21 Recovering strength through battle (Part 1)
Blast! Blast! Blast!
Few minutes after Alusec dived into the ocean, blasting sounds could be heard coming from the ocean as waves of water were being blasted into the air. The impact of the fierce battle occurring underwater created over a hundred meters wide cyclone.
Swwiiisvvee!
Alusec was sent flying out, emerging from the middle of the cyclone with his hand crossed in an 'x' format. His coat was sleeveless and steam was erupting from his arms.
Baanng!
His back slammed into the top area of a fifty meters tall sea mountain.
Crack!
Cracks and fissures started forming on the mountain as parts of it began to crumble and fall into the ocean below.
A hole was formed on the slanted side of the mountain as Alusec body was lodged in by at least fifteen inches deep, the hole formed an outline of his body buried within.
"Ouch" Alusec exclaimed while pulling himself out of the hole.
Since the side of the mountain, he slammed into was slanted, he was able to stand on the surface.
"Game on..." Alusec smirked while inspecting himself. All of a sudden he noticed something and frowned, "Damn it... Ruby is gonna kill me...." Alusec said while staring at his sleeveless coat and holding onto the collar area of his coat. There was a palm-sized hole in the chest area.
"That damn cra..." Before Alusec could complete his sentence there was a loud blast as a large body of water flew up into the air with the massive body of a sea monster shooting out from the ocean.
Boooomm!
The silhouette of a large purplish crab with an armored looking carapace completely blotted out the sun, it's dark shadow looming over the region. Its large body that was launched into the air was headed towards the sea mountain that Alusec slammed into. The body of the purplish crab was twice as large as that sea mountain, it's two red glowing eyes showed it's intense desire to destroy the man with dreadlocks.
Only Alusec knew why the Crab was showing such intense desire to smash him to bits.
Baamm!
The crab's body landed on the sea mountain, smashing it to smithereens. Rock fragments were sent flying in all directions with the mountain collapsing completely into the ocean.
Grupple! Grupple!
sounds could be heard as an uncountable number of rock fragments were sinking into the ocean below.
The intensity in the eyes of the crab finally calmed down thinking he had finally dealt with the meddlesome mortal.
"Divine demolition fist.... first form."
The crab was startled to hear a voice coming from the sky above, just right behind it.
It turned around immediately, slightly bending upwards to look at the man above, wondering why he was still alive and in one piece.
Alusec had already jumped into the ocean before the Crab landed on the mountain. He swam forward at full speed and came out from behind the crab, flying into the air and launching a sneak attack on it.
Right now Alusec was in the air controlling a large wave of water about the size of a train, which was shooting out of the ocean like a javelin, swirling fiercely but slightly bent, forming a huge fist and heading towards the Crab.
Before the crab noticed, it was already a few centimeters away from its face.
Pow!
The fist made of waves of water slammed into the crab. The impact threw the crab into the air, sending it spinning repeatedly crashing through several sea mountains bringing them down in the process until it came to a stop on a slightly bigger sized seamount.
Its body had leveled more than half of this sea mountain, making rocks fall nonstop into the sea.
"Thick bastard," Alusec snorted in discomfort after noticing that apart from blasting the crab away, the punch didn't even manage to crack the carapace of the crab.
Alusec activated another power, "Time flicker," and started flying towards the crab that was yet to recover its senses from the force behind the punch and excessive spinning.
This time Alusec speed was as if he was teleporting, traveling more than a hundred meters in a second. The time flicker ability divided time by two, making Alusec travel twice as fast.
He was already several meters above the crab in the air. Alusec held his left palm out like he wanted to grab something and in the sea below, an outline of a large palm exactly the same way Alusec held his hand out was being formed from the ocean waves, covering the entire sea mountain from beneath.
Clench!
Alusec suddenly clenched his left fist and immediately the hand made up of water grabbed onto the body of the crab, the hand was so large that it was able to hold onto the huge crab like it was holding onto a little chick.
By the time the crab came to he was already being grabbed by a large palm made of seawater and lifted up into the air.
Alusec clenched his right fist now, arching it backward in preparation as a huge gale was forming around his arm.
Swiiiissss
The arm of seawater finally rose to the where Alusec was floating and then...
Pow!
Alusec landed a fierce punch on the carapace of the crab. This time he finally heard a small cracking sound and smiled in pleasure seeing the huge crab getting launched away into the distance again.
"Hands of will,"
Alusec activated another ability and an invisible hand appeared in front of the crab.
Pah!
A slap sent it flying back in the same direction that it was coming from.
Alusec stared at the fast-approaching crab in the sky. He was ready to launch another attack when...
vooommm!
The crab opened it's mouth and spat out a creamy looking liquid towards Alusec. As the liquid traveled in mid-air, steam was being formed in the surroundings.
fwwoooshh!
Alusec swerved, dodging towards the left side. The liquid brushed past him and he could feel the heat coming from it.
The liquid landed in the ocean causing a blast and melting some of the seamounts in that area.
Shhhhhiiiiiiiiissssssssshhiiii!
Sizzling sounds could be heard coming from the area of effect where the liquid landed on. That part of the ocean was evaporating into the air.
The crab fell into the ocean causing a splash but it didn't allow itself to sink. It floated above the surface, staring at Alusec in the sky.
"Tsk!Tsk!" Did you think I'd fall for the same trick twice?" Alusec spoke in ridicule because this was the same attack that sent him out of the ocean earlier.
The crab had a look of disappointment on its face but before it could attack again, it noticed that it was spinning in the water.
A whirlpool was forming around it. The crab leaped forward trying to escape the range of the whirlpool when suddenly a water sprout erupted out of the ocean dragging the crab into it.
The water sprout kept swirling and enlarging until it covered about a hundred meters in the ocean causing fierce waves to form.
Alusec held his chin while staring at the water sprout, "If I could use my lightning right now...." Alusec said while staring at the crab spinning in the water sprout. All of a sudden Alusec smiled, "but who said I can't cause lightning without having my lightning source."
Alusec said while stretching out his hand and raising it to the sky. After performing that action, the water sprout kept rising, until it was already in the clouds.
Dark clouds started gathering over the area, blocking out the light from the sun.
A few moments later a loud thunderclap reverberated across the entire region.
Trtttrraaaaaa!
more thunderclap kept resounding to which Alusec just smiled and watched.
The water sprout kept whirling in the clouds generating fierce winds, causing more dark clouds to appear, then suddenly the water sprout started absorbing the weather in the sky, drawing the lightning from the clouds over, into its body.
Trrrrtrrraaaa!
Thunderbolts traveled across the body of the water sprout, hitting the crab who was still spinning inside it.
The crab had lost its sense of direction and could only be dragged around by the current generated inside the sprout.
The water sprout generated more thunderbolts, striking at the crab repeatedly. The crab's shell kept cracking, although its body was tough, it was still no match for countless lightning strikes.
After several minutes Alusec dispersed the water sprout, returning the sea region back to tranquility.
The dark clouds disappeared and the waves of water in the ocean flowed peacefully once again.
Alusec flew towards where the crab fell.
What greeted his sight was a large purplish crab drifting away with the current of the ocean with a charred black carpace split in half with two missing eyes, two broken pincers, and blue blood oozing out, giving the ocean a contrasting color.
"I can't believe I spent a lot of time dealing with an Eruelis crab which is just at the moon transformation level." Alusec was a little disappointed at his drop in strength.
The eyes of the crab twitched a little, obviously, it was on its last breath.
Just when Alusec turned around he heard a screech! sound come from the crab.
The crab finally breathed it's last after making that screeching sound.
"Hmm?" Alusec noticed something and stared at the horizon.
from about a distance of three hundred meters, ten outlines of waves were seen moving in a straight line headed for the location of the dead crab.
"More company?... I'm guessing they want to avenge their dead comrade." Alusec noticed the group headed towards his direction and smirked.
"Huh?" Alusec sensed danger but it was already too late.
Pitum!
The large pincer of a crab stabbed into his back, piercing through and coming out the middle of his chest area.
Blergh!
Alusec coughed out blood and stared at the piercer that came out through his chest in disbelief.
"How?" He questioned.
