1 Waking up from a Dream

There's been this strange dream I keep seeing after I sleep every now and then, it was about a time when Father and I woke up because of a thunderstorm and as we went out of the house to see what was happening.

There stand in front of out house, a man covered in black hooded fur; Lightning danced around him as some of it were coming out of the hammer that was being hanged in his belt and Father would always ask the man "WHO ARE YOU?" the man mutters something but I can't hear it and the dream would end there.

Today when I woke up, Father was already in his hunting gear and was about to leave the house.

"Father, can I come hunting with you?" I said as I look at the Axe that was hanging in his back.

This Axe killed many monsters during our journey to scatter Mom's ashes; Draugrs, He-Walkers, Trolls, Wolves, Ogres, Revenants, Wulver, Nightmare, Dark Elves, Ancients, Tatzelwurms and even Dragons. Maybe I'm not suited to wield it but I had a chance to use it when Father was stuck at the PILLAR OF LIGHT when we were in Alfheim, although I still can't make it go back to my hands since it's still not mine; I was still able to wield it but maybe I'm not really suited for it.

"I don't really need any help boy. You can start picking the vegetables in the backyard and start processing them if you want. By the time I get back we can start cooking." Father said as he walked out of the house.

By the way my name is Atreus, I'm a half God, half Giant and Half Mortal. My Father Kratos is a God, I don't know which God of but he's very strong, maybe he's a God of Fighting or something. He didn't mention it to me though, he just said that he's a God. My Mom was a Giant, although she kept it hidden from us all along and my Mortal part was from my Father, since his mother was a mortal.

I also don't know what my powers are but I already have a sturdy body compared to normal mortals and since I'm a part Giant I also have super strength, not comparable to father though. I went to our backyard to gather the vegetables which were planted by me when we went back home.

I processed them and washed them. When father got back he was carrying a huge deer in his back, we cooked it and ate it afterwards. We pass our days like that, except for from time to time that we slaughter of some Draugrs that strays to our house. Night came and I slept again, I slowly close my eyes and let my consciousness wander into the void, as I slowly drift away from my body I heard a voice of a girl ringing in my ears.

"Help! If someone can hear me. Please help me."

I follow the voice of the girl and then I saw a little girl that was being bound inside a cave. I tried speaking to her but then I just remembered that I'm just a floating consciousness right now and I also tried touching her too but it was also useless I was suppose to went to my body to wake up but I was stunned in what I heard.

"I know you're here, I can't mistake this kind of magic. You're a giant right, please help me I'm also a giant." The girl said as she tried to shape shift but was stopped by the chains that bound her.
