2 First village

"So last time in –insert name here- our hero Sam after getting killed in an unknown cliché way, meet a lamp that says it's a god, Samuel doubt that, and accepted being this god champion, a round away to say chosen one or hero, and reincarnate in this new world of magic and kings. What adventures our hero will have? Let's find out."

"Yes, the perfect introduction to my story so far…. I still need to choose a fitting name to the adventure." Samuel says with a pleased face. "And definitely need a background music, I miss my guitar, there's guitar in this world?" Says with a tragic face.

"Responding to my previous question" A depth breath later. "I found absolutely nothing!" Scream Sam out of his lung after a day of walking in the forest.

"All know of the marvel of adventure, excitement, life and death battles, fauna, flora and the sight of nature" Sam stop a minute to contemplate his surroundings. "Why I did not find any of that?!" Sam then screams again after seeing the same forest for the last day, and fond nothing of day and night life.

"Even a goblin might be nice, a boar or something to polish my skills, Technics? I don't know, with nothing here I can accomplish exactly nothing, I swear, if i didnt leave marks here end then, I will be sure that I walked in circles all this time"

Samuel reach this almost crazy state after a day of walking in what looks to be a tropical forest, an endless amount of trees that gets repetitive, and without the natural path, one can get easily lost.

Samuel then saw something in the distance, something made by men, almost flying, he rush to the object. The object was a sign that says...

–Next village 50 km ahead-.

"This means another night in the wood then. At least I know when I will reach the village." Was said with a –I give up- face.

The next day, after another boring night, he finally manages to see the end of the forest, and almost immediately, a plow field.

"Finally some civilization, I wonder what the name of the village is". Looking around, Sam then sees a middle age man working on the fields. "I wonder if he can answer my questions"

He reaches the middle age man, but before he manages to ask anything, the villager speaks first.

"Sam, good thing you come back, the villager chief was looking everywhere for you. You must find him quickly then in the middle of the village, you know the biggest house here? I believed that he will be happy to see you alive"

"Sure, I'm going now" Sam respond with a straight face. But inwardly, the situation didn't look like that.

-What is going on?, how that man knows me? This is bad, I don't want to begin my journey only to be killed for taking the body of a resident here.-

Sam was thinking in ways to escape this village in the worst case scenario. But he was already in the entrance of the village, when he woke up from his thoughts. Sam notices the big sign hanging from the biggest tree in there.

- Rail village-

"That lamp really throws me to the real Rial? Don't know of good or bad in the long term, but definitely bad now, let's see if I can talk to the village chief and convince him that they got the wrong person."

Making up his mind, Sam goes to the center of Rial, where he soon see a nice house, at least in compared to the house that surround it. Taking a moment to organized his thoughts, the door of nice house open, "you finally reach here, come in" said a familiar voice.

Reluctantly, Sam enter the house, "First of all, I am not the person you are looking for, the villager just told me to come here, but I am not who you think I am." Tries to explain Sam to the village chief.

"Of course you are the person I am looking for, after all, I sent you here" Said the village chief with a smile in his face.

"That's impossible… wait, that voice…. You are Lam*coughs* Jack!"

"On the mark, what do you think of the first days of your adventure?"

"Absolutely awful, I could barely sleep and the bugs are my doom, and where's my adventure?!, I encounter nothing on the way here!"

"A safety measure to assure your survival until you reach here, from here on you will meet everything without my assistance; now back to business, my last help, see that chest on the corner? Everything inside is yours."

Taking a look in the corner, Sam saw a 2 meters long chest.

-That's a big chest; finally this lamp does something good-

Exited, Sam opens the chest and was immediately shocked. -It's almost empty- thought with a pained face.

Inside the chest was a full adventurer bag, a knife similar to the knife he already own, an iron saber, an leather bracer and the apparent reason of why the chest was so big, a 2 meters long wood pole.

"As you can see, I put all essential of yours strength, everything that you can find in a small village like this, and don't put that face, I'm a god, you can't curse me."

"Fine, I should expect this after all what happen, so any more to say?"

"The basics, I gave you worth 2 gold coins, 1 gold, 9 silver, 9 copper and 10 iron coins. In the bag are a map and the basic for adventures. By the way, you can only pick one of the weapons in the chest. That's all, any questions?"

"Why only one? You already have everything here."

"Rules of the gods, a god can only give the bare minimum, since one weapon, the rest will disappear when you choose."

"Fine, give me the bracer" Sam thought that the bracer are the expensive one here.

"Something that was bugging me since I met you, this village, what the deal?" Sam ask after seeing the rest of the weapons disapear.

"This is a real village, I only put your existence in their minds, even this village chief, but I will give you one advise, the more you are here, the more they will question your existence. ||So if you excuse me, I'll be going||"

"No problem, I will leave first time tomorrow, so until when will you be here?"

"When? I'm the village chief, I will always be here" Said the village chief with a new voice. "So you are staying today? You can rest in the house in front"

-This damn lamp cannot be anymore irresponsible, he just leave me like that!- "Thank you, so I will be going now"

To prevent any more accident to occur, Sam rushes to the house in front. Thinking in what to do next, he realized he is more tired than he thought.

"I'll take a bath so I can relax next" one can only imagine how tired and dirty a newcomer adventurer gets.

Looking to the bathroom, he found a big bronze mirror.

"This is the first time I can see how I look after the reincarnation"

Samuel look at the men in the mirror, a 175 cm tall, a swimmer like build, a low tanned skin, short dark brown hair.

"Almost the same as my original body, but not as handsome" Said Sam with an inflated ego. "And now that I think about it, my body seems more in shape than in the past, but it feel weaker, weird. Doesn't matter, I will look at it another day, today it's relax exclusive."

Later that night, Sam just jump in the bed and fall to sleep like a hibernating bear.
