2 Chapter 2

Roan Arsen opened his eyes but what made him shocked are the energies of different elements that are moving in different directions.

Different shades of light are scattered around and this is the first time that his view of this world amazes him.

His body became much vibrant, like something was shattered and waves of newfound energy fills his whole body.

{I don't know what is happening but maybe this is what those martial cultivators perceived in the novels I read before.}

With a clear mind and a warm feeling, he looks around him then seeing the destroyed area hundreds of meters away, he finally remembered the fight of the giants.

Burned trees and grasses, destroyed grounds and sliced trees, it feels like a storm happened in that certain area. He felt weak and realized how weak he is.

"Haixt. Nothing comes from worrying, i need to survive and become stronger." his golden eyes shined and it looks like a burning will flashed for a second.

{First I need to hunt for food, I think that I can atleast hunt small animals if there is a small prey.} deciding that he needed to find food, he tried to climb down but slipped and fall from the tree.

With a scream he tried to maneuver his body and was amazed that he can control his body well and summersaulted down while rolling like a commando soldier he once watched in a movie.

Because of excitement, he laughed out loud and run to a certain direction opposite where the war of giants happened. He don't want to gamble, what if strong beast live there.? He will surely die.

Scouting hundreds of meters around around the north area from his hideout, he saw a small rabbit with a height of one meter, two horns and sharp red eyes. Ofcourse, for Roan, this is just a small animal, compared to the beast last night.

He tried to grab the small animal but the rabbit outrun him, its too fast for a normal rabbit.

{What should i do?hmmmm..... This rabbit is not like your ordinary rabbit back in my past world.haixt. Ofcourse its not ordinary, small?, uhm maybe, for this worlds standard ofcourse. } observing the horned rabbit and having some struggle to clasify if its small and ordinary or not, the horned rabbit runs away, he instinctively controlled the energy around him and coated himself.

Feeling the overflowing qi, and calming his mind, he felt that the horned rabbit that is running away from him slowed down. No. Time slowed. No. His perception is faster making it feels like time slowed.

Feeling shocked and mesmerize, he lose his control over his qi and his perception turned to normal once again.

{Oh, nice, i should concentrate and try to hunt rabbits for now. } with determination, he redo what he did a minute ago .

For hours, Roan tried to familiarize to his new abilities and hunted horned rabbits. Sometimes when he is to succeed, the horned rabbit started to counter attack causing him to stumble many times.

Not surrendering, Roan looked for a makeshift weapon that is made of sharpened stone. Waiting for the right time to ambush the rabbit. Roan, stealthily followed the tracks of the horned rabbits and found two horned rabbits that are mating.

Seeing this as a chance, he silently shortened the distance between them and then he suddenly attacked using his all in a single but accurate and well calculated move.

The horned rabbits felt a threat but before they could react, Roan's stone dagger sliced the heads of the two horned rabbits separating their heads leading to eternal sleep.

"Yippee. !!! I MADE IT!!!!!" Happiness and excitement is painted to the whole being of this little boy. His golden eyes shines like that of a star.

Now that its a success and he now have a food to eat for a while, he is so happy, this is his first successful hunt.

He lifted the two horned rabbits and brought it home. He needed to clean it up and cook it.

After going home and cooking the horned rabbits, Roan ate with smile and tears in his eyes. For his whole life, this is the first time that he even caught something with all his effort.

And the taste of his first victory made the meat of the rabbits more delicious and satisfying. Knowing that some predator would smell the scent of the meat, he cooked it hundreds of meters away from his hideout.

After eating his food, he went back to his hideout to rest.

Going back to his mindscape, he saw a new leaf falling from the tree once again and the white shadow is now weilding a dagger. Moving some stance and slashing with precision.

He realized that this is some kind of dagger weilding martial arts. So he studied it, thankfully his perception is strong eneough, so he learned it faster albeit having some imperfections.

After waking up the next morning. He meditated using the cultivation art he learned from the white shadow.

After meditating, he practiced his dagger weilding for an hour, he rested for a while and meditated once again to replenished his strength.

After all his morning sessions, he decided to once again hunt the horned rabbits. And now hunting for only two hours, he caught twice his last hunt yesterday.

This is his daily routines for a month. The rabbits are no longer a threat to him. His strenght raise a realm, but ofcourse he doesn't know of what realm, his energy changes and being thickened and purified so he thought that he had a breakthrough.

His clothes are no more since three weeks ago so now, he is using his prey's skins as clothes.

After a month of staying here in the forest, he discovered so many wild animals to hunt but they are much stronger than the rabbits, some of his preys are snow foxes, red deer, and fishes from the nearby river.

His home now is inside of the huge tree where he created his makeshift bed. He learned to hunt more and more, he found fruits of different variety but he didn't eat them quickly and tested them using some of his preys and thankfully most of them are edible and sweet, so delicious that he made one of the fruits to his drinks and made a barrel to store them.

For this past month, he is now a real hunter, from being once a clumsy little guy.

*TIME SKIP--------5 MONTHS*

It's been half a year since he is reincarnated to this world. Roan has no idea how he is compared to humans outside of this forest, but right now, he is still so weak, he almost died two months ago.

He fought a two meter tiger with wings that are releasing flames. Roan thought that he is now so strong so he attacked the tiger but he was shocked that with a simple sway of the tiger's paw, he was thrown two hundreds of meters from where he came, his bones are broken and he is vomitting so much blood, thankfully the golden bead healed him but it made him banned from his mindscape for a week.

He needed to meditate for a week just to open his mindscape once again. And he felt that his realm dropped a stage. But this also made his qi purer than before.

So from that moment, he trained and cultivated seriously. And after two months after he was beaten by the fire winged tiger, Roan decided to observe the tiger's den and formulate a plan to beat it.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:

HORNED RABBIT

------------------------>a meter tall rabbit with two horns, agilty type ordinary beast. Can attacked back with its horns as a weapon, also their kicks are strong eneough to kill an ordinary person.

FIRE WINGED TIGER

-----------------------> A rare type of class C rare type beast. This is a mutated version of WINGED TIGER which is a class B common type beast. It can control fire and use its speed to attacked its enemy. Two meters in height and four meters long, this winged tiger is not so big unless it reached the high grade level beast. A big change will happen when this beast reached the high grade beast level.
