19 A Hilt with no Blade IV

Quietness descended between master and disciple.

At length, after half an hour or so, Xia Feng Zi said after blowing out smoke, "Fuuu~ These steps have no end, let's speed up." She had an impatient expression as she kept her dark blue long step smoking pipe in the black necklace and jumped forward.

'She finally grew bored of going at a relaxing pace,' Bei Ling thought. Even though when it came to killing Xia Feng Zi preferred to have done things quickly to keep her cool, when it came to other things it was otherwise; even if it was cultivation or alchemy she did it at her pace which was one absurdly relaxing.

Thanks to the heavens her talent and comprehension were high; moreover, when her disciple got engrossed with something interesting, she will put all her interest on it. Hence, she, as her master, didn't usually rush her unless she began to lose her interest and slowing down again her pace till the point of leaving that topic on a corner of her head. That's why her disciple had more incomplete self-made recipes than the complete ones; it was quite vexing but she couldn't bug her all the time.

After five seconds of flying down at Xia Feng Zi's normal saint speed, she was met with a dead end.

"Hmm…" She rubbed her head in incomprehension.

"What is it?" asked Bei Ling after appearing behind her.

"Nothing," she shook her head and proceeded to break the first of the three formations she had found in the wall; the one which giving by its energy was the one whose fluctuation made her spot out this place.

This formation was a concealing formation that not only covered whatever was behind the wall but also the whole ground up to where they entered. In fact, if she hadn't put attention in every detail in looking specifically for the entrance above which was in no way difficult to break, she wouldn't have found it at all.

It took her one hour to find the places from where she wanted to break; she didn't want to break it completely. Five hours to know how to break it and another two to make the breach right before her.

"Haa- All right," she let herself fall to the ground, "the next two are for master to resolve. They give me quite the headache."
