10. Fights 2

'Now to finish the job'. Alex mused as he took some pieces of rocks and started to destroy the lights surrounding the street.

After getting rid of the lights, he looked at the shivering members in front of him with amusement and then plunged into them from behind.

He quickly took out five more members and withdrew because he saw the leader looking behind to check.

'It's an expert'. The leader thought as he tightened his grip on the weapon.

Alex quickly fired a senbon right into the leader's heart as this guy was being a nuisance and it would also help to disrupt the goons' formation.

After the leader dropped dead on the floor, Alex saw that the rest of goons were restless and started to look around frantically while clutching their weapons tightly.

'Here I go'. Alex used his stealth ability and took out five more goons. Now there was only 14 of them left on the dock.

Alex quickly plunged into them as he used techniques like whip strike that made the goons shout in pain and cord cut that literally cut off their veins in the neck or other parts of the body.

Alex had a massive grin behind his mask as he made quick work of the remaining goons on the scene.

Looking at the scene of carnage around him, Alex felt nothing like it was a normal occurrence. He shrugged his shoulders and quickly moved the bodies out of the way.

"Phew, this was harder than killing". Alex wiped the sweat on his forehead and put the mask back on his face.

'Now to make sure the girl is okay'. Alex thought as he made his way to the container and quickly opened it.

Inside, he saw a girl about his age with long raven hair and a beautiful face that was clean and neat. She had a small body that told that she might be a good looking woman in the future.

She was currently unconscious and was groggily waking up from the shouting outside the container.

The girl looked over as the faint moonlight seeped into the container. She looked afraid and intense hatred could be seen on her face.

"Hey, are you alright?" Alex got close to her as he asked.

The girl quickly backed away from his hand. "Don't touch me, you loathsome creature. You guys captured me and now want me to let my guard down".

The girl had a beautiful voice as she looked at Alex like a vermin that couldn't be more hateful for her. She wanted to get away from here as soon as possible.

"Don't misunderstand, I got to know that those guys were trafficking a girl and quickly came here to save you and take care of this". Alex explained as he need her to trust him a little so he could take her to a safe place.

"Why should I trust your words?" The girl asked as she scrutinised him.

"Well let's go outside and you will know". Alex said as he started walking out. The girl hesitated but her hope of getting out of this situation made her follow him.

After getting out, the girl looked at the heap of corpses on the side and retched her guts out as she saw the brutality.

"See, I said that I took care of them". Alex said in a neutral tone as he talked to her like it was no big deal.

"Now, I can take you to the police or I can help you settle down somewhere". Alex looked over to the girl and scanned her body with his eyes with subtlety.

'She does look better than a kid would look at her age but it is still not right to kidnap her'. Alex thought while looking at her.

Plus it didn't help that Yujiro's experience and abilities were influencing him slightly. 'I'm a hypocrite, I admit. I want to have a big Harem as the dream of every Otaku or I would've never gotten reborn in DC'.

The girl calmed down after Alex patted her back for a while and stabilised her emotions. "Thank you". She sobbed while clutching his shirt.

She sobbed in his embrace becausr she finally felt safe. Although it was gruesome when she saw the bodies but she was more grateful at being saved.

She didn't want to be someone else's slave or property. That would be the ultimate humiliation. She shed tears of sorrow and joy at her situation.

She was acting tough to hide her fragility and helplessness of the situation. Those bastards would feel better, the more she wept or acted timidly.

She was just a ten years old girl whose family was nowhere to be found. She was picked up from the streets because of her beauty to be sold to some rich guy.

She had resigned herself to her fate but after being freed from this, she felt happy and truly grateful to her saviour in front of her.

"Alright, there there. Nothing will happen as long as I am Here". Alex patted her head and consoled her when he saw her crying while clutching onto him.

"You never told me your name". Alex said with gentle tone and eyes as he looked at her.

"H-Hancock, Boa Hancock". She felt embarrassed by their intimacy and replied while sobbing a little as well.

But she didn't move away from Alex as she felt safe in his warm embrace. He was the only person who has treated her warmly and like a human in all these years.

"Now onto the serious topic. What do you want to do? I can take you to the police or help you settle down". Alex asked as he looked at her seriously after she calmed down but didn't leave his embrace.

"I don't want to". Hancock clutched his shirt tightly, not willing to let go.

Alex felt a bit troubled but quickly thought of something. "I can take you somewhere but I can't take to my house yet. So we'll have to manage it there". Alex said as he looked over to her. Orphanages in Gotham weren't the best thing to live in and he wanted to take responsibility to the end if he helped her.
