Although both teams were located in the city of Liverpool, Liverpool Football Club was more well-known and had won more championships than their fellow city rival, Everton. But in fact, the glorious Liverpool originally split from Everton. It was a little like the mighty pair of AC Milan and Inter Milan in Milan.
