1 Chapter One • Judgement Hour

"War Angel Captain of the War Unit Two, Argus Líthi, you have broken the Golden Rule of the Angels." A melodious voice of a woman echoed throughout the massive judgement hall. The celestial light from above shone down upon a shadowy figure, revealing their tall and mighty figure.

The shadowy figure could have been considered a handsome and powerful fellow if not for the demonic aura surrounding him as well as the six wings sprouting out from his back that possessed the darkest night's shade.

Angels who were spectating on the sides of the judgement hall cast their ill-intentions and unwelcoming gazes at the shadowy figure.

For whatever reason? This shadowy figure was once a War Angel as mentioned, but has committed a crime that broke the Golden Rule of the Angels, therefore his action had consequently led him to become a fallen one.

Instead of killing himself in order to not turn into a Fallen Angel and to preserve his pride as a Holy Angel, he had embraced the demonic powers to gain True Immortality.

"Do you have anything else to say, Argus Líthi's attorney?" The melodious voice of a woman belonged to none other than the judge holding the court, or as famously known by her title as Goddess of War, Freya.

Argus' attorney is his close friend, Rafaela, an Angel well-versed on the subject called Magical Arts of Healing. Even if her reputation has now been crumbled into pieces, her action was understood by some of the people who know her well, and some of those people happens to be Freya.

Sadly, the Goddess of War cannot go up against the rules and guidelines of the Heavens, so she has no other chance than to go up against her own friends.

Rafaela silently gulped towards Freya's clear seriousness. The court had just began and it was already intense and nerve-wrecking for her to barely bear...

When she had announced to be Argus' attorney, everyone didn't comment, even Argus himself seemed to not noticed that she was helping him.

"Argus has been brainwashed, your honor. He has done so much for the Heavens, even defeating the almighty Planet Executioner, Zhask, into deep slumber for the next millennium. It is illogical that Argus desires more power when he is ranked to be the most powerful Angel in the Dimension. That will be Argus' defense, your honor..." Rafaela spoke up. She did not have an ounce of an appearance of a worried angel, even her eyes shouted that she was willing to do whatever it takes to let Argus be forgiven.

Freya's eyes soften momentarily before returning back into its former strict and stern stare. She was very aware this Angel of Purification has feelings for the once War Angel, Argus.

She hopes that Rafaela's strong sense of love can bring back Argus into the light. However, it is sad to know that Argus' demonic aura was getting stronger each minute had passed by.

"Angel of Healing, Rafaela, it is true that Argus' list of achievements is nothing to scoff about, and him being brainwashed is most likely to be the case..." Freya was about continue when suddenly Rafaela had instinctively interrupted her due to blinded joy. "Then he has the chance to be forgiven, your honor?!" Although she looked calm due to her composure, her behavior and eyes betrayed her tranquil appearance.

Freya coughed lightly before shaking her head at her friend. "No, but there is fortunately one way for Argus to be forgiven," Rafaela was relieved and given hope in this short sentence from the Goddess of War. No matter what it takes, she promised to Argus back then that even if he has fallen, she will help him ascend again.

"If he does not decide to walk on the path of redeeming himself, then he will not be able to ever exist within the Heavenly Realm. His wings shall be extinguished and his body will be sealed inside one of the Eternal Chambers of Sins!" Freya tried her upmost best to make Argus' punishment sound light, but the punishment screamed death sentence no matter how you put it.

Rafaela clenched her hands into tight fists, she was holding back her tears and flooding emotions of negativity.

She turned her head to face the shadowy figure behind her. He was hanging down his head, hiding his sinister smile. "I'll accept the kind option from the Goddess of War. May I ask how will I walk on the path of redemption?" Argus finally spoke up, lifting his head up to stare slightly at the Goddess of War sitting above him in pure grace and purity.

"You will be sent to the World of Ashuras to cultivate before arriving to the Land of Dawn. Once you have set foot of the soils belonging to the Land of Dawn, Rafaela will help you ascend from there. I will give you your missions once you have entered the World of Ashuras." Freya spoke clear and loud. Briefly speaking, Argus will be crippled and then start cultivating as an Angel in the World of Ashuras. Only then does he finish cultivating will he be able to enter the World where the Land of Dawn resides in.

Argus let out a cold laugh out of his dried pair of lips. The nearby guards surrounding the fallen angel tightened their spears and swords, looking for any signs of attack.

"I will accept the punishment, your honor." Argus' acceptance caused Rafaela to rush towards to his side. She wrapped her slender arms around his broad body and almost teared up due to happiness. "Once you arrive in the Land of Dawn, I will be waiting for you." Were the last words Rafaela gave to the fallen angel before he was grabbed by the guards to take his first punishment.

Argus was crippled and therefore lost his powers, except for his seal which he had hidden inside him very securely.

He gave into the path of redemption so easily because he saw it as a chance of escape, even if it meant losing most of his power into the void.

Fortunately, he wasn't too impatience. He will get his powers back one way or another.

Once he does, he will first settle some scores with the Goddess of War, Freya.
