4 Yin Tao

'Nixie!' A soft voice began to resound inside a dark place. It was the voice of a man.

'Nixie? Who is that? Who is there?' Shi Xing's voice also began to resound in the darkness. Although she was confused, for some unknown reason, she felt pain and happiness the voice.

The darkness that lacked any light began to slowly fade away. A small crack which looked like the horizon of setting sun slowly appeared.

Opening her pretty eyes, Shi Xing slowly got up from what seemed like a bed. She felt a little confused before looking around. A white curtain, small bed, and even some medical supplies.

"W-where am I?" Shi Xing looked around with some confusion. "Ouch!" Suddenly, she felt a throbbing pain in her head. She couldn't help but bring her small, fair hand towards her throbbing head.

As she rubbed her head with a small pout, she tried to recall what happened. Memories began to fill her head as she remembered what happened. 'So, someone knocked me out?' She felt a little frustrated. She was only minding her own business, now she was late to get to her own business.

"I am going to be late. I need to go back to work." She began to panic a little as she quickly removed the thin blanket from her body. When she completely took the blanket off, she found herself wearing hospital clothing. 'What the heck!? Why am I wearing these clothes? Didn't I only get knocked unconscious? There shouldn't be a need for such an extreme measure.'

Shi Xing began to look around for her clothing. Walking around in a hospital gown made her feel extremely uncomfortable, however, the idea of some person she didn't even know, putting these clothes on her made Shi Xing feel extremely uncomfortable. Even if the person was a doctor, she still found herself feeling somewhat disgusted.

As she was frantically searching for her clothes, the white curtains flung open. "Oh, Miss Shi Xing, you are up? You should try and get some rest." A woman with a long ponytail walked in from the curtains. Her long brown hair is tied in such a way, mixed with her glasses made her look extremely professional. She had a beautiful face, and even the doctor's white robe she wore couldn't cover her mature body.

"Doctor, what happened? I just got hit in the head, right? So why am I wearing these clothes?" Seeing that the doctor was a female, she couldn't help but calm her heart. If the person who changed her clothes was a male, she would have buried herself thousands of feet below the earth.

"Well, there was actually a little more to it. When you were hit in the head, a weird reaction began to occur from you. You became extremely pale, and you would even begin to tremble and shake excessively." When Shi Xing heard this, she couldn't help but feel shocked.

"When you mean tremble, do you mean I got a seizure?" Shi Xing could only come to this conclusion.

"Well, there were some similarities, however, it wasn't a seizure. It just seemed to be like a very bad nightmare. You seemed very frightened and would even struggle strongly against us." When the doctor said this, she couldn't help but shake her head slightly.

"Doctor, why do you think this is the case? I have been healthy my whole life, so I shouldn't be having these types of problems." Shi Xing felt a little worried. If she began to develop some serious medical problems, that would cost her money. This was not something she could do.

"Don't worry, it doesn't seem to be anything with your physical condition. Since you were unconscious, we had someone call your mother. With her permission, we conducted some small tests and found that you are perfectly fit." The doctor smiled towards Shi Xing.

"Mother? My mother is here as well?" Shi Xing couldn't help but sigh in relief. If her mother was here, then most things would be fine.

"Miss Shi Xing, although your physical condition is normal, what we worry about is your mental state. The mind is hard to test on, so I would like to ask you some questions that would allow me to better understand the situation." Shi Xing nodded her head.

"Go ahead, doctor." The doctor nodded her head and pulled out a notepad. She had Shi Xing sit on the bed, while she herself sat onto her chair.

"Alright, your answers will remain and no one without your permission would be allowed to see them, not even your parents." Shi Xing already knew about things like this. "Is there any sort of violence in your home? Do your parents fight in front of you or do you get any abuse from your parents?"

These types of questions were extremely normal for doctors to ask. Shi Xing quickly shook her head and continued to answer the rest of the questions. It took about ten minutes for everything to be completed.

"Alright, from what we have here, all I can conclude for now is that you are overly stressed. You are physically healthy, however, your mind is very tired. This causes you to develop nightmares and anxiety." Shi Xing listened, however, didn't really put much thought into the information being told to her. She already knew that stress was a problem for her, however, there was no time for her to rest. Life was filled with stress, however, that was no excuse to sit around and do nothing.

Shi Xing only smiled at the doctor before walking towards the white curtain. Then a thought struck her. "Doctor, I was wondering. I was unconscious on a sidewalk, so who brought me here?" When the doctor heard this, she couldn't help but giggle.

"Look for your mother, he should be there as well." Shi Xing scratched her head confusingly, however, the expression on her face was extremely cute. The doctor couldn't help but smile, however, she didn't say anything more.

Shi Xing walked out the curtains with an expression of confusion. Right when she got out, a figure dashed towards her. "Mom!" She couldn't help but feel a little frightened. Being jumped out of the blue was sometimes surprising.

"My little girl, are you alright?" Jiang Wen couldn't help but inspect her daughter thoroughly, however, this caused her to feel very embarrassed. She had already changed back into her clothing, but she felt a little weird being inspected in public.

"Mom, it's alright. I am okay." Shi Xing couldn't help but shake her head while her face carried a helpless smile. Her parents were always extremely protective of her, so she knew that her being unconscious probably gave them a fright.

When Jiang Wen was done looking at her daughter, she nodded her head with a relieved smile. She then turned around and pulled her daughter's hand. "Mom?"

"Don't you want to thank the person who brought you here? He is a very kind person, plus also very handsome." Jiang Wen spoke with satisfaction, however, Shi Xing only shook her head.

The both of them finally arrived at the exit of the clinic. Before the doors, there was a seating area on the left. Jiang Wen pulled Shi Xing towards that place. "Mom, I can walk by myself too." Shi Xing spoke helplessly. She felt as though she was back to the time when she was a child. Although she didn't hate it, she was now an adult. Being pulled along by her mother was somewhat embarrassing for her.

Jiang Wen continued to pull her along, not caring about her words. Finally, they reached the seating area. They stood behind a man who had short chocolate hair. He was wearing a black suit, however, he was facing the other way, so they couldn't see his face.

"Mister Yin Tao." Jiang Wen called out.

The man turned around when he heard the voice. As his face slowly began to show, even Shi XIng felt a little flustered at the Yin Tao's looks. A porcelain face that seemed to be carved from master sculptures. His jaw was chiseled and his making his face look extremely manly. His rare emerald eyes looked calm yet mysterious. Overall, the man was extremely handsome, almost perfect.

"Miss Jiang Wen, why are you still calling me mister? You can just call me Yin Tao or even Tao." The man had a bright smile on his face, showcasing his white teeth.

"Alright, Yin Tao." Jiang Wen couldn't help but smile with satisfaction. "This here is my daughter Shi Xing. You brought her to this clinic, so she would like to express her thanks." Jiang Wen couldn't help but slightly tug Shi Xing forward.

Shi Xing was indeed mesmerized by the man in front of her, however, she collected herself quickly before putting on a professional smile. "Thank you mister Yin Tao for bring me to the clinic. I am very grateful." Shi Xing did a slight bow.

When Yin Tao saw how Shi XIng looked, he couldn't help but feel somewhat shocked. Although he did bring her to the clinic, he was unable to see her face properly. Now that he saw it, even he felt somewhat flustered.

"It was my pleasure. Don't mention it. Plus, it was my fault that you were knocked unconscious." Yin Tao said with a smile.

Shi Xing then thought back to the voice she heard when she was walking. That voice, which was filled with vulgarities, was exactly the same as Yin Taos. "Y-you are that man? The one who kept spewing such nasty words?!" Silence.
