan thought as he got dressed in casual clothes. He could have instantly done it with the function of his storage ring, but Harley wanted to watch him change slowly.

Since Ethan reached the 3rd stage, it meant that he could use the appearance change spell all on his own, and with his current amount of dragonic essence he could support it for much longer than an hour. He even taught it to Harley which proved to be more difficult than when he learned it with Pamela.

At first, she didn't want to use it as she could care less about being caught, but after he told her that people might interrupt their date she started to learn with more gusto. After a few hours, Harley finally learned her first spell and she was quite proud of it.

She wasn't all about changing her appearance, but she thought maybe she could pull off something really interesting with the spell.

Something for another time...

The look Ethan went for was similar to the last time he used the spell, his hair was now pitch-black while he kept his eyes the same. His attire consisted of a stylish short-sleeved white jumpsuit with a black dragon on the back of it coupled with black glasses that sat on his face. Pamela asked him about the glasses, and his reasoning was because "It felt right."

'Maybe I should wear glasses more often?...' He thought because he actually wore glasses before he came to this universe, and Harley seemed to like it. However, it wasn't hard to get Harley to like anything which was good to know as he might exploit this in the future when certain problems arise.

Harley on the other hand decided to change her hair color to that of red which seemed to overwrite the dye that was in her blonde hair. She would then give herself a slight tan, but Ethan quickly told her to change it back as it looked strange.

However, she didn't see how it was any difference as she was wearing high waist denim shorts that made her rear-end more noticeable and a white t-shirt with the red printed word 'Trouble' across her chest.

"Why did it look strange?" Harley asked as she slipped on a red jacket."Now, I should just change my hair color to another one as I look too similar to Wendy's mascot."

'She shall never know of my secret files as they are in another world...wait...does that mean my internet history!...I-eh who cares. I'm not me of the past anymore.' He thought as he watched Harley show a smug smile in the mirror which nearly caused him to laugh.

"Yeah...change it to something else.."

After what felt like hours of preparation, the two were finally going to have their date, an experience that Ethan has never had before, but hopefully, with his knowledge of his gaming history he could somehow pull it off.

"I really don't like it." The villainess said as they walked out the RV.

Ethan raised an eyebrow, "Don't like what?"

"I don't like the fact we have to hide when going out in public..." Harley pouted, crossing her arms. "And it feels like I'm going out with another man." She complained.

Ethan hearing this would immediately frown as he started to regret his decision of changing his looks. He only thought about doing it because this city is home to the Hall of Justice, one of the places where the Justice League has more eyes on.

However, even if that's the case...

What the hell was he doing?....

He was going to hide from the Justice League even after the fact he gained a massive boost in strength?

He was going to bow down his head once again and insist his mate do the same?

As these thoughts swirled his mind, Ethan started to undo his spell, reverting back to his normal looks while his red eyes flashed with newfound confidence.

"You're right...I don't need to hide who I am anymore. If I encounter a problem, I'll just beat it into submission. I won't let anyone get in our way." Ethan growled, clenching his fists.

'I'll just say one thing to my past self...FUCK OFF'

Harley started to change back to her normal self, "Hehe! That's my Honeybun!" She exclaimed happily, wrapping her arms around his neck just as he sweeps her off her feet.

"Now let's get out of here." Ethan laughed as he leaped into the air towards the busiest parts of the city, jumping from building to building while enjoying the cool night air

Back in Gotham City, a familiar man was sitting on the couch in his house while watching a movie with his wife as she told him that he doesn't spend enough time with her anymore. As they were watching the movie he would get an alert on his phone.

"If that is another woman trying to talk to you, I will kill you, Ronnie." His wife replied with a solemn expression which meant it wasn't a threat anymore, it was a promise.

"Hahaha...Ah..." The man picked up the phone and looked that it was a text from someone nicknamed 'Demon Boss.'

(6:34 pm) Demon Boss- I require your assistance.

(6:35 pm) Me - Haha, what can I do for ya, boss?

(6:37 pm) Demon Boss- I need a house.

(6:39 pm) Me - Uh... can't you just go do that on your own?

(6:42 pm) Demon Boss - Not the kind of house I require

(6:45 pm) Me - What do you mean?

(6:48 pm) Demon Boss - It has to be on a private island. You'll make it happen right? It's one of the reasons why I gave you a bonus for the RV. I want the house built in the shortest amount of time. I'll even pay extra

(6:52 pm) Me - How am I even going to get the money from you?

(6:56 pm) Demon Boss - Come to Washington D.C I'll be waiting. If I don't hear from you within the week then I'm coming for you.
