As the little girl was seeing her robes coated in blood, she felt a throb in her right cheek.
"Ouch," she touched her cheek and felt pain along with a split sensation, 'Great, a cut.
'With the conditions I find myself in, let's pray for a scar to not be left…' she thought with a bad face while tossing to a side the dead body on her.
She quickly stood up, not wanting to be careless anymore. However, her rush was unnecessary as only two kids aside from her remained alive and right now they were in a heated fight against each other.
Seeing that, she picked up the knife of the child she had just fight and watched them. One was about two heads taller than her while the other one looked to be around her height.
Though she didn't know much about fighting as at most she only took classes of personal defence in her past life, as time passed, she still noticed that the taller one seemed to know how to fight because of his stable stance despite his injuries.
'How strange…' The smaller kid didn't know how to fight; its movements were sloppy and from time to time she thought the child would slip and fall but that didn't happen.
'How can this fight still go on…?'
*Thud* Finally, the taller kid was able to push down the smaller child and land a fatal stab on its body. Nevertheless, regardless of its efforts and desperation, that kid wasn't mean to be the final winner.
There was still someone standing in the room, someone who had a sharp intuition and was full of stamina.
"It seems, luck is on my side today," out of nowhere, the little girl appeared behind the tall kid who was on his knees and slashed its throat. It was a sneaky attack but from her observation of the fight, she didn't have another way if she wanted to be the one to live at the end. According to her, if she had left the kid regain its stance, she would have been the one killed, 'I would like to say I'm sorry but I'm not.
'I would like to feel pity but I can't seem to feel it,' she thought as she saw another lifeless body fell because of her, 'Haa- If I die in this lifetime, I'm going to hell, right?'
