1 Chapter 1: Prologue

Thousands of years ago there was a huge battle in the heavens that no one on earth even knew about.

A battle that had been going on for hundreds of years, a battle that no one could see or hear that had the destructive force power to wipe out galaxies.

It was a huge battle between Angels and Demons.

When people hear the word angel they usually think of a supernatural being created in the heavens by God and are peaceful beings.

The truth is that angels were beings that were converted from humans to join in this Great War.

God had selected the first angel by sending down a grail with an elixir in it that contained his own powers.

The grail lay inside of a cave in the side of a mountain where it waited until someone would drink from it.

One man was so lucky to find this cave one night when looking for shelter and warmth, this man was called Ezekiel.

Once Ezekiel had entered the cave he could feel a warm glow coming from the other end of the cave.

As he headed down the cave the light became brighter and as he approached it he stepped into a huge cavern that contained stone podium and on top was the source of light Ezekiel was attracted to.

On the stone, podium contained a golden grail encrusted with beautiful gems, as Ezekiel leaned over the grail he could see the water in it had a slight glow to it.

Ezekiel: it's almost as if it's not there

As Ezekiel said this to himself he picked the grail up and took a swig of the liquid inside it.

As soon as he did he started to finish the content of the grail.

Ezekiel: 'this is the clearest water I have ever tasted'

Ezekiel placed the grail back on top of the stone podium as he did a voice echoed throughout the cave.

???: Welcome number 1

As soon as the voice stopped Ezekiel was transported to another dimension and was now faced with the person whose voice it belonged to.

???: Welcome my child you have been selected

Ezekiel: What do you mean selected? Who are you?

God: I am your creator and I have selected you to help in the fight against this.

As God finished talking he opened up a rift in space that showed millions of demons readying themselves for war.

Ezekiel: how am I supposed to take them out I'm just a weak peasant?

God: you have drunk from the grail you now possess part of my powers.

God then reached out to Ezekiel and placed his hand upon his head and activated Ezekiels aura as he did so Ezekiel then burst out with powers.

God: I have just activated your powers, these will help you in the upcoming war.

Ezekiel: what exactly are my powers?

God: for starters, you can now control the elements, you have also been gifted with immortality

God then produced a sword out of nowhere and gave it to Ezekiel.

God: keep good care of this sword it possesses your soul, this blade is the only way you can be killed, either the blade is broken or you are stabbed with it these are the only ways you can die.

Ezekiel: so what am I supposed to do now? Go out and wipe all the demons out?

God: no. for starters I need you to recruit more people, you see I made you humans with my powers already developed within you, any human can activate them with enough training.

Ezekiel: so I need to go and recruit people how exactly am I supposed to explain this? "Hey want to come to war also get some cool powers?"

God: you can start with that if you please, but as soon as you recruit them you must send them up to me by activating this.

God then handed Ezekiel a small circular device with a gem in the middle.

God: simply tell them to place their hand here and they will join me and I will sort the rest.

God then opened up another rift that showed the closest town to where Ezekiel was.

Ezekiel: So I guess I have no other choice but to go, I'll do you well and recruit the strongest people I find.

Ezekiel closed his eyes and stepped through the rift as he reopened them he was almost wiped out by a passing horse.

He looked at his hands holding a sword the grail and the gem and headed into the town.
