1 A wonderful day

"So this is it."

The flashes again, as if called to her aid right after the last drop of thunder was still rumbling away from our ears.

She tilts her head up letting the heavy down pour slide down her slender features, not giving a glance to my downtrodden form. It's like I'm no longer a concern.

'Which isn't false' I smirk to myself. Looking at me on all fours holding my throat giving surprisingly little effort to stop the bleeding.

Rain beats on my back making the uneven rock beneath us make a good attempt to pull me into a kiss with its wet surface.

I muster the effort to look at her as lightning is comes down behind her still form finally noticing her gaze on me politely waiting for me to gather my self,

Even now I can't help but think how fairy like she is. Her reddish hair in a ponytail reaching down her back, navy bye eyes that would look at me with admiration no matter the situation, a pretty freckled face dripping wet from the storm above us.

"Is Nice night we're having sir?"

Small hands expected of a girl who rarely leaves the house able to fit in my hands takes support from the wall beside her, her athletic build undermines the power packed in her small body reaching 5.5 feet on a good day and 4.11 when she's in her default slouch.

She holds me in her eyes tenderly like a lover, I can't help but get caught up in it... and the resolve I feel well up in her.

Walking to me, her foot falls some how reins supremacy to the once defining storm surrounding us. Slow, elegant, deliberate, exactly what I would expect. Her slender and deceitfully soft fingers trailing on the completely flat wall to her right before passing its 3 foot wide form.

Her petite figure utterly engulfed by the sear mass she called a sword, 3 feet wide and 11 feet tall, it towers above us like death itself. Although it wouldn't it be more prudent to say over me?

The rain bites into our skin, the winds rattle our bones and the lightning tears into our beings, but here we are still as a lake.

She jumps on to her sword, standing above me, I can't help but wonder if this is meant to convey a message to me.

Her closed eyes open peering down at me.

All I see is justified for all the time 'wasted' just like when I first saw her so long ago, brought to me by her rich parents to show off to the child prodigy. No one thought she had worth other than being a doll.

'This one could be strong'

"He could make me strong...I thought... least that's what I thought"

Her white sundress flutters elegantly around her legs, arms covered by a fur lined jacket sleeves only gong a fare bit pass her elbows while leaving her shoulders in view.

She lifts her hood over her head and looks up again

"You made me stronger... I thought you would make me smarter and you did... I thought you could make me free, and like every. Single. Expectation I set for you, you did it. Easily with flying colors."

Thunder rolls over our heads.

"I just...we..." she lifts and drops her arms helplessly motioning to our surroundings.

"A year younger than me and he had the nerve to..."

I move to stand and she picks up my message.

"ah... I'll end it now." her hand grasp the hilt of the sword, BTD.

I still have something to say. We lock eyes and I smile "its a wonderful day"

The sun shines behind Bronze shrouding her surprise in shadow, only her eyes still filled with admiration peek at me, almost as shy as they use to be.

"Goodbye... sensei"

A flash swallows my body

"Good by star pupil of mine."
