1 The golden light
year: 2050
A lone figure is walking in a park with a bag over his shoulder while complaining to himself loudly "Damn I never expected to be thrown out on my birthday, I mean come on I just become 18 and you throw me out give me a break"
James Sun is not an overly handsome person, he has some sharp features and his short blonde hair and his cold blue eyes are the only thing that is special about him. He is 182 cm tall with a slim build. He was known as absolute trash for his bad grades in high school and bad communicating abilities, he barely passed high school and stopped going to school afterward. He is an orphan with nothing to his name, other than the bag over his shoulder.
James forced himself to be calm and start to analyze the current situation. "Okey think, the first thing I need to do now is to find a place to stay. I have a little money so I should be able to rent a place, I hope. but tonight I need to sleep outside, so I should try to find a comfortable place to sleep "
After some searching he found a place under a big tree that looked okay enough, so he used his bag as a pillow and went to sleep.
The next day he started to search on his phone if any people were renting a room. He found a place that looked like a little villa, he decided to try his luck in that and called the phone number that was on the page.
He heard a girls voice saying softly "Hello" "Hello miss I'm calling about renting a room in your house, and possible if I can come over and see if it is what I want" James explained.
The other side was silent for a while "Sure, when shud I be expecting you?"
"I can be there in 30 minutes if that's appropriate for you miss"
"yes it's okay, see you then"
30 minutes later
James are walking up to the front door, and rings the doorbell. the door soon opens reviling a beautiful girl. black hair reaching her chest purple eyes that almost takes your soul, a beautiful face and a body that has all the curves in the right places. James was for a second only staring at this beautiful girl, but soon came around and focused again on the tasks at hand.
"Hello miss I'm here about the room you are renting, we talked 30 minutes ago on the phone"
the girl shows a little smile "Yes I remember, and stop calling me miss my name is Alexis Chase so call me that" "haha okay miss Chase my name is James Sun" I say with a teasing smile.
"hmp are you here to annoy me or to look at the room? hurry up and get in" I just smile slightly and walk inside. and I got a tour around the house.
From the outside this house looks luxurious. It has been built with tan stones and has red brick decorations. Small, octagon windows add to the overall look of the house and have been added to the house in a fairly symmetrical pattern.
The house is equipped with a large kitchen and one small bathroom, it also has a cozy living room, three bedrooms, a roomy dining room, a multimedia room, and a spacious garage.
The building is shaped like a circle. The house is fully surrounded by wooden sunscreens structures.
The second floor is the same size as the first, but part of it hangs over the edge of the floor below, creating an overhang on one side and a balcony on the other. This floor has a different style than the floor below.
The roof is low and triangular and is covered with slate shingles. Two small chimneys sit at either side of the house. Two roof terraces let in plenty of light to the rooms below the roof.
The house itself is surrounded by grass, a huge tree in the center and bushes on the borders of the plot.
the bedroom that could be mine was surprisingly plain compared to everything else I have seen, it had a large desc in on the corner of the room, it had a double side bed a night desk and a wardrobe.
After discussing it for some time I decided to rent it
"Finally some alone time, that girl switches from happy to mad in a millisecond, its so scary. okay so how shall I earn money now" I think
"Ahhh I can't think of something" I shout frustrated, and throw away my pillow.
"what" my eyes freeze at that direction I threw the pillow.
I shout withal my might "the pillow is floating!!!!" I run out of the room and down to the first floor where Alexis is.
on the first floor I see Alexis sitting on the floor and staring weirdly at the sink or more correctly at the water that is going towards the roof. I grab Alexis by the arm and drag her outside the house. there I see something that will forever terrify me, the sky was not there, it was an empty void.
Suddenly I see a golden light, then more lights, the sky is full of these golden light.
"It almost looks like the lights are coming closer," I say subconsciously
"Wait they are coming closer!" I say while shouting toward Alexis that we need to move.
then the light hits me
"Why don't this hurt?" I say while opening my eyes in confusion.
