Chapter 1GOING TO A MALL WAS NEVER BEEN ‘TOO EASY’

CHAPTER 1: ME AND MY FAMILY

"It was late in January when all that happened," I said turning to Emily and Leo. "Do you remember 'that' incident till now?"Asked 29-year-old Emily."Yah! Of course, that day changed my life!"

Leo was still silent, sharpening his sabre.

"Want to hear 'that' incident? I asked them.

"Why not?, It reminds me of many things, even of Sarah" Emily replied turning from a happy mood to a dejected one. I could also see a big frown on Leo's face.

( I tried to cut her sentence, but it was too late)

"Here I…. Oops! I totally forgot to introduce ourselves. I am Alex, the Great, Omnipotent, Macho…" "Hey, stop that Alex, it's too much, tell the truth" Emily interrupted.

"OK" I replied, sighing.

"I am Alex Turner, presently 29, but at the time of that incident, I was 14.I am an adventure-seeking and confident man."

"Reckless too."(Emily)

" Is it OK ma'am?"

"Get lost."

"She is Emily Thompson (Emily doing her signature move, which involves making an E with hands). She is a quick-witted and a self-assured lady.(not very sure) At times, she can be very useful.

Last but not least; Leo (just Leo)(ONLY Leo)(call him "L" If you like).He is a very serious and sincere man. When he was 15 years old, he was very precocious and intelligent. Leo is an expert in firearms right from the age of 12.(Leo, still silent, with no countenance)."

As the day was getting quite boring, and while cleaning up the room(earlier this day), I FOUND MY DIARY(no a journal) which I had when I was 14. All this motivated me to remember those days fo our lives. they sure were EPIC.

We all met at the training camp that was organized in 2084. We are together since then. Emily is now my wife and we have two kids: a boy and a girl. I still remember, having a secret love for her in our early days. I hesitate to say it but there is no doubt that Emily is very beautiful and elegant. I, Emily and Leo are best friends. Leo is just like my brother. Together we make an unbeatable group.

"Am I right Leo?"I asked him. (Leo, nodding in acceptance)

I don't know why he is so silent. He can speak, but I MAY know a reason. If you ever notice him speaking, feel yourself lucky.

It is late in May in the year 3000. The world is slowly restoring, thanks to the great efforts made by scientists. From our shelter, through a large French window, one can see the young and magnificent hills of the Edward Plateaus in West Texas.

I decided to go into the veranda, with a mask.

AND saw a prehistoric newspaper saying

"Abhay Chandra wins the Nobel Prize!!!"

He sounds familiar...

BTW The climate is very hot and humid, which is not good for us as it will fasten the growth of microorganisms(especially fungus) in our food supplies and also in the zombies. Yeah, you read that right, ZOMBIES!!!

Texas is a very beautiful place despite all those zombies and mutants.

Then, his face turned dark, and she could feel her blood drain from her veins as she looked at the disgusted look on Sky's face. "I thought you were different from other girls; I don't like you more than friends, Selena. Don't expect I have feelings for you because I treat you nicely; in my eyes, you are only my brother's best friend, nothing more, nothing less." Sky replied and walked away from her without taking a second glance. Selena's confession made her the laughingstock in her school, and things became complicated between them even after she gave Skyler one more chance, and she swore to herself she would make Sky pay for breaking her heart. But her plans became futile when Skyler became the greatest professional basketball player in the country and won the award as the Most Valuable player five times in a row. Skyler became a celebrity, while Selena had difficulty mending her broken heart. Sky was at the top of the world, enjoying his popularity and wealth, and having the hottest heiress as his fiancee made him the envy of all the guys all over Vizland Republic. One accident made him lose everything he knew he had, including his self-esteem. He became angry with the world and his existence. Selena was desperate to get a high-paying job to support his father's impending surgery. She grabbed the opportunity she read in the newspaper only to find out she would be dealing with the heartbreaker, Skyler. What will happen when the egoistic Superstar realizes fame is not the only thing that matters in the world? Can Selena be Sky's guiding light and savior in his darkest moment, or will she turn his world darker by taking her revenge on him? (Warning: Have mature content in the later part of the story)
