For the past four and a half years, he can now defeat the armored elephant easily. He also started to hunt beasts of the third layer forest more often.
He stopped hunting beasts of the first and second layer since two years ago. The meat of the beasts of the third layer are more tastier and nutritious.
His defense reached a higher level that a tackle from the armored elephant won't even push him back even a little.
He grew from being a tiny little kid to a boy whose height reaches five feet and three inches. His hair reaches his back and is tighed to a ponytail.
His muscles are not bulging but is firmly packed with pink muscles that is full of energy. His skin is as smooth as that of a baby but tougher than metals.
When a seasoned hunter focuses their eyes into him, they will feel the deep and unrestrained power coming from a predator, giving them the chills.
For those who never experience life and death battles in their whole life, they will only see a young and handsome teenager. Overall, they will think that he is a weak person and that may lead to their deaths.

Roan knew that he improved a lot but he also knew that he should not let his guard down. He is still weak according to his observation. Fortunately, he have a chance to win against the fire winged tiger.

*FOURTH LAYER AREA*
*TIGER'S DEN*
Inside the lava lake, where the fire winged tiger is taking a bath, you will see different kinds of bones, from the armored elephants bones, to the water demon snakes, and so many more.
Three years ago, the fire winged tiger's body is only more than two meter in height, but now, his body reaches five meters and his wings grow bigger that it can wrap his whole body with it without any problem.
It evolved to another level and this is also the reason why Roan strengthened his foundation and mastered his martial weapon arts to a certain level.

A young teenager is standing infront of the caves entrance. He released his full battle intent, sending a challenging force to the fire winged tiger.
Feeling the provocation from the human, the fire winged tiger roared from its cave and fire bursted from the ground. It slowly walked out of its den exuding ominous killing intent.
Golden eyes met red fiery eyes, the long awaited battle between the human challenger and the frst overlord will now start.
The beasts that are near to the cave, flees when they felt the intense killing intent from the human and fire winged tiger.

"It's been years since my defeat against you overlord! I will now defeat you. !!!!" Roan roared with killing intent but he stayed to his place, he knew that his opponent understand his words, he has intelligence comparable to ordinary human being.
Hearing the words of the human, fire winged tiger finally realize who this human was. He remembered the young little human who tried to attack him using stone sword but was thrown with a single flick of its paw.
Roan felt the disdain in his opponents eyes. His soul that is slowly transforming to a real dragon felt humiliated by the fire winged tiger. Anger filled his mind, " YOU LITTLE CAT DARE TO LOOK DOWN ON ME!!! I WILL KILL YOU!!!".
A dragon materialized from his back and roars with hate and disdain. The fire winged tiger felt threatened.
It roared back signifying that it will fight the human seriously. The pressure it felt from the human hurt its pride as an overlord, its eyes emits killing intent that made the beast 300 meters around them faint.
"Little cat, you will die today!!!"Roan said with a mocking face, battle intent and killing intent bursts from his body.
Roan dashed towards the fire winged tiger and pulled out his sword . The fire winged tiger parried the sword using its claw while counter attacking with its fiery wings.
Its clash creates whirlwind that destroys anything around them. Their speed is unfathomable, unbriddled and unrestrained like the storm that their battle had created.
After tens exchange between them, they decided to take it to the next level. They poured qi to their bodies and executed special arts they trained.
Using fire blaze, a high level beast skill, the fire winged tiger breathes fire out of his mouth creating fire storm.
Roan defendend against the fire blaze then jumped above the fire winged tiger while he executed the first level of his sword art, creating seven sharp sword waves directed to the Overlord's body.
The Overlord covered its body using his fiery wings creating a shield to protect its body, but still, blood poured out from its wings because of the sharp and strong attack of Roan's seven sword waves.
Opening its wings, the fire winged tiger overlord breathe a fire beam directly to Roan whose still above it .
Seeing that he can't dodge the oncoming beam of fire, Roan coated his body with three layers of fire qi to give him some resistance against the firebeam.
This attack sent Roan 30 meters away from the fire winged tiger.
---ROAR!!!!!--- the fire winged used fire blaze to incinerate Roan, then it rushed to stump the human infront of him. He tried to cut Roan but he vanished. Reappearing on his back while stabbing it with his sword, hurting the overlord.
ROAR!!!
The fire winged tiger was angered, it flew above to send the human down using its speed.
Roan knew what it wanted to do. Thinking of this, he pulled his dagger and stabbed it to the wound of the fire winged tiger before pulling the sword and jumping off of its back.
Landing on a branch of tree, Roan aimed his two daggers to the incoming overlord from above, successfully penetrating one of its eyes.
Without giving it more opportunity, Roan jumped above commencing the second level of the hundred slashes of destruction.
Slashing 14 times into a single direction, an x shape sword wave, three meters in length, penetrated the body of the fire winged tiger killing it without mercy.
Watching the falling overlord of the fourth area, Roan sighed, if he didn't gave his all to kill it then he will surely die.
"sigh"
Calming himself, roan slowly walked to the dead overlord.
"It's a little disappointing, you can't be my pet"
Roan sighed but didn't linger to it for long and just shook his head a little. He observed the body of the overlord.
A red colored round shiny thing is emitting a powerful flame qi. Pullng it out from the broken head of the tiger he observed it.
"hm? Is this a beast core? maybe its really a beast core"
Roan whispered while playing with the beast core like a baseball ball.
After killing and hunting beasts, this is the first time he found a beast core. He don't know what's its use but he will keep it as a momento of his battle against the overlord of the fourth layer.
" I am hungry "
Not caring for anything else, he cleaned the beast's body and separated the skin from its meat. He is not afraid of any attack because the fire winged is his only opponent here in the outer area of the forest.
After roasting the meat, roan reviewed his fight against the fire winged tiger. He saw a lot of mistakes in his plans, leading to almost dying.
Meditating for half an hour, Roan is on his peak once again, his wounds are healed already thanks to his natural ability to heal.
He entered the fiery cave, in the middle of the cave is a lake of fire and magma, at the center of it is an egg that is as big as the tiger's head.
"Do tiger's lay eggs?"
A little confuse then he thougth maybe it really layed an egg, maybe because it has wings?
"ahhhh, i will think about it later"
he said and stored the egg that is as big as the tiger's head.
"hmmm, what's next?"
Looking around inside the cave, he found so many cores, but in different colors.
"maybe those of its predecessor's cores?"
Roan thought with question marks on his head.
He also found some fruits that grew near the lake of fire and picked them up. This fruits are pure of fire qi.
Observing the place, he felt that this is a great place to train and to try forging weapons and armors.
"maybe i could learn a new art that is related to forging?"
He wanted to try his luck, maybe, only maybe something good will happen. So roan went back and stored the meat and its part to his storage area while thinking of building a new base here in the fourth layer.
" haixt"
he decided to make the cave as a training area and built a tree house a hundred meters away from it.
