Fang Qiao lived his life for the sake of Yin Baihu, his war general turned emperor, only to discover the treachery of having been just a means to an end. In the end, he jumped off a cliff to spite the emperor but awoke several years in the past when he'd only begun his nefarious affair with the emperor, now a war general again. Fang Qiao does what every other protagonist does not. He runs for the countryside with his most beloved best friend and grandmother, leaving the capital and its many plots behind... Only, Yin Baihu seems to have eaten the wrong medicine - following Fang Qiao to the little village and asking for his hand in marriage? As if! He would rather eat shit than believe Yin Baihu again.
