3 A Lively Team

Gojo would wander around, testing regulars' power levels to see just how strong they were.

He found them to be very weak, but it wasn't fair to pit children against himself, and he also noticed that none of the regulars were using the mysterious power in the air, shinsu.

He wondered if only those from the ten great families could use it, considering the first regular's reaction to his reversal red.

He also felt changes to his six eyes. Instead of only sensing the cursed energy within the air, he was also beginning to sense the flow of shinsu.

Although it was faint, his six eyes were slowly adjusting.

And since shinsu felt superior to cursed energy in a way he didn't understand, this new change was looking quite good for him.

As he continued wandering around and defeating regulars he would encounter along the way, a scene of two regulars fighting caught his attention.

A regular with black hair and yellow eyes used a spear and was fighting against another regular who Gojo found interesting.

The other regular had both dark green hair and eyes, stuffed inside his blanket, and held his pillow very close.

He looked half asleep throughout their whole fight, but as it became clear that the black-haired regular was going to lose, he attempted to run, only to be hit in the back by shinsu.

When Gojo saw the blue ball that started off the size of a palm and rapidly grew to the size of a human body, he was surprised. Still, when unleashed, it viciously attacked the fleeing regular with great speed and force.

Upon impact, the regular's upper body disintegrated to nothing.

Gojo was shocked for the first time in a while. He's seen attacks that could level cities with ease, but what made this one different was that he saw everything that happened with the shinsu.

Because the shinsu was being manipulated, it became clearer to Gojo's six eyes. Gojo saw how the regular manipulated it and how he made it attack the other regular.

Gojo believed that if he was to recreate what he just saw, he could do it with ease now.

But what truly shocked him wasn't how the regular manipulated the shinsu; it was just how limitless it was.

His eyes showed him everything you could see and couldn't see, and what he saw was that there were infinite possibilities for shinsu.

He saw that the regular's shinsu was powerful, yet it could be a thousand times stronger in the right hands, even millions of times.

He wondered if there were people on higher floors with enough power to bypass his limitless, or if he can make his limitless even stronger than before using shinsu.

The regular acted as if nothing had happened and placed his beloved pillow beneath his head and instantly fell asleep.

Gojo slowly approached him until he was standing above him, staring down at him.

"Hello, my friend!" Gojo said, as he patted the regular's back.

The regular's eyes shot open when he noticed Gojo standing right in front of him. He attempted to strike Gojo a few times, which was futile, and took the opportunity to dash away to create space.

'I didn't even sense him!' The regular thought in panic.

This was the first time someone has ever been able to sneak up on him while he was asleep. He slept because he loved it, but he also knew that he would be able to sense any regular that attempted to sneak up on him. Yet, this random regular managed to do exactly that.

Gojo noticed the guy's suspicious and fearful look and said, "Don't worry, I come in peace," as he held both his hands in the air.

The regular was still cautious of Gojo, wondering if he was lying or not.

"Just look at me. Do I look like the type to attack the defenseless for no reason?" Gojo said, as he posed a few times.

"But all jokes aside, what's your name?" Gojo asked seriously.

"Laure." The regular named Laure, replied.

"I really don't plan on fighting you, unless you give me a reason to. I just want to ask a few questions, and I hope you'll give me answers." Gojo politely said.

Laure, on the other hand, took Gojo's word as a threat that if he didn't answer, he would kill him.

Laure nodded, prompting Gojo to ask his first question, "Are you from one of the ten great families?"

"Yes." Laure responded.

"Are only…" Gojo's question was cut short from the announcement of the end of the test.

"The first test is now over."

"All remaining regulars must stop what they're doing and listen."

"Any fighting will result in elimination."

"To the 200 regulars who passed the first test, congratulations to you. There will now be a second test which is very simple."

"There are 200 regulars left. The remaining regulars must make a team of three."

"You must be touching a part of your team's body to be counted as a team. You have five minutes, if you don't have a team when the timer is done, you'll be eliminated."

"Good luck!"

Both Gojo and Laure stared at one another.

"It seems like fate wants us to be on teams! I'll save the questions for later. For now, we need to find another teammate." Gojo suggested.

Laure, although cautious of Gojo, didn't mind having him as a teammate. He had a feeling that Gojo was extremely powerful.

They would spend the remainder of their five minutes searching for a teammate, and they would eventually find one.

"Ugh! I finally found a group with only two people!" Gojo's new teammates exclaimed as she touched both Gojo's and Laurie's arm.

A few seconds later, they would be teleported to a new location.

Upon opening his eyes, Gojo and his teammates were met with a huge open area in a closed space.

Gojo would look at his teammates who didn't look very happy and said, "We are such a lively team."
