36 Trying my luck (7)

Reaching to the end, I saw spatial stones. It was a small spatial stone mine. Which made me quite happy since even small mine is in the future protected very carefully.

Confirming that there is no other path, I decided to build a wall and door, to close off the tunnel. I also need to find a blueprint to make a fake core.

The first players got a fake core, from new god planets, players that didn't start on an undiscovered planet. And they were sold later rather cheaply.

But currently I don't have a place to buy, I did look around at the market, but I got only two-tier 0 equipment.

That's why I am quite troubled.

I decided, before I log out, I will tell my guards, to keep their heads up. They may end up lucky since it's not a very rare blueprint. It is even possible to find it in a large city marketplace.

After confirming my small plan, I started building, when I felt like no more, I decided to go back.

Arriving back at my shop in Cursed Sun, I saw my guards and told them about the fake core. I also asked why they are here.

One guard was still here since he ended up running away from local guards, who act like bandits, and he didn't receive a spatial mark for the planet on which he ended up. The second guard escaped from the bandit camp.

He ended up near the camp, got captured by them as a workforce to mine, but he did get a spatial mark. But he isn't sure, escaping a second time yet.

It made me a bit how bad their luck was, but in my last life, there were even worse end ups.

But to not let them loiter around, I told them to keep an eye on the marketplace, and maybe we get lucky. Since you never know who ends up selling the design for the fake core.

I also give them enough crystals to get materials for a fake core. After that, I taught them about inner and outer control skills.

I taught them because it will be faster that way. Guards can later teach others.

After that, I made food for us, and when I finished eating, I logged out after putting my character to sleep.

There are a few different sleep modes. What I use is deep sleep, where a person goes out of the pod. Then there is light sleep, where the player has to sleep in the pod.

The light sleep advantage is that the player will be woken up to noise or thanks to special danger skills and traps. But at the same time, the player will recover slower.

I prefer light sleep, but if I am confident, then I use deep sleep. And recently, I have been very confident. It's possible to sleep in a pod with deep sleep as well, but it's not worth it because the character can't hear anything.
