17 ESHU PART 2

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Eshu was seated in a large blue van, inside the van were electronic devices,and a small shelf, he connected the devices to his laptop, he sat on a revolving black comfortable chair , sipping his coffee and typing in some random codes. There was a beeping sound and soon he saw the number and a smiled appeared on his face, he called the number, "Ello! a old shaky female voice said. "Hello!, My name is Lucy Benson, he talked through the microphone, he has already altered his system to give him a female voice. " I am calling you because there is a problem in your account, so you need to send me your account number and BVN. He said in a calm soothing voice, waiting for a reply from the old woman, "is something wrong with my account" the woman's voice was filled with worry, "yes, but do not be bothered, it can be easily fixed". "Ok, I will send... BANG!, Someone kicked the door to his van, "I will call you back later" he quickly cut the call .you back", he turned around and his eyes went wide, he smiled, "Oya, I wasn't expecting you" he said widening his smile. Oya walked in, a woman tailed behind her, the woman squeezed her face as if she has ate something bitter, Oya heard his phone ringing she went and picked the call, "Ello!, Is me again, should I send my BVN" the old asked in a shaky voice, "there's no need, your account has been fixed, and if anyone calls you looking for your BVN do not give that person", she cut the call and placed the phone on the shelf, "she looked at him and raised her left eyes brow and folded her arm around her chest, "would you believe me, if I say I don't know about that phone call". She narrowed her eyes "fine, am guilty", he raised his hands "but why are you here anyway" Eshu sat on his chair, "shouldn't we report him, his a terrible person" the woman who came with Oya said , she couldn't hide the hatred she has for Eshu, Eshu looked at the beauty in front of him, "Who is she"? He pointed at the lady, whose mouth went wide from disbelief, "after what you did to me" she said pointing at herself, "I did a lot of things to a lot of people" he said to her. "I am the Orisha of weather, I wanted to become so beautiful that my husband will only have eyes for me but instead you gave me a potion that made big boils appear on my face". She yelled on top of her voice, Oya was already dreading the decision she made by bringing her, when Ladi begged she couldn't bring herself to say no. Eshu was in a deep thought the next reaction on his face made Oya realized that he has remembered, "Oh! I have remembered, you are the lady who looks like your face was attacked by a porcupine needles" he broke into a loud laughter, smacking his laps "I got you good" he said as he wiped his tearing eyes, the Van started shaking, so did the whole street, "Ladi calm down" Oya shouted but the woman was too angry to listen. "Eshu, I need you to protect the new guardian", Oya said after still holding on to Ladi "what's in it for me"? "I will give you half your powers, if you complete the mission then you will be given your full powers and a passage home" Oya was trying her best to restrict Ladi, "and if I refuse" she glared at him, if you refuse, I will send you to the land of the doomed, where you will work as a slave for a thousand years. She growled at him, making him shiver, he gulped the invisible spit in his throat, "how can I refuse to help you, when you asked me so nicely, I will protect... And train the guardian" Oya cut's in, "as you wish" he said and bowed his head. Oya disappeared with the ragging Ladi and the entire street was back to normal. A picture appeared from thin air. He held the picture and saw the face and the name of the boy written under the picture,

" Ohinoyi .M. Ozovehe".
