1 CHAPTER 1 : MY NEW WORLD CHAPTER 1 : MY NEW WORLD

As I walk in the streets , I realize that I have no goal in life . Why am I alive? Why I keep doing this every night? All this confusion botheres me everynight as I go home from work .

"*yawn* Im tired , might as well take a bath"

I said while entering the bathroom . As I take a bath , all my questions was pushed away by the heavenly bath but it still remains unanswered.

"My boss is evil , making me work overtime" I said while Im leaving the bath . I saw my computer and quickly decided to open it , "Might as well check the internet then" . While browsing the internet , a heard a notification from my cellphone , so I quickly checked my messages . "*bell* oh , a message , ummm....its from Mazuto"

"Ehh , what do you have to say in the middle of the night *click* . "Hello , Just wanted to show this game its pretty cool and fun , its an MMORPG called "GOLDEN CHRONICLES ONLINE" , You better play it or I will reveal your secrets" . "Ehhhh.... a game , *sigh* whatever I will try it" . I quickly install the game and run it , hoping that it will be as cool as Mazuto says . "Golden Chronicle Online? I hope its a good game"

As I run the game , the game presented me a very cool Menu . I've quickly press "Start" so that I can test it . I was entering the game and they request for me to create a character . The game presented me with five classes with different abilities and stats "Hmm..... there's five classes , I probably pick the one that is simple and strong"

The five classes are Swordsman - specializes in weilding swords in close combat , Hunter - specializes in survival skills , can equip a bow for long range attacks and a dagger for close combat , Mage - specializes in magic power and long range spells , can also infuse magic to weapons to make them stronger , Tanker - specializes in defense and always on the frontline , also has taunt abilities for enemy to attack him , good for team battles , Priest - specializes in holy power and healing magic

, it also gives buffs to teammates , Assassin - specializes in stealthiness and close combat techniques , also have skills to think and escape tough situation in combat.

"Hmm....ohhh.. the Swordsman , and my name can be Kiyan in short for Kirisaki Yanuto" . Another line of options pop - up and its an option of subclasses , subclasses gives you extra abilities not in combat but in daily activities . "Subclasses? ,I guess It can be Craftsman" .

"That settles it , now I can log in now" . The moment I press enter , I've been transported to the game , I was fascinated by the beauty of it and how realistic it looks .

"Ohhhh! , I never thought you can make a game so realistic" . I said with a low voice and tune . After being heavenly fascinated , I realize that I dont know where am I . "So.. where am I? . I saw some people near me so I quickly tried to ask them where is this place? .

"Ummm...hello do you know where this place is" . He quickly agrees to help me and I think his face is familiar to me . "Oh , a newbie , this is Trenis also known as First town , its a good town for newbies. . . . . . . . . .

"YANUTO!" . I suprised that he shouted my name and never quiestioned me . After that I quickly realize that it was Mazuto after all . "Ehh... Mazuto??" . I was suprised that I will him this early at the game . "Haah.... I never thought you will play it and met you this early" . He said with a suprised face .

"Haha... I never thought it too , also call me Kiyan , where in public view" . I answered while still in shock . "Ha.. sorry , Oh right , *cough* *cough* , this is Trenis , its a place for newbies and also the world spawnpoint"

"Ohhh really... , Thanks for telling me , oh.... yeah while were at it lets form a party" . I said in a happy face while being worried that he will devline it . "Sorry , I already have party and were full now , so Im sorry" . I been suprised that he already have a party

"No.. no its okay" I said while being feel sad but with an ok face . "Oyy!.... Mazuto , were leaving now!" . That voice that can be heard from afar calling Mazuto's name . I came to look for it and it turns out that its from its teammates .

"Yess Im coming! , hey lets meet again" . He said while looking at me . "Yeahhh , Bye" I answered while looking at him either . He's about to leave when I invited him to do a brofist , and he did it happily . As he leave I waved for a goodbye greeting . After that , I realize that I have to experience the game myself .

"Right , I have to check my status" . As I inspect all my stats and character info , I know mos of them considering there the same as all of RPGs expect one thing . "Hmmmm...Object Control Power? What is that?" . I quickly open my cellphone and research it and it seems that it measures how good I cotrol specific items , since Im a swordsman , my OCP for swords is average while others are very low . OCP increases by experience .

"So it measure how I control things , Huh?" . After I fully understand the concept of it , I quickly explore Trenis searching for shops and I stumbled up upon a board full of names . "A leaderboard , those players might be really strong" .

"Now , lets level up" . I quickly got out of Trenis in search for hunting grounds in its outskirts . "*slash* Ohh...its really easy to control your character in this game , ohh a slime *slash*" . I was impressed that I know how to swing a sword , "Ohh I level up , *slash* , *slash* , *slash*" . I terminated about 10 low-level slimes and I level up very fast .

"Level 5 hah , Ohh a skill" . The moment I've reach level 5 a icon and a menu pop-up of my screen , it seems that its my first skill "Windslash? , emits a slash of force in the direction your facing , lets try it" . While I was testing it I saw a level 5 lone wof just near , I take this chance to test my skill

"WINDSLASH! *slash* , wow it kills that wolf with one hit , it also has good range , its a good first skill in my opinion" . After that , I been farming exp and I realize that it was late and I need to sleep ."Ohh right I been playing for an hour now , Im just gonna log out and play it tomorrow" .

2 months later......

I was addicted to the game , everynight I play it , farming , buying new equipment , training my skills , I been doing this cycle for 2 months and I became stronger everytime .

"Yeahh!! , I got tenth place in the leaderboard" I shouted full of happiness that I came this far, I celebrate on my own considering Im a solo player . "Lvl 145 , *sigh* its a long journey , being able to reach this point is unbelievable" . I still in shock that I reach this point without realizing it , its like its just a blink of an eye . I really spent a lot of time on this game .

"Its really like my second life , Its much more lively than the real world to be honest , Its really my new world .
