Not Just A Passing Cloud. The Invader

It came from nowhere. Merging with the planet's atmosphere.

Among the heavy rain, came a huge dark cloud that rushed down from above to the center most radius of Mobliac. It's edges were swirling around in a wavey pattern, with a cold breeze that spread wide out in the open. Some form of strange noises were heard from within ; It was utter dark, so nothing could be seen from the outside.

The whole of Mobliac can just plainly see the huge cloud.

It gathered the attention of millions in just a matter of seconds because none of the people here have seen such an unlikely weather.

Slowly, the fog filled cloud was expanding which almost appeared like it was swallowing the planet bit by bit as it set out.

THE MOBLIAC MILITARY UNIT ( MMU ) :

" MAJOR ! The cloud is approaching the base at an insane speed and also the weather report states that, its a wild type of cyclone " One of the control panel operators yelled out.

" This is definitely not an ordinary disaster, even if we operate at our full potential, I don't think we'll be able to divert the cloud in time. " Major Hugh claimed to his team.

" Is there anything we can do about this ? " The Leader Of Squad:A Nico queried from behind.

" Warn the citizens to stay indoors and we'll think of something after that. First we need to ensure safety to the people. " Hugh said firmly as he stood tall and his long braided hair flowing freely with the cold breeze outside. He was an old man, aged 48, who has been serving as a Major for more than 27 years. All of his missions and battles were successful despite this one probably...

Everything was falling apart.

The dark cloud demolished every structure that was in front of it, leaving only chunks of remains. The amount of power it held was beyond abnormal...

" Is it the end of time? " people thought to themselves.

Many unlucky ones got sucked into the cyclone and thrown out to death. Children to grown men... All of them were nothing but a helpless piece of life, a tiny part of this massive destruction.

The rain poured much more heavily; cold and furiously.

" ATTENTION ! ALL CITIZENS ARE STRICTLY ORDERED TO STAY INDOORS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. NO ONE SHOULD WANDER OUT FOR ANOTHER 24 HOURS. I REPEAT...! " A loud voice was heard from the City Speaker that warned everyone. But.

The weather kept going wild...A near to thousands were missing and dead. Wiped out from its sight.

A wounded man was still around a dangerous region. He was laying next to a bright purple portal gate, unaware about the situation... He was an elderly man wearing a black coat. As it approached closer to him, the late realisation and the wounds made it harder for him to run, forcing him to stay like a stone. The man was scared for his life, and that's when he turned around to see... A thin opening of light broke out from the cloud. The light was flickering, then it stopped and pointed directly at him. His eyes opened wide. Unexpectedly...

The beam of light caught him and phased through his body like a ghost.

" AAHHHHHHHHHHHH ! " He wailed loudly.

The light was absorbing something out of him... It looked like a dark wave with a heating effect at each sides of the light; It penetrated through the back of his body.

That's when the man's cry of pain stopped completely.

He quietly uttered something and his soul departed from his body and he died, just like that.

" What in the hell was that....!? " Major Hugh was stunned, as he witnessed the incident from the Tall Tower Of The Control Panel.

" Am I dreaming or something..? " Nico and everyone doubted the situation. The incident was like something out of a movie. Everyone were in total disbelief. And they were terrified... Terrified.

" Major. " a quiet yet deep voice, called out his name.

" Wh..." Hugh turned back without asking what, as he recognised the deep voice instantly. It was one of his favoured candidate, Espen. He came back with the same grey suit he wore last time, back to when everything was normal...

" Espen...? weren't you supposed to take your day off? " Hugh was a little confused.

" Im fine Major. My illness has gone down. " Espen said briefly.

" Always good to hear soldier.. " Hugh told back with a smile.

" Our probability of surviving this climate is lesser than zero " Espen added on. This statement made his smile rot as he never believed in defeat.

" What are you saying Esp... "

" Major! look at that. It looks like something is rotating inside of the foggy cloud. " The Operator interrupted Hugh.

The dark cloud started to seperate a little and something was vaguely visible. It was rotating left and right.

The thunder had become violent

" Major. The cloud is approximately 3 kilometers away from our base. But it has started to spread across and also has slowed down, so I think we must be safe for awhi..... An Eye?! " The operator stopped suddenly.

" An Eye? What do you mean ? " Hugh asked as he was looking out the glass pane....

Hugh could see the dark clouds clearing away... And to his suprise, it indeed was..an eye ball.

One Huge Eyeball... Levitating in the air looking right and left for something; it had a texture of a shadow. It moved quickly. The Eye was blinking.

" WHAT THE....! " Everyone yelled . A loud conversation broke out between them.

" One Big Eyeball !? How is that even possible? " Nico's voice was heard a little louder than the rest of them.

Everyone stood there in dismay.

Wondering what worse is yet to come. They have not seen such a thing.

" What is all this ? " Hugh could hear his thoughts speaking to him, giving him a fear of death for the first time in years

The Eyeball kept blinking rapidly. It was one big grey colored eye with dark circles around it which shined. The Eye turned front and caught sight of The Tall Tower.

" It's looking at us. " Nico stated the obvious. " What do we do now? "

The clouds were rushing away from The Eye spreading to the other parts of the city.

The Eye had already moved a lot closer to the base.

" WHAT!? Did that just phase through the skyscraper ! " The operator said it out loud interrupting their talk.

But then it stopped and looked at a chunk of people who were hidden under a store. It somehow sensed them. Most of it were women and kids. The bright beam of light appeared again, but not only one. This time, The Eye had several openings of light and it phased through all of them just like it did to the man. Sucking out each of their soul one by one to feed itself. All of them dropped dead the next instant. The dark waves from out of their bodies went straight into The Eye.

The Eye, then closed itself.

The clouds were disappearing but it still was dark as night.

Hugh and everyone in the room just stood there in silence, refusing to believe what all has happened.

" I've Returned. " A voice arose from near The Eye.

A voice so bold and growly. A voice no one has ever heard but a voice the entire world could hear .

" I'll Avenge Everything Again. "

It was not too long for Hugh and the others to realise, the voice came from nowhere near The Eye but came directly from The Eye itself...
