Inside a well-decorated bedroom, Minato put his wife on the bed lovingly. She was barely supported as her arms were around Minato's shoulder as he had his baby in his arms.

Placing his son in his mother's arms, Minato kissed Kushina's forehead lovingly.

A strange voice started to emerge from Kushina's abdomen. Her stomach was uncovered and Minato could see a complicated black seal spread over her stomach.

In the region of the navel, a black hole was formed as a horrific breath emerged, causing Minato, Kushina and their newborn to feel extremely pressured.

Kushina's eyes were tired and her expression was pale, but she still managed to let out a weak smile under Minato's encouragement.

Minato immediately took out a scroll and slammed his hand on it.

From the cloud of smoke, a small toad emerged.

It had a strange body.

The small figure had the upper body of a toad and the lower body was connected to a scroll.

"Get ready, I am going to change the seal and I need your help."

Minato's eyes were grave as he immediately sent a message to mobilise reinforcements and also alert the village about the infiltration of the enemy.

"I want the Uchiha Police to station around the borders of the village to find every suspicious ninja."

An Old Man with a grey goatee shouted. He was covered in black battle clothes and his arms and calves were covered by chain mail armour. His head was also protected by a black helmet.

His wrinkles reached his cheek and his expression was extremely gloomy.

He was Hiruzen Sarutobi— the third Hokage. Minato's predecessor!

"Orochimaru, I want you to create a barrier formation as quickly as possible."

He looked at the pale youth with purple eye markings alongside long black hair.

"Yes, Master."

Orochimaru calmly nodded and immediately called for three other Jonins and started to create a defensive barrier.

Ryu frowned as he finally placed his wife on their bed.

After seeing the condition of the hospital, he wasn't going to let his wife stay there for even a minute longer.

Before he could speak with Asuka, his face changed and he immediately hugged both of them and retreated out of their house.

He did not even look back and kept on running. His speed was extremely fast and he left in a blur.

Alongside his house, many other houses were blown away by an explosion.

"The village is under attack."

His pupils rotated quickly and his heart clenched as he finally understood the reason for all the shinobis moving in a hurry.

"Asuka, sorry for all of this. But you need to hold our son tight. Understood?"

He whispered and he felt extremely guilty as he looked at his tired wife.

"Yeah, don't worry. And don't overexert yourself."

She whispered back and curled up and hid her face in his chest, protecting their baby.

"Shit, I left the tribe to leave my name in the annals of the shinobi world. But now, I have to hide my identity because of my stupid attitude in the past!"

Minato spoke to Kushina as he concentrated on the big dark pit on her stomach.

The man in an orange mask spoke hoarsely.

He was standing inside one of the ruined houses. He immediately looked towards his left and hid his presence.

"Go, go, find the enemy!"

"He must be nearby!"

"Use Sharingan to detect the enemy's presence!"

"Don't forget to check inside the houses."

Under the search of the Uchiha Police team, the shadow still remained uncaught and free.

The figure chuckled darkly!

Before the attacker could reach, the masked figure waved his hand in a circular motion and his figure was sucked inside a formless ripple emerging from the spot of his right eye.

The moment he disappeared, a figure landed outside the ruined house.

He was a middle-aged man with red eyes and three black tomoes around his pupils.

His jaw was raised and his brown hair fell on the sides of his face.

"Clan Head, did you find something?"

Someone asked.

"No, keep on searching."

In a dark space, Minato finally opened his eyes.

In front of his eyes was a giant crimson-furred fox that was held against a huge fireball using metal chains.

"Hehe, you are Minato Namikaze?"

A deep voice emerged from the Nine-Tailed Fox as its red eyes locked onto Minato.

Another figure appeared beside him. She was the red-haired Kushina.

Space immediately trembled as the Nine-Tailed Fox roared in anger and rage!

"Kushina! This time I will tear you apart!" The fox gnashed his teeth as its bloodshot eyes gazed at the indifferent Kushina.

"Cheh."

She snorted coldly.

"We don't have much time!"

Minato's hands were still covered in black pattern.

"Hmm? This is Dead Demon Consuming Seal?!"

Kushina almost shouted as she looked at her husband.

He immediately shook his head to calm her down.

"No, don't worry. It's just a slight modification with less power, but it still consumes some extent of my soul."

Minato explained as he shot towards the raging Kyuubi.

"What can you do with such a seal? You and I both know that this seal won't last long even if you weaken me."

"Don't you worry about that!"

His hands immediately stretched and touched one of the Kyuubi's tails and immediately grabbed it and pulled back.

A dark red stream of energy emerged from Kyuubi's body as it caused him to shout even louder.

Minato kept on pulling backwards and gave a look to Kushina.

"Break the seal and stall him for a few minutes."

Kushina immediately nodded as she saw Minato cutting away the part of the energy and disappearing alongside it.

In the real world, Minato's body was covered in red energy cloak as his skin eroded under the corrosion of such potent power. His hands were still covered in black pattern and he felt a numbing sensation from his left calf.

His hands formed complicated seals and he immediately slammed on his own stomach.

"If I had gotten a hang of the Sage Mode, I would have been able to do it with no sacrifices."

Minato thought as the red energy started to converge on the half part of his body, forming a hideous entity.

"Hehe, you are a fool! Sacrificing the left calf of your soul to take away half of my existence!"

"Hah! Don't get afraid so soon!"

Minato coldly snorted and a black sealing pattern appeared on his navel and spread along his abdomen.

"Hehe, sacrificing a part of your soul to host a demon! Hah! I am flattered!"

The deep voice did not stop and kept on speaking.

Another explosion occurred, but this one was quite close to their location.

Minato immediately left his own body unchecked and started working on his wife's body.

He looked at the scroll-toad and pressed its body, inscribing complex seals with one hand as he started to reinforce her Wife's seal with another hand.

Meanwhile, he also inspired the Eight-Trigrams Seal on his own abdomen to seal half of the Kyuubi rampaging in his body.

Inside Kushina's subconscious realm, a fierce battle had already erupted.
