The reporters gathered in the mixed zone had dispersed, with no players waiting there for the reporters. The focus was no longer on them now.

In the press room at the San Siro Stadium, a rather special press conference was being held. The Inter Milan manager, Mourinho sat on the left-hand side while the Nottingham Forest manager, Tony Twain sat on the right-hand side.
