Getting that type of information just minutes after I supposedly died is kind of jarring. It took me a serious moment to get a hold of myself, but when I finally came to, I saw Orious looking at me with patience. Looking at him, I kind of wondered what he was, or how he was formed, or birth? Whatever way Gods are born.

As I was about to ask him, he stopped me with a raised hand and spoke. "I know what you're wondering, 'Which am I?'. Well, I am something in between. I can't remember life before becoming a God, but I can sense that there is something beyond my memories that I just can't access yet."

With that, I nodded, before moving onto something else that he spoke of when explaining how I got here, divinities. "What is divinity?" I asked with uncertainty. When I asked that, he looked incredulous.

"Well divinity is what makes a God… a God. It is also what sustains us, gives us life and power. Its also how we are able to exist without completely destroying reality, because it also restricts our power. Divinity is like… a managing force in the universe. It can't manage the universe on its own, so it creates us, Gods, beings that manage, control, or represent specific parts of the universe."

I nodded, before remembering that Gods are very much connected with humans, more than it should be necessary from that explanation. "But how does that fit in with Gods being worshipped by humans?"

He looked at me with an amused face, obviously finding something funny with my statement. "Gods aren't worshipped by humans, we are worshipped by all mortals, even by some Gods, at least the ones that believe we exist. And as for being worshipped by mortals, well Gods tend to have a big ego, and they like having it stroked from time to time, or for all of time. Its also because we can become stronger from the mortal's faith in us, we all use faith as a way to refine and strengthen our divinities, making us stronger, letting us evolve.–"

"–But enough about that, we need to get you ready to meet the Godking and officially join our pantheon of Gods. But first, your room." He said as he got up from the couch, the glass and bottle of booze disappearing as if they never existed. He walked towards the hall and gestured at me to follow him when he saw me not getting up. He led me to the front entrance and began giving me a tour of the mansion.

This thing is huge, as in massive. It took us around three hours just to finish the downstairs tour, and then another hour and a half to finish the upstairs tour. In that other hour and a half, he showed me my room, which is also huge, decorated with gold carvings and what looked like expensive paintings. My bed could multiple dozen people sleeping comfortably on it, without getting entangled in each other. It even had a loving room on it own, along with a kitchen, and multiple other rooms for servants and butlers.

With that out of the way, Orious took me outside, upon which I saw something that truly shocked me to my very core. Trees, birds, fauna and flora, beautiful trees and singing birds, rustling winds, creating a truly picturesque scene. Before it was suddenly and mercilessly taken from me when Orious teleported and gave me a view of a marketplace.

I looked at him with some grievance, which he completed ignored, asking me to follow him. Forgetting about the picturesque scene in my mind for a moment, I looked around while following Orious, which gave me much appreciation. Because apparently Gods have a marketplace, but not an online marketplace, like an actual, marketplace, where other Gods try and sell their products.

Their products being truly obscure things, like a Divine Pedestal, which apparently gives the person stepping on it a sense of praise and worship. Its strange because these people are already getting worship and praise, but apparently, it's a hot item among the less know minor Gods and Goddess. I also saw a bow which will fire any arrow towards to person that they most want to meet, or thing they desire the most. Or a donkey that was talking about getting fucked in the ass. Or the wheel cart that transformed into a fifteen-meter dildo that also came with a door in between the balls. Or the–

Never mind.

[Fifteen Minutes Later]

The most weird fifteen minutes of my life in that marketplace, but eventually we reached a small brick house, with a small line of Gods and Goddess waiting in a queue. We skipped the entire line, which gave me pause for a moment, before just shrugging and continuing to follow Orious.

We walked into the building, which was bigger inside than outside, and also had a much larger line. We, again, skipped the entire line, and walked towards a door at the side of the front counter. When the staff looked at us, they first looked at me before looking at Orious and then shrugging.

Orious also ignored them, and kicked open the door, entering this backroom with a boisterous laugh. "HAHAHA, Gidon, my friend, how are you doing?" He said loudly, getting some snickers from the group of blacksmiths and an audible sigh from a mountain of a man sitting at the very back.

"Wow, how do you work in this environment, it's so hot here. You know, I could bring you to some place nice, like a beach, or a freezer." Orious said, when he felt the massive rise in temperature when he opened the door and entered the room.

*Sigh* "What are you doing here Orious, you already have a weapon, and there has been no need for one in eons." The mountain at the back of the burning room said, when he turned around, revealing a clean-shaven middle-aged face and bald head. His muscles were literally bulging without him doing anything, it felt like they would burst anytime now, especially when he stood up, reaching up to the roof that was almost 8 feet high.

"Come on, Gidon, my old friend. Why can't I just visit you once in a while?" Orious said while touching glowing hot metal, burning hot water from the steam its radiating, and some other random stuff on the tables, and not even wincing at the heat.

"Because you have been visiting me every single day." Gidon said, while setting his equipment on some shelf, holding other smithing tools. He then walked towards another door at the corner of the room, throwing a glance at me then completely ignoring me. Orious followed him, and I followed Orious, into the door, that now held normal temperatures. I immediately noticed that neither me, nor Orious even felt the change in temperature or the heat coming from those dozens of furnaces.

Forgetting about that for the moment, I watched and listened to the exchange between the two of them. Gidon walked into the room and went behind a wooden desk, before sitting down on his rolling chair. Orious went straight for one of the two chairs before the wooden desk, while also gesturing me to have a seat next to him.

"So, what can I help you with?" Gidon asked, on his face a small but exhausted smile while looking at Orious.

"Well, I recently got myself caught in some trouble and they placed the new kid in my care, you know how it goes. So, I need a Holder for the kid before his ceremony with the All-Father. Do you think you could make one for him in a couple of hours? His ceremony is tomorrow, and I can't think of a better smith to work on this than you." Orious said, beginning with a complicated look on his face, before turning more serious, then a soft smile appeared on his face.

Gidon just looked at Orious for a while before he sighed and opened a drawer on the side of his desk, rummaged through some papers, and took out a small black ball. He turned to me and said, "Kid, place a part of your divinity into this."

"Wait, wait. What ceremony, and what's a Holder?" I asked while raising my hands to stop them from talking. I looked at Orious, who just sighed and said, "I'll tell you later, for now just place your divinity into this." He pointed at the small black ball.

"No, no, no, no, no. Not until you tell me what you by my ceremony and what a Holder is." I said with determination and seriousness. Orious stayed quite for a few seconds before just huffing and spoke.

"Fine, fine. The ceremony is the time that you will be integrated into our pantheon of Gods, the Kondaris Pantheon, by our Godking. It's a ceremony that needs to happen to every God that is born, because a God without a pantheon is basically just walking and talking refined divinity for other Gods. The All-Father needs a speck of your dull divinity to integrate into the Godforce, and since you can't make dull divinity, being a new-born and all, we older Gods make a place to hold and dull your divinity for you, priming you to join the Godforce."

Wow. Just… wow. Ok, I understood at least some of that, and Orious looks pretty annoyed from explaining that. So, lets just let them do their thing. So, I nodded and asked, "Ok, and how do I give this thing my divinity."

"Just concentrate on the ball and try to feel something inside yourself, then move it into the ball. But only a small part." With that, I nodded, and before closing my eyes to–

"Wait, wait." Orious stopped me, getting me to look up and accidently see Gidon have a disappointed look on his face while looking at Orious.

"Before you do that, I need to tell you that you should not give other Gods your divinity under any circumstance, unless the All-Father tells you to. Understood?" He said and asked with a much too serious expression, which got me to quickly nod and get back to concentrating.

With my eyes closed, I began to concentrate on myself, on my whole being, which happened rather quickly. Just seconds after, I began to feel something inside myself, something split into four different sections, but all being the same thing, or rather, they all hold something that represents the same thing, me.

Letting go of those thoughts, I grab onto a small piece of this something inside myself and will it into my hand. Opening my eyes, I see on my raised hand, small flashes of light, along with small thunder eruptions constantly in this light ball.

"Good, now carefully guide it into the ball." I nod and look at the black ball, before putting my hand over it, and slowly guiding the energy on my hand into the ball. When I felt all the energy that I held gone, I looked at the ball to find it sparkling with electricity and baring small sounds of thunder, but fully colored white.

"That's some control you got there kid. It took three tries the first time that I had to do this. And I'm a greater God." Gidon said, looking at the small object in his hands with mild fascination and amusement. Then he looked over at Orious and said, "I'll have it done by tomorrow morning."

Orious sighed and nodded before suddenly smiling brightly and asking, "So, have you got what I asked for last time? Or are you still working on it." Gidon looked at Orious with a shocked face before suddenly rolling his chair to a shelf of tools on his wall and pressing a red button on it.

With that, Orious was gone, I was alone with Gidon in this room. Gidon sighed and looked at me, "He should be outside right about now, or still in the process of diving." I nodded dumbly and just stood there, "What are you waiting for, an invitation, get out." I quickly nodded while getting up from the chair and leaving the building, only to find Orious with a crazy smile on his face waiting for me.

"Now that that's taken care of, we have the rest of the day free. So, I should start teaching you how to control your divinity, and Divine Energy better." He said, which got me excited at the idea of being able to control the sky, the weather, lightning and thunder.
