Chapter 76

Arriving in an unknown solar system, Naruto gaze was attracted to the only other living being beside him.

It was a short girl with a height of 150 cm. Her skin was pale tinged with light purple, almost resembling silver. Her hair was purple and short, reaching only her neck and her bangs cut past her forehead. Her eyes were lustrous purple, with red makeup painted right above them. She had horns on her forehead, going from the same pale tone of her skin and gradually becoming wine-red. Her fangs were sharp and long compared to those of humans.

She wore a golden ornament with a green jewel over her forehead, in between her horns. She wore a short kimono that came to her knees with a red sash, leaving her creamy legs open. The kimono was bluish-purple, with red curved lines drawn throughout it, especially on the tri-parted extensions of the sleeves. Some green ribbons were attached to it. Underneath the kimono, she was mostly naked. Her ankles had red ribbons tied around them. She wore a piece of seemingly metallic material that covered her crotch and breasts, linked together by thin lines, and going all the way up to her neck, connecting into a choker. Of the same material, her hands and feet wore small pieces, tied around her fingers and wrists, and toes and heels respectively.

She wore metallic shin guards, with ornamental oni heads on her knees.

She was carrying three gourds by her waist and over the hip: the first was a small brown gourd; the second was a white container of sake; the third and most prominent was an overly large blue gourd of glass with golden ornaments, from which he could sense poison.

The right held double-edged sword, with a glassy-blue mid-section, a large golden guard and hilt, with an ornament resembling her blue gourd attached to the bottom of the hilt.

This short Oni woman with beautiful appearance was standing on the nearest moon and drinking sake. Just from here appearance it was clear how much she loved it.

He didn't Nyx to tell him that she was his target as he could sense the presence of darkness on her body.

"Fufu, I have been waiting for you beloved. Would you care to join me for a drink like old times?" The woman spoke in a seductive manner like she actually knew him and they were actually close to each other.

She seemed to have prepared a place for them to sit and drink.

Naruto had obviously never seen the girl but she wasn't lying. She actually believed what she said.

This was the weakness of his power, if a person believed what they said totally then he couldn't tell if it was lie unless he read their minds and made his own conclusions.

Just from that he could see that Nyx must have given the girl some fake memories to make the battle more interesting or something.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki, Leader of Golden Dawn and Future Emperor of the world. I have come to challenge in combat." Naruto introduced himself formally as this was a duel and he wasn't feeling like drinking at the moment.

Only after the battle, he might consider it.

The Oni narrowed her eyes hearing that response but the smile never left her face. He could feel anger radiating from her but it was not directed at him.

He could actually feel affection from her directed at him, very powerful affection at the level of obsession.

"I see that she was right. You have forgotten everything about us. They have brainwashed you into become like this, such weakness doesn't suit my beloved. My name is Shuten-Douji, your one and only Queen. I shall free you from this accursed fate." Shuten spoke in a slow but beautiful tone that was kind on the ears and heart. The wine vanished as she pointed her sword at him.

"Let us fight like old times, beloved."

There was no stopping the girl, she had some made up memories about them and he was the one brainwashed in them.

He had no time to talk as the girl appeared near him instantly, even with his new powers this girl could match him.

He expected nothing less from the avatar of Darkness and teleported away from her before her sword could touch him.

He followed it up with gravity control and contracted the space where she was standing. It was enough to crush a star but the girl walked through it like nothing.

She was darkness and her body showed him what it meant.

Shuten appeared behind him this time and blew poison mist at him. Even in space, he could smell her aroma. It was sweet and addictive that seemed to feel nostalgic. It seemed to have the effect of lowering the guard of the victim and getting them drunk.

Naruto formed chakra hands and caught Shuten with them as she could become an element, so he had to counter it with his control of nature.

But she slipped through his attempt and slashed at him as the poison mist had been dispersed. Naruto blocked it with his sword and kicked her in the abdomen.

Shuten dodged it with finesse as she floated horizontally and pushed back against the sword to kick him with both legs.

Naruto used the chakra arm plus space manipulation to catch her from the back when she came in for the kick.

Catching her Kimono, Naruto smashed her into the moon with full force. Shattering the celestial body, Naruto threw Rasenshurikens in her direction that had molecular disintegration qualities.

People on his level should have resistance to such abilities so he wasn't worried especially since she was prepared for him.

He couldn't hold back his strongest attacks for fear of killing the person as his victory would jeopardized. Following the six shurikens, Naruto focused and released a concentrated Bijuu laser from his hand that destroyed the planet below them and pushed Shuten further down.

"Just like always, you are so wonderful, beloved."

Naruto heard those words as she slashed his back and he was unable to react because she had solidified the darkness around him.

He had sensed the danger but had been unable to give a proper response.

Bone collector

It was the move that she used on him and Naruto almost screamed in pain as she had intended to debone him completely with her reality warping slash.

Naruto had managed to stop the affect but he had lost a rib and it floated outside near his assailant.

Naruto put pressure on the area and kicked her in the face while the damage had been healed instantly.

"They have made you so weak, beloved. This ability should have never worked on you. It saddens me to see you like this, so please forgive me for what is going to happen." Shuten muttered in a forlorn tone as she shook her head at him after stopping her flight and cancelling his follow up attacks with her aura of darkness that ate away what it touched.

Naruto sensed her awakening more power and caused the space to implode around her but the darkness ate away his attack.

He used the stars around him as sphere of destruction, compressed and reinforced with his immortal chakra.

But Shuten awakened completely and her powers exceeded his at the moment. With a slash from her sword she released a wave of darkness that engulfed everything in its direction.

Naruto could feel her dark aura trying to paralyze him and he broke through space to arrive by her side, and slashed her with his sword.

Shuten would have blocked any other attack but it was the Immortal Slayer so she blocked it with darkness before getting her sword in place.

Naruto unleashed chakra arms on his foe, and hit her body with the powerful claws that sent her flying and he quickly stopped her dispersion with nature control.

He released a barrage bijuu lasers from all directions while solidifying space around Shuten.

Naruto focused on a more powerful attack while she was hit by the barrage.

"Can't have you use that move, beloved. I am sadly not that strong." Her voice entered his ears and once again she had used a dark clone to slip through his attacks.

They were clearly close in power in the start and he was better with fighting but she now had the stat advantage. Both of their attacks could really do anything to each other and this battle could go on for months.

She didn't intend to kill him and Naruto also didn't want to kill her. That was what would happen if he didn't have the Immortal Slayer.

The weapon turned liquid metal before splitting into sharp tentacles that speared in all directions. Shuten was unable to react to all of the attacks and the weapon pierced through her abdomen and left shoulder but she also managed to slash him in the back with full power.

Naruto smashed her aside with his chakra arm while he bit his lip as she had just deboned him completely, meaning his whole skeletal structure was gone.

He had never done this to himself so that pain was really something but fortunately he could still survive such things and his bones regenerated instantly.

He was okay again but there was problem, Shuten was also okay as she had not been damaged much. There two holes on her body now but just like him it didn't matter if she bled or not, it won't kill her.

'I didn't want to use this but, let's do it.' Naruto thought as he communicated with Kurama and locked onto Shuten.

'Go for broke, we have no choice here.' Kurama focused on the chakra to help the process.

Naruto had learned many things in the past year, using around 1000 thousand clones at least he had at least 1000 years worth of experience in techniques.

It was the reason his power grew fast as he got used to his immense chakra within the year and adopted many new techniques from scratch.

He had touched upon space, gravity, souls, molecular manipulation and even death. He had been touched by death and experienced it so he also built upon it.

Focusing on the target, Naruto created a death storm around Shuten. It was the mix of wind with the concept of death. Everything the wind touched would disintegrate as it died.

It wasn't perfect since it wasn't some simple thing to do but it would cause his opponents to defend and use up energy. It also gave people a scare sensing the presence of death.

Shuten was covered in the storm as it cut her body with deathly winds, it was grey and she could hear ghastly screams coming from it.

It had the affect of suppressing the soul and was trying to claim it.

This technique required a lot of focus for him to use and it also affected him, a double edged sword.

Naruto held back the affect on his body and charged up his attack once again. This time he added all his masteries into the mix to create the ultimate attack.

It would burn, freeze, shock, cut, drain life, attack the soul, disintegrate the molecules, contain death, pressurize the body with immense gravity, and destroy space.

All the affects would work together, once again an experimental attack since he had only thought of it in the past week.

But he was unable to make it in time as she stabbed him through the orb of destruction with a crazy smile on her face. He was unable to escape the affect of his own attack as it locked down space and hit them hard.

It exploded and covered a huge zone, leaving both of them extremely injured.

She was strong, strong enough to go through his clones and his counter measures. She was in her zone here in space.

He could barely follow her movement with his senses and only the danger sense warned him. It was just unlucky that he couldn't react fast enough before her attack reached him as she focused more power in her speed.

"Hahahaha, wasn't that a funny little accident. Beloved getting hurt by his own attack looks so cute." Shuten laughed as her body was bleeding from everywhere, her right arm had disintegrated and even her left leg was lost while there were parts of her abdomen and chest missing.

Naruto on the other hand had fared better since it was his own attack and he had been able to mitigate the damage. Regardless, his armor had been trashed and his right hand was erased and his energy was also disturbed.

"It is a funny little thing but, I have won. Shuten, declare your loss before we end up killing each other." Naruto stood confidently with no dent on his spirit.

"Give me a kiss, and I might do it."

Naruto could tell she was playing with him and had no intention of giving up. Once again the battle resumed but it seems that throughout the battle she was infecting with darkness. He was getting affected by it, the longer they fought.

'Your child'

Naruto heard the whisper and teleported away as he was about to cut her leg. It had disturbed his mind and he looked at her closely this time, not as a foe but as a person.

'You fucking whore!' Naruto exclaimed in anger as he realized that he been fighting his own child. She had directly grown her to this age or put her in a different dimension where time went differently.

She had given his new born child a fake life. What was he supposed to do about this? Taking her down was already a problem but how would he handle this situation. How will she react to finding out that her life was fake?

'Ah, I love that expression. But why worry, she has a strong mind. Just convince her to your side, that's all. I am giving you a light serving of this course or it could have been worse if done by someone else.' Nyx's playful tone mix with care entered his mind but he still felt like choking her.

'Don't think I can't feel you are up to something. This isn't the end of the surprise, is it?'

'That's my man. You are certainly correct in your assumption. You will become free soon so let us enjoy a new experience.'

With that he felt the presence of darkness increase in the area.

"Shuten, stop. If you love me, then don't fight anymore. I will accept you." Naruto tried to go with words as a battle between them was too dangerous. He might end up crippling or killing his child.

"That is not the right way, beloved. You need to earn it and you need to be free from the chains casted by the oppressors."

Hearing those words, he knew there was no choice but to fight. This was the worst experience in his life without doubt. Not even the fight with Sasuke hurt him this much.
