1 Getting our first system

My name is Anu and my brother's name is Akiri we both came from a decent family not rich but not poor either. Our mother was the one who took care of me and my brother. Our dad died in a B Ranked Dungeon.

My brother is older than me by a couple of months so he would hopefully get his system first. My brother was always the hero type of person while I was always the sometimes evil guy.

The thing about the systems is that they will be based on your personality. But let's skip to the day we both got our systems. We were kids 9 years old.

One day me and Akiri decided to explore the forest a little bit.

"So Anu what do you think our abilities will be," said Akiri in an exciting tone.

"I don't know we will see when we get them," said Anu in a tired tone.

"Well, I'm hoping to control fire and blast the monsters away in one go" Said Akiri.

"Yeah keep dreaming," Anu said in a sarcastic tone

"Wow rude much," Akiri said with a disappointing sigh

I suddenly felt a chill down my spine as we went deeper into the forest. It was like we where being followed by something

"Hey do you hear that," Anu said

"Hear what, "Said Akiri

The footsteps started to get closer towards us until it revealed themselves as a pack of wolves. Me and my brother knew that we couldn't beat these animals so we decided to run. But it was too late and we became surrounded.

When people are born there born with an element but their system is their true power. My brother had an affinity for water while I had an affinity for Shadows.

"I told Akiri to hold on to me" he did as I said and we both teleported closer to the house. The move I use drains a lot of stamina because I barely have any mana. So I only can use it once a day.

Shadow Teleport: you cross into the shadow world and towards your destination but not the exact location so you will randomly come out of it when moving towards your destination.

Anu and Akiri both started to laugh at them making it out of the situation.

A wolf was able to get a scent off of him and started to move. The other wolf didn't follow him because they knew who was in the village. Or at least what was in the village.

The wolf found the 2 boys and pounced at them. Both of the boys heard the wolf and they both rolled in different directions.

Neither of them had their system or the help of other people so they had no offensive help.

They decided to stand their ground and both fight the wolf. The wolf Slashed me away with his claws and bite Akiri on the witch caused a big mark full of blood that started to spill out.

They both were in pain but fear got their tongues. The was about to finish both of them off but a bright blue light with a figure of a man showed up in front of Akiri

While for me A Red eye Black Dog like figure appeared in front of me. We didn't know what they were because of our vision is blurry. The wolf got scared and ran back into the forest.

We both fell unconscious after the wolf left.

I woke up first and we were still in the forest I looked around to find that black dog-like figure again but I couldn't find him anywhere.

Instead, a screen that said 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐧𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝

𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐲

"Anubis"

A bright red light blinded me for a second but the dog figure I was looking for was in front of me.

I ask him if we could talk at home because I needed to get my brother home. He simply nodded to me and walked with me as I carried my brother on my back.

After a few minutes of walking, we were finally home and Akiri woke up. The only problem was explaining this to our mother Akiri decided to explain while I was in my room talking to this Ancient looking dog.

He asked me a question I was surprised To hear. Instead of asking me why I want his power simply asked one question.

"𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐦 𝐚 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐲"

"I heard about the Egyptian God Anubis but judging on your tone and what you did for me and my brother I would say no you're not"

For a couple of seconds he looked at me and his final words were

"𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞"

I never heard of a god forming a contract with people so I was kinda surprise. But I still ended up saying yes to him.

The contract really wasn't to hard to do all I had to do was pray and state my name. I did as he said and a gust a wind was spiraling around

My arms started to turn black well at least not my whole arm but it reached my shoulder then stoped. Akiri came in screaming "A got a System I Got a System"

I looked back at Anubis but he had a confused face just like me. I ask "what system is it" but the words he said kinda surprised me. He said "My system is called the system of Poseidon".

Poseidon suddenly appeared and greeted me with Anubis. Our mon walked in and already knew about Akiri system but not mine.

Father a couple of minutes of explaining mom suggested we go to a System based academy.

A system based academy is an academy where they train you to take care of dungeons that appear on earth and other planets.

It wasn't a bad idea but when I looked at Akiri he seemed very interested so it's settled she said when you grow old enough you will go on Adventures.
