So Unreliable

I am in this place thinking how can I escape this world.

I am conscious of myself that I did not try to jump of the building to kill myself.

After thinking for a while I get back to my sense thinking of the possibilities.

I am truly in another place like in another dimension but it is somewhat similar to my last world except that it is an apocalyptic world.

I'll need to find a way to ditch this place and return to earth. Though I have no idea how.

I tried some keywords to call out anything from the blue menu that was showed at that time.

And thankfully one keyword work..

' Menu, Main Menu, Homepage, System Menu, .....Status..'

Finally a property menu came up. It shows the status of my current conditions.

Ah so it's like the novel that I read most of the times.

I was excited I looked at my status and see my stats.

I look at my passive description and it got me excited.

Gamer [L]

( Description: The owner of this skill can adapt to situations quickly. The higher the will power the more the faster the brain may process.)

I saw another window at the top of my eyes showing my HP in Red and ST in Yellow.

From My guesses The Red bar is my Health Points and the yellow bar is my Stamina.

I Closed my Status window by saying

' Close Status '

Then the blue window disappeared.

I sat down and I tried using various keyword which could work but nothing much happen but it was not in vain.

' Inventory'

A blue window popped up with a chest icon at the left side which connect a row of small boxes. There was a crowbar and A piece of paper. Which is obviously the gene formula.

I took out the formula and read its name and the ingredients needed.

The ingredients were fairly simple.

Basic Gene Recipe.

4 normal Zombie cores

2 drops of zombie saliva

6 Drops of human blood

200ml of water.

Preparation method.

Step 1: Spill each drop of blood on the cores and let it absorb for 2 minutes. The material will get soft.

Step 2 : The cores are now soft meaning they can be crushed. Crush it with a hammer into powder..

Step 3: The powder is not yet fully purified so add 2 more drops of blood.

Step 4: As soon as you drop the blood then drop the zombie saliva into the powder in the time of 1 second.

Step 5: Take a funnel and drown it inside the water container. Beware everything should be dumb inside and not even a little should be left out. Keep the balance.

Step 6: Leave it in the sun for 2 Hours so the virus can go dormant with the effect of the human blood but still retaining the gene enhancing property.

Step 7: Consume it.

I looked at it. A bit complicated but with all the instructions dumped in I guess I can try it myself.

Now what kind of task is this with no reward.

I was looking forward to the service but there was no reply. well It seems I am truly forced.

Let me see if this room has a fridge or something.

Surely a five starred hotel should have a fridge in every room and by looking at this room I can tell it is a VIP room.

I look around and I found a mini fridge.

But I was disappointed there was no edible things but only beer and wine..

Damn I wonder If any person other than me comes here would he be happy finding these here.

Well all other Alcoholic would be happy but I don't need these. I am in an Apocalyptic world god damn it.

I keep my ears on the door listening to any movements outside of my room..I wish It is not like the view outside.

A few hours ago. While I look outside I saw the groups of people running together in a group which was truly idiotic.

Their fate are to only die this way.

If they had spread out they would have a higher chance of survival.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't scared.

At times like this I am thinking about the meme post on a social network app.

It went as If there was an apocalypse Normal people would run and hide but gamers were born for this.

My mind thoughts drifted to somewhere else.

I smile think about it again.

I leaned my ears and listen .

There was nothing but silence. I did not want to take a risk but I need to do it for the quest or else I'll be sitting with my 40% Debuff which would make me quite weak like a child.

I opened the door.

The sound of the door was smooth with only the initial sound of winding the knob.

I was expecting the earee sound of the door hinges creaking but what to say it is a five star hotel. Even their doors are premium.

Oh It even has key pass..That is some advanced technology even for a door.

Ahh yes it is a .....

I walked slowly.

The Room I was staying in was marked 1002.

It is not that it is the hotel has more than 1000 rooms but indicating that it is 2nd Room on the 10th floor .

The Corridor was long and would have been eerie if it did not have light but was still intimidating with the red carpet laid on the floor.

I walked to the left side the saw the room plate 1001.

I leaned my head listened to any movements inside. I listened for 5 minutes and then I grew tired. I banged hard on the door waiting to hear any movements pass then I heard it.

" Scrrrch.!.".

It was as if Something was clawing at the door. I took a step back and stood still..2 minutes passed and then the scratching sound stopped.

My heart was beating rapidly. It beating was irregular but quickly it stabilized.

I leaned my ears again and banged hard. There was the same scratching and clawing sound. And I heard a low growl. Hearing the ugly but scary growl I confirmed that It is a female Zombie and there was only one.

I readied my heart and took out the crowbar from my Inventory.

It's all or Nothing. I had the courage Now and I can go in and kill her and get the food. It shouldn't be kill her but kill it.

I tried to twist the knob but it did not open.

Damn This door is locked from inside.

My preparations gone to waste.

' Sigh, Such bad luck.'

Let's check other rooms.

I slowly walked minding my surroundings. I don't know if these zombies can open the door or not but I need to be cautious. One mistake and I could die.

The red carpet made this corridor more sinister with the added dim lighting due to it being morning time. I walk slowly and finally reach Room 1003 It just just a bit forward to his room but opposite direction..

I first kept my ears there was no sound and then I banged hard and listened again but there was still no activity.. I waited for some time.

No activity yet..

I tried to see if the room was unlocked or not.

*Klack..~

' wow a room that is not occupied it open..! Maybe they forgot to lock it in a hurry.

I went inside the room still vigilant about the surrounding. I saw blood and things scattered on the floor but there was no corpse. I went forward and wild wind blew in my face. From the bloodied ground I raised my head to find that the window was broken.

The broken shards remaining on the window showed blood stains which were left there.

I was curious but I did not approach quickly and surveyed around the room. After some throwing things towards the bathroom and toilet. There were no activity.

I was a bit relaxed but I did not let it get to my head and went straight towards the mini fridge.

There were sweets and ice cream. There was even Raw meat, Cup noodles and can food. I found treasure. Now I took in everything inside my Inventory and then the blue screen popped up suddenly.

I am trying to survive here and this thing will truly try to kill me.

Shouldn't this be some cheat system. Why is it so Miser.

I opened the door to see the zombie female chibi laying on the ground with her finger broken.

I see this and got sad.. I call up the guards to kick her out. The guards came and threw her out of the window.
