Chapter 86

While Naruto toured through Konoha with Hinata, Kara arrived with her team in a different solar system.

Arriving in space, she could see the target very clearly as the meteor traveled in front of them.

Her mind was focused on the task even though she felt annoyed at the fact that Naruto was spending time with someone else.

It was really a weird situation. It was something out of her expectation. None of her studies would have prepared her for such a condition.

Monogamy was the thing in her culture. Monogamy was the thing in the people around her and the only exception would be warlords and Kings.

It was weird. It was awkward in the start but she walked this path. She wasn't alone as her sisters had to walk it as well. Naruto was also walking it with them as he wasn't some playboy that knew about such things.

It was a situation none would expect but it only happened because of Naruto. He was just too good at being the one. He was an exceptional lover that was hard to replace and let go.

Kara didn't think she would have allowed anyone else such a privilege. It was because Naruto was Naruto. He was good to all of them. He never let them feel lonely. He made them feel complete and happy.

She was happy. She was satisfied but it didn't mean there weren't times that she wished that she was the only one.

She was happy with the other girls by her side as it made things fun. They were all very close but the new girls really made it difficult.

But she couldn't let go. Just the thought of letting him go and let others take her place made her heart suffocate.

She was too deeply in love with him. He was the only one for her and she was willing to endure it all for him.

She would never allow him to go back on his words. He promised to never let go, so she would also never let go of him even if he insisted.

She was very much angry at Nyx at the moment for what had happened. She was worried about his health and finally there was some annoyance at not having him by her side.

'He could have atleast volunteered to cheer us on.'

On the other hand, Pamela was very happy at the situation as Naruto was relying on her for the first time.

Her life from young age could only be called terrible. Her family was broken and it made her into a broken human.

Her father was an abusive husband while her mother was submissive. Her mother loved flowers and every time the husband beat her, he would give her flowers.

Her mother had a garden at the back of the house filled with beautiful flowers but one day this garden was where she was buried.

Her father killed her mother and buried her in the garden to the feed the flowers she so dearly loved. The words and actions of her parents molded her into a twisted person.

She used her beauty and knowledge to control people, just like how the flowers had manipulated her mother.

She went through college and made chemicals that were illegal. She killed her father with a kiss and nobody knew as her poison was traceless.

She loved plants just like her mother and actively pursued a career where she could help out the plant life.

In this pursuit, she was affected by a magical plant that killed most people but she survived and gained super powers.

She became Poison Ivy in the truest sense and had been wrecking havoc as a villain. But after getting defeated countless times, she tried to go for a peaceful life but it didn't suit her.

Finally she met Naruto, his aura attracted her and his personality was very much open unlike most heroes. He was a good listener. He was a good friend. He was a man of action and didn't let his dreams remain dreams. He didn't let his words remain words as he actively helped out the world to the best of his capabilities.

She fell in love with him but he already had too many lovers so she went with the second best option but Nightwing distrusted her too much.

Her looks and her demeanor were too close to Starfire for him to ignore. She didn't need mind reading powers to see that she had no chance of convincing him of her loyalty as he considered her as a slut that couldn't be trusted in a real relationship.

She couldn't say anything against it as she had done such things for too long and was just getting what she deserved.

It wasn't like Nightwing actually insisted about love or anything and he was pretty much loyal with no charges of infidelity against him.

It was kind of a miracle that Nyx ended up fulfilling her dream. The moment she slept with Naruto, Pam knew that there was nobody else.

He was the one.

Everything she had felt before him was completely insignificant and it made him irreplaceable. Just like all the other girls, she wasn't one for sharing but she came late and she knew that asking for such a thing was akin to declaring defeat.

Naruto was possessive. He was persistent. There was no way he would let any of his lovers go. It was a good thing that none of them had expressed such desires, Pam couldn't imagine what would happen if one of them expressed discontent with the situation.

It would be a good thing for her, that's for sure but she wouldn't want it because it would bring heartache to her love.

She had always been selfish and she hadn't changed too much but now Naruto was counted as part of her selfishness. She wanted to see him happy but obviously she had to be in that picture.

Unlike the others, Pam knew she would have eventually gone for seduction as it was her nature. She couldn't let go of something she wanted dearly and it didn't matter if the other girls were her friends, sharing was caring after all.

It was a dream come true but that fact that Nyx had Naruto in her palm was rage inducing. Her Naruto was supposed to stand above everyone, not in the hands of someone else.

The eternal darkness was dimming the golden dawn and she could do nothing about it. She was the avatar of Gaia and her powers were growing but the fact was that she was never going to reach the level of Gaia, who stood beneath Nyx.

It was a problem. It was frustrating. Naruto stood above them all and Kara, Raven, Donna, and Diana were following him without a problem.

Shay Veritas played her part by the tech genius, Shiva played her part by being a martial genius but she had nothing to give to him.

He had more powers over nature than she had and it was not her nature to stand at the back. It was especially annoying knowing that the new girl was going to probably stand higher on the affection scale.

All these were problematic but at the moment she was happy. She was focused on the task and the fact that Naruto was relying on her.

She was happy that she could do something for him.

'I will be right behind you, beloved.' Pamela smiled as she looked at the dragon sleeping on their target. She had understood the Otsutsuki and gained some understanding.

They ate the life force of planets using a tree so why couldn't she do it as well.
