1 Summon

Picking up speed into a full body run I rushed past the people trying to stop me from reaching the man on the road. Managing to barely make it in time I pushed the tub of lard that was in front of me out of the way of the oncoming Ambulance who was in a rush and didn't see the man in the rain in front of it. Smiling feeling as if my life had completed all it needed to do I died peacefully with but a brief moment of pain.

That wasn't the end of my tale however. I woke up in another place surrounded by royalty. The people their seemed to be confused about something, and honestly so was I. "Where is the rest of your party great hero." Blinking a few times as I processed what I heard, and what had just happened to me I realized that I had somehow been reincarnated. I admit it had always of been a dream of mine, but I didn't think it would ever happen to me.

In that moment I had thought about my previous life. I had been a Mafioso who's only reprieve was novels in between my missions. I had caused so much harm in the beginning years of my career. I had broken family's apart, I had killed innocent young men who had their whole lives in front of them. That's why when I eventually took over as a small time boss I used our group to mostly deal with the scum who had missions for their death.

Later on I retired as the job required one to be at their peak in strength and smarts to last. For the next couple of years I did good. Saving people who would die just hoping I could make up for the sins I had committed. Looking at my situation I knew it worked. All the good I tried to do hadn't of been a waste.

"Hero?" Looking at the king their understanding his thoughts for the common lore of the stories about being summoned. "Hello King was it you who summoned me here?" Smiling at finally getting my attention he seemed to be slightly surprised that I was aware of my situation. "So hero where is the rest of your party?"

Smiling myself trying to keep a warm familial impression so I was thought of as harmless I got to my feet from my previous situation on the floor. "I am the party King, the danger of your world was examined before I was sent here and the goddess thought one would be enough to deal with any threat of this world."

To my oblivious thought that was exactly what he goddess thought that sent him their. Mumbling to herself in surprise at the young man subconsciously getting it right she couldn't help but clap in a bit of amazement.

The King understanding what was happening couldn't help but clap in happiness as his kingdom wasn't in as much danger as he thought. Looking kindly at me the King nodded to himself as he changed his training plans for me. "What does your status say young one." Knowing what to do from the books I smiled and said status simply like it was a common phenomena.

Str: Novice- How much strength you can use at a given moment.

Vit: Novice- How well you can resist damage with nothing but your body.

End: Novice- How long you can use your peak strength.

Wis: Adept- Amount of knowledge you have learned classified into age group. Naturally older have the highest wisdom. Unique knowledge of how lots of worlds works also boosts this.

Int: Adept- How fast you learn this things. You are born with this stat but certain rituals can boost this as well as certain medicines and what not.

Charm: Beginner- This stat is how good looking you are to people not how good your body actually looks.

Luck: Senior- This stat deals with how often things will go in your favor. This stat deals with what your heart leans towards if it's good as a interest towards what a world needs to continue onwards then you will have a higher luck stat.

Magic Control: Godly- How well you can control your magic. Godly is one of the highest ranks in existence. You gain this from your class.

Magic Power: Novice- How strong your magic is as a whole before you familiarize and make a specific magic into a skill.

SHkodofj- For other stats you must purchase from the store.

Skills-

Godly Summon- novice- This skill gained from your class Allows you to summon in different ways each with a type of cost. The first summon is free.

(Ps: The ranks go in such a order, Ungraded, Novice, Beginner, Adept, Senior, Master, Grandmaster, Royal, Godly, ???.)

Taking in all the words I look at the King reporting what I have to an extent "Novice Strength, Endurance, Vitality, and Magic Power, I also have Beginner Charm, Adept Wisdom and Intelligence, as well as Grandmaster level control. Hearing the last one the king stopped with a bit of fright as that was the demon lord's level himself after he had gone through rituals and medicines that helped with it. Another frightening point was that most medicine in this world could only be took once as well as rituals so this meant I was a monster who could take over the world as long as I made my magic power stronger.

Remembering my words about me being the only one that was needed to help with the problem the king couldn't help but to nod in agreement. "I am also a Royal Summoner." That of course caused the king almost to fall and faint. Nodding shakily in fear at the title as it had the word Royal in it, a word full of power that's why the kings used the title of Royalty for them and their family. "What can I do for this Royal one for doing us a favor and coming to take care of this threat?" Smiling ensuringly like a benevolent king that made the King in front of me doubt his own position I waved it off calmly like it was but a small thing.

I just wish for a place to settle down when I'm not fighting, and a place to house some of my servants from my class. Hearing that they finally understood the phrase of a "One man Army." "Would you like to be towards the center of the city or would you prefer to be at the outskirts." Hearing his own offer the king finally got back some of his bearing as one. "Wherever you wish to allow me but make sure it's big enough for my summons. I also don't want to be completely removed from society so I wish for at least a couple of neighbors."

Hearing the statement and dancing in pure joy the king immediately got servants to go handle the matter as fast as possible. " There are some things you should know before you leave to your manor in a while. The Demon Lord is someone who has all his stat's at Grandmaster. He's not easy to kill so before you try and fight him make sure your prepared for that. I also wish to tell you to take in mind that he might have possible hidden skills up his sleeves. If you detect danger from him ever in a battle leave immediately. We wish to win the war not a battle after all."

Taking in the message I left considering what to do. That's when I remembered my summons. Following the servants I was eventually led to a manor that seemed to have been recently in use but was abandoned most likely just a couple weeks before I had arrived. Going over to the court yard of the place I started setting up a summoning circle by using a stick and drawing a symbol in the yard. Pouring all my Magic Power into the circle that I could muster keeping it in complete control as it circled the pathway's of the circle without leaking I wondered what would appear in front of me.

Of course it ended up being a slime. Blinking a few times at the blue slime that was in front of me I wondered what to do with it. Then I noticed a menu over top of the monster that read upgrade. Laughing hysterically as I knew what this meant I took a look at the monsters stats planning to use it to kill the Demon Lord after all what better way to day than by the weakest monster in all novels and stories minus a specific one where the main character was the slime.

Vit: Senior- need to destroy the core to kill the beast, once killed as a summon beast it can be revived later at the cost of it's original summoning.

End: Senior- Slime's move so slow that their energy is used slower than they regenerate it.

Magic Control: Beginner- Slimes use magic to keep their body's together when something slashes them or bursts them apart.

Magic Regeneration: Novice- Slimes naturally regenerate Magic Power quickly so they can keep putting their bodies back together.

Magic Power: Novice- They only use magic to keep their bodies together.

Magic Gathering: Senior- The skill of using Magic Power to put your self back together, Literally.

Looking at all the stats and the skill I started planning on how to use it. At that moment I heard a gasp from behind me. Turning around with caution I saw a girl sitting on a chair that had seemingly been brought from nowhere, and beside her was a butler of a man who I recognized from the throne room earlier. The man bowing down introduced himself. "This lowly servant is Seferis, and this young lady on my side is princess Ruby." Looking at her hair that was black with red ends I couldn't help but wonder how that came to be in this other world. Noticing my eyes she fidgeted a bit as she knew most thought of her hair that was naturally two colors as a bit freaky even in this world of magic, give or take it wasn't to weird as this world also contained demons, succubus, goblins, and other such races, but it was still a noticeably unique trait for this world.

Noticing her nervous eyes and figuring out the girl was conscience about her hair I walked up to her and did a slight bow in acknowledgment, and kissed her hand as I knew nobles were portrayed in many stories to favor such a greeting as long as it wasn't from someone low class. considering my stance in the kingdom however I knew it would be received favorably. Sure enough it did as the girl regained her earlier joyful and innocent appearance. "Greetings Princess Ruby, I couldn't help but notice how wonderful you look today."

The man on the side couldn't help but notice my keen insight and nodded to himself at my actions. "Sensible, smart, powerful, young man. He should be perfect for my princess." Unaware of such thoughts I continued to converse. Loosing track of time I noticed the slime had finally made it's way to the rest of us. The butler about to step up and kill the monster considering it dangerous in the presence of a woman considering their habit of eating cloth based items stopped when I waved him off. Putting my hand down for him to come up my arm the butler stood still as he realized it was a summon of the man before him. A summon that wouldn't desummon either from the looks of it as well. Putting that note into his mind confirming that just that would change the tide of a war given enough time the man grew a little excited at the thought of the war finally being over.

Putting away any thought of me possibly being unworthy the man decided I was needed right now as the princess' husband. Currently unaware at the time of the butlers plan's I though it was just a whim that brought the princess here out of curiosity as that was part of the tale she was telling me about. Smiling I brought everyone into the mansion so we would have a place to sit down for all of us, well at least me and the princess. So with a slime on my shoulder we went.
