8 Chp. 6

Fane could not keep his mind from going through a million thoughts a second. He honestly felt like he was about to explode. He stood up abruptly. He dashed through the front door to the house, ignoring the fact that he broke the door in half. Fane shifted into his wolf, shaking his body. 'I need to blow off some steam or kill something… Maybe both..' Was the thought that came to him. Sniffing the cool night air, Fane caught the scent of a few supernatural creatures a few miles away from Beacon Hills. So without a word, the white wolf took off like a bullet. A few seconds later he was in front of a camp site. Fane looked at the scene in front of him in amusement. There were maybe around 20 people in the group. To the everyday person you could not tell anything was amidst, but Fane knew better. Every single one was a vampire. They were all laughing, drinking, and having some sort of party. Fane quietly shifted back to his human form. 'This should be fun' Fane thought menacingly. The music died down and Fane heard who he thought to be the leader of this coven of Vampires. "Attention everyone!" The group all quieted down. "Tonight we add to our coven!" The leader stepped out in front of everyone. His long brown hair and suit made him look like a cliché vampire a kid would have thought of. Everyone cheered! "We will grow our numbers. Then our next step will be taking out these wolves. I am tired of having to stay in the shadows just because these Alphas think they own everyone and thing!" *cheers* "First on my list is Beacon Hills." Gasps came from his coven. 'What about the Hales' Could be heard in murmur and whispers. "Silence!" The leader scream with the vein popping out on his forehead. "The Hale pack is currently under a new Alpha. Derek Hale. I would be able to handle him and whatever kind of pack the young wolf has by myself." He let his word sink into there head. "But I want to have my coven ready to make the move on the wolves. We just need more numbers!" The group erupted with cheers again. Fane decided he heard enough of the rambling. He couldn't care less if the group actually succeeded in their goal. They just had the worst possible luck to have Fane run into them. 'Time for the fun.' Fane started to make his way to the group. As they were about to start partying again the leader grabbed his liquor bottle. "Let's do it!" He shouted. But as he lifted his bottle in the air to cheer the group, an arm and hand busted through his chest holding his heart. Everything went silent. Fane with his clawed hand squeeze and popped it. Dropping the body, he turned his attention to everyone else. "Finally he stopped talking." Fane said almost sounding bored. A blond hair lady vampire jumped at Fane with her fangs hissing at him. Figuring it was the leaders queen or concubine, Fane caught her by the neck. Without missing a beat, Fane drove his fangs into her neck and drank greedily. With all the thoughts in his head and the problem with Decaulion, he couldn't stop drinking. When the woman vampire was out of blood he dropped her and wiped his mouth. "Ahh." He exclaimed with a sigh. "What are you? You're not a normal vampire." Someone amongst the remaining vampires asked. Fane just chucked and answered, "Got a little vamp in me, got a little wolf in me too. " Fane announced to them. "Impossible." Was the only thing they could say. Fame just shrugged, "Yet here I am." Fane said as he shifted slowly to his beast Alpha werewolf. He towered over everyone of the vampires in the group. He roared and vibrated the ground around them. Before they had a chance to think Fane was on them and the slaughter had began….

Fane was making his way back to Beacon Hills through the forest covered in blood from the vampires that were just massacred. 'Derek can thank me later.' Fane thought amused with himself. Fane was feeling a little bit better now that he took out some frustrations. Wiping the remaining blood from his mouth. As he was walking, Fane suddenly felt a presence behind him. He continued not paying any attention considering he knew that whatever it was couldn't hurt him. The only noise that was heard was a branch that snapped. *Growl* Raising his eye brow at the threat of the growl, Fane turned around. At first Fane thought it was a greyish-brown wolf but looking closer at the smaller size he figured it was actually a coyote but not a normal one. As he noticed the werecoyotes eye shift to a blue color. When the two made eye contact He felt an instant connection to this werecoyote which made him gasp and take a step back. Fanes heart beat picked up slightly and a heat feeling rose to his cheeks. All his body wanted to do was stick his hand and brush it through the beautiful coat of the creature. 'What is this feeling?' Fane thought to himself. He only ever felt this way toward Laura and that took a few years to develop. He looked beyond the animal and saw the cave with what looked like some belongings and a teddy bear. "Ah, I apologize. I didn't notice this was your home." Fame stated. The werecoyote continued to growl and snap its teeth at him; even as Fane tried to make his way passed. Finally having enough of this stranger invading its territory and not understanding the feelings she was going through either , the coyote jumped to attack Fane. Jumping out of the way to the left, Fanes eyes turned red. "Stop!". Asserting his alpha dominance and towering over the smaller animal. Fane didn't want to chance himself hurting her. The werecoyote just whimpered never having dealt with such a powerful creature before. She bent down and laid her head at his feet. He knelt down and with his right hand started to pet her head. "Can you shift for me? I'm not here to hurt or fight you." Fane said with a calm and soft voice. She sat up and tilted her head. "You can't?" She just whimpered some more. "How long have you been stuck out here?" He asked not expecting a reply. But to his surprise and shock he heard a small voice in his head: 'It feels like forever…' "How are you doing that? Talking to me telepathically?" Fane rambled off his questions. He never experienced this before. 'You can hear me? I'm not really sure… I'm not used to being around anyone but I feel some type of pull… or connection to you..' She softly said back to him. "Beacon Hills keeps throwing these surprises at me." Fane spoke more to himself than her. After sitting in silence for a few minutes Fane asked,: "What's your name, love? I'm Fane." 'Malia.. Malia Tate..' "That is a beautiful name.." Fane couldn't stop himself from saying with a smile. A confused look came over him as he coughed into his fist. He almost felt ashamed for feeling this way so soon after Laura. "Are you able to shift back?" 'No.. I never even knew I could or would be like this. I was in a car accident with my mom and sister… the next thing I knew I had killed them both. I came out here and that's where I have stayed.' Malia spilled her story to Fane. She still could comprehend what these feelings were but she felt like she could tell him her darkest secrets and he wouldn't judge. It felt almost nice to get it off her chest to someone. "Do you want to stay like this? Or do you want to have the choice to shift?" He asked her simply, brining her out of her thoughts. Thinking for a split second, 'Please help me'. He knelt down again, looking straight into her glowing blue eyes as his were glowing red. "Shift." Fane commanded as he stepped back and watched as the transformation started taking over. After a few minutes of struggling on the ground, Fane finally got a good look at Malia and he lost his breath again. That same feeling he felt earlier came back again. He watched as she stood up with her athletic and lean body. He noticed she was tall and had her brown hair like her coyote, even if it was a little crazy right now. She stood in front of him naked but all he could look at was her beautiful face and brown eyes that seemed to be hinting with amusement. "Are you done staring?" She asked with a confident smirk. Fane just gawked and cough again. "Um right. So what are your plans now? Gonna live out here?" Fane asked the newly shifted human girl. Covering her breasts she thought for a second. "Well I'm sure my dad still lives around here but I can't stay like this there? What if I do the same thing to him as I did the other member of the family? I can't kill all of them!" She almost shouted at Fane. She started shaking and tears started to form. On instinct Fane pulled her into his chest for a hug. "Shhh, I got you love…" He rubbed the her back gently. "I have a house with a couple rooms that are open. You are more than welcome to stay with me." He invited her. She looked at him in shock but she could also feel it coming from him. "Are you sure Fane?" She asked looking up into his eyes. He felt his knees get weak. He pulled back, swiftly taking his shirt off and putting it on her to cover her body. "Of course. Let's go" They both turned around to start walking to Beacon Hills but on Malia first step she fell straight to the ground. "Oops looks like you need to get use to two legs again." Fane chuckled as he bent down and scooped her up into his arms. They both shivered as the electricity shot up both of there bodies. 'Beacon Hills will be the death of me.' Was the thought that Fane had running through his head as they started to leave.

They made it back to the house in 30 minutes. Malia was quietly snoring in Fanes arms. He walked to the room next to his and placed Malia into the bed. Taking off the bloody shirt she had of his from earlier he put her into a clean baggy shirt of his. Covering her up with a blanket, he then shut the light off and shut the door. Fane slowly tiptoed to his room so he wouldn't wake her. Finally laying in his own bed. He couldn't come to terms to what he was feeling for Malia. He knew that some supernatural creatures would have a mate or soul mates. They had connections deeper than anyone could imagine as he could see from her speaking in his head. He never knew this would happen to him. It almost felt like another problem for him to deal with on top of finding his daughter. Fane just laid there for a few hours looking at the ceiling until he heard his door creak open and shut. He felt a presence enter his bed and wrapped her arms around his body. He heard a sigh of contempt as her breathing evened out and she fell back asleep. Fane was as stiff as a board. He looked at her face that was shown from the moon light in the window. He just smiled to himself, he laid his head near her and her scent smelled so good to him. He didn't even notice that he was hugging her back as he fell asleep next to her.
